Ah yes bud 👊🏂 it was bang on .. worth finishing slightly earlier in the day and fuelling up on some food & drink 🍺 so you can enjoy the full night session - 1830-2200hrs - visibility was good considering snow cannons in operation and the snow was falling .. yellow lenses for sure 👌😀
What are the lifts like for boarding? Heading out there in 2025, but I only tend to get gondolas so I can step in and out. I’m thinking you’re somewhat more skilled than I am, and chair lifts may not bother you.
@@Knarky1 😀 hi there to be fair the lifts actually are ok 👍.. there’s not too much of a slope to exit … There is one crazy fast drag lift over the back of the mountain… but other than that it’s really ok bud 🏂.. in regards to the night boarding/skiing there are only a handful of lifts in use .. but if the conditions are favourable it’s a fabulous 4hrs I recall 1800-2200hrs 👍 safe boarding out there 😄
Hi, I saw in your other videos that you bikepack with a backpack... how is it? How much kg? And is comfortable over long rides? I am planning brining my dog who is about 3kg 😃
Ah yes 😀🚴♂️ I do always take a Backpack 🎒.. it’s the 25L Osprey.. with my kit in it weighs in around 6.8 - 7 kg which is as much as you’d want on your back over distance .. I wouldn’t go any heavier .. I’ve had no issues using a backpack over many years .. sure people will tell you the bike is supposed to carry the weight .. but it’s down to the individual and in my experience spreading the load evenly has worked best for me 😀👊🚴
@@BASE-hb1ji 👍🏂 Well am sure you’ll enjoy, alas everything is dependent on the conditions of course & thats something one is unable to predict 🤞 early indicators are good as they’ve already had some mild snow fall, we endured some incredible skiing/boarding conditions with continuous snowfall over a 4 day period which made for perfect conditions for the night sessions too 👍😀
