We used to do clean ups the same way you're doing it until I broke down and spent the money on a really good diesel-powered zero turn mower with vacuum collection system. Last fall I did just over 70 fall clean up accounts by myself . Basically just make a quick run around the yard with a Stihl BR 800 Backpack Blower blowing everything out away from the fences and trees in landscaping and then go over the yard with the mower vacuum. I dumped everything at the curb and then come back later at night and suck up all my piles with the leaf vacuum trailer. Used to take us about three weeks to do approximately 50 accounts in the fall with a full crew of five to six people.... now with my new vacuum system it only takes me about 3 weeks to do around 70 accounts by myself. Only downside is I do miss working with the guys every fall backpack blowing and drinking coffee and shooting the bull. Used to have a great time in the old days with the guys doing fall cleanup. Unfortunately everybody has gotten old and retired or found easier work and now I can't find employees with today's generation, so I'm forced to do everything alone with bigger better new equipment. You guys enjoy your time working together because time goes by so fast !!! take it in and enjoy it while you can.
I went back & forth between Little Wonder and Billy Goat. Pulled the trigger on a 9.5 LW with a Kohler engine. Dealer sells both and let me demo the BG and I was not impressed. With the BG, you have to constantly keep squeezing the trigger to aim the air where you need it. If you let go, the chute on the BG goes upward. With LW, it is easier to control the airflow and it points more forward plus its lower. Definitely pushes leaves further. The BG air chute is higher up and was missing leaves right in front of it. Plus to blow forward, you have to add a plastic PVC piece whereas the LW you just flip the lever. Little Wonder all day long! I would have definitely mowed that lawn first to make it easier to blow; even put the catcher on and make some dumps to the curb. Keep up the good work!
I just bought a little Wonder used with a 6 horsepower motor, so far I am very happy with the unit and it is doing everything that I need. Great bargain for $200.00 bucks- an elderly gentleman bought it new and barley used it. New fuel lines in tune up is all I did ,works awesome!
Love the video Caleb I might be in the market but for the biggest engine little wonder has to really give those leaves a push and with a jroco leaf buggy for the turf tracer
We have the self-propelled with the Honda 390 and they are a lot closer to the ground and do blow a lot further than my friends billy goat that has a larger engine. Problem with Billy go to is that they have a plastic housing which wears out.
They can be very helpful if you only have a small 1, 2, or 3 man crew. But if you have a larger crew, backpack blowers and a leaf plow are the way to go in 2022!
@@CalebsPropertyMaintenance that is insane! I remember using the Little Wonder decades ago when I use to do Landscaping. Now they have those cool stand on blowers.

Grasshopper80s4ever .oldford Thank you for the advice. One of my goals is to get a Walker mower. Or maybe your idea is better 🤷🏼♂️.
what kinda mower did you get boss?
Very interesting! How big are the bags on the mower? I think the walkers have that auto-dump, correct.
@@turdsandwicher I'm wondering the same thing. Needs to have a big vac box, maybe Walker?
Billy goat was aimed directly to ground. So it volume of air seemed weak. But little wonder was more straight across.

oaktree71able Congratulations!
@@CalebsPropertyMaintenance great video!! Keep up the good work!
Squeaky clean!! God bless, Happy Thanksgiving, and greetings from Jersey bud!!!
Mike G. Same to you 🍽🦃
I bought the billy goat 18hp vanaguard self propelled blower. You'd sell both of those air speed and cfm is incredible.
Joe Bononia Indeed, either 18hp models would be awesome!

JS Landscaping 18hp?? Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽
Looks like it should have taken about an hour with 3 people here. How long did this take?
Most Interesting Nobodies Everything looks smaller on camera than in person. Also, we try to get every leaf.
I think i'm going to stick with the back pack blowers because I have a lot of obstacles I need to get behind and around.
smoke126857 I totally get that.
Hey buddy, i hope you had a good thanksgiving nice to see you making videos. How much paid for that little wonder and billy goat ?
Grassology4610 My Thanksgiving was great 👍! The Billy Goat 9hp. was in the $900s and the Little Wonder is just a demo. More to come on that.
I have a little Wonder at my job at a landscaping company I work for
Don't ask me why but Little Wonders blow the best in reverse.
Grasshopper80s4ever .oldford I know🤔🤔
Yeah, Billy goat was aiming down.
It seems like the little wonders shoot is designed to blow closer to the ground
Yes, it does much better on lifting the leaves off the ground. I will give my thoughts in an upcoming video.
U r right I have both

why don't you cut the grass before it would cut your work in half because the grass would not catch the leaves so much. looks good
JoLynn Trudeau It’s harder to the smaller leaf particles out of the grass then. No one around here does it that way. Blow then mow.
Ever hear of a rake?
We have 5 of them.
Nice wheeled blowers
How are these compared to back pack blowers

Give me the Little Wonder. 👍👍
Billy goat shoot wasn’t pointed at the optimal angle utilize the point and shoot. Little wonder with that split stream is awesome tho
Nicholas Shiplett The split stream 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I agree... billy goat was on too much of a downward angle... they are an awesome blower!,... as is the little wonder
Lackey Lawn Care But if I would raise the shoot, it would not get the leaves right at the blower and the ones stuck in the turf.
I think this could be done a little more efficiently.
I wish I could blow my leaves on the street and have them disappear. Moving them is what sucks.
I’ve seen some pretty nice leaf loaders that make it pretty easy. I know it’s not as easy as I have it though.
the big red click bait arrow is not needed.
Happy thanksgiving
Thank you, same to you.
The orange one was not doing anything the shoot wasn't set right
Are they the same hp?
Joe Meow Yes, both are 9hp.
