I want to say I like him still, but when I hear him live, without punching in or auto tune, he really lost it. BUT, what he's done in the past was AMAZING!
I've always wished i was born earlier so that i could be the right age to be able to marry him when he was in his prime... now look at him, it hurts man. I love him so much, but he certainly is a mess now.
He's still hot and he can still sing, and he's the same guy he was in Skid Row. Time marches on, man. Physical bodies age. It happens to everyone, even the prettiest frontman in metal.
He didn't handle that question about Skid Row too well. First off, he wouldn't even be where he was if it wasn't for Skid Row. SECOND OF ALL - He did not write ONE word from Skid Row's first CD, there was a singer called Matt Fallon that wrote all of the first CD lyrics AND melody...granted Sebastian was a better singer, but he DID NOT COME UP WITH ANY SONGS IN 1987. He just showed up and sang. Google it, this is the truth. Just google Matt Fallon Skid Row and you will see how Sebastian came in and just copied what the old singer did note for note.
After all these years, no. Yes the songs were written already when he joined, but when he sang those songs, Skid Row rose to fame fairly quick. Other boys had played some time already at that point, but something was missing and we do know exactly what that something was so please dont belittle sebastians part in the band at all. Those kind of bands needed a great frontman and skid row found it. It is how it is, and everybody knows that. I even went and listened Matt Fallon vs Sebastian Bach and i regret it as i write it. Matt is not terrible, no no no. But hes like straight up bon jovi. We really dont need another bon jovi , especially not singing the Skid Row songs.
more like skid row wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't for bach. and no, he didn't copy matt fallon. nobody wanted to hear those songs with matt fallon. not jon bon jovi, not doc mcghee. it was when he came and re-sang them adding his own melodies on top is when people got interested. he didn't write them, but he sure as hell made them "in demand" by others.
