    I start the episode with a very unexpected leopard sighting early one morning right outside Mata Mata. It was a small female and no-one was able to identify her. I also find the loving lion couple near 13th borehole where they lay roaring at first before walking right past my vehicle.
    I also spend more time staking out Craig Lockhart waterhole in the hope of photographing my first caracal in the Kgalagadi.
    In camp, I download and edit photos, watch a boisterous herd of wildebeest at the Mata Mata waterhole and I walk across to the Sitzas farm stall on the Namibian side to buy some rusks.
    It was very hard to leave Mata Mata, and especially those lovely little meerkats, but next up was 5 nights at Nossob! En route, I also saw Hanri the cheetah again more than 60km north of where I last saw her at Twee Rivieren 12 days earlier.

    Yet another fantastic video! Thank you for sharing. I have to say that it makes me a little sad to see that only two more left. After last year's trip to SA it's mainly your channel that keeps me hungry for more Africa and informed about possibilities and interesting places. In my opinion you are doing a great job promoting tourism in the whole southern African region. If you don't mind answering two gear related question - do you film everything on R6, including talking to camera and inside the car or are you using as a secondary camera? Which MacBook model are you using and would you recommend it? I'm also curious about camping setup but I'll wait patiently for next part of the series.

    • @TheSafariExpert
      @TheSafariExpert  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos! I actually use my iPhone 15Pro to film myself inside the car. The R6 is for wildlife only. I edit on a 4 year old Macbook Pro and it works extremely well! Editing is done on Davinci Resolve. Episode 5 covers a lot of my camping setup 👍🏻😎

      @@TheSafariExpert Thank you for your answers, amazing how handy a smartphone can be. I'm looking for a laptop myself, but I never had a Mac and I'm afraid that I'll pay the hefty price and won't like it.
      BTW. I started thinking about going to Kgalagadi 😆 I just need to figure out where do I get money for this 😆
