Great to finally see a fly fishing film that depicts what really happened and is still happening in Cuba, rather than glorifying Cuba based on its fishery. Incredible work to all involved.
I’m a Spanish teacher and I try to show lots of short videos about Hispanics around the US and Latin America. The English subs for the Spanish audio are great; it would be even better if there were Spanish subs for the English audio portions too!
Outstanding film. My wife was a physician in Cuba, and came to the U.S. eighteen years ago to start over again here with nothing but $100.00 and two changes of clothes for her and her daughter, now my stepdaughter. My wife grew up very poor in Cuba, but worked hard in school and went to medical school to become a doctor, but eventually wanted a better, free life for her daughter. When she got selected in the U.S. lottery to come here and was preparing to leave Cuba to come to the states, she was going to give her house to her mom to live in, but those bastards took it away from her and wouldn't allow her mom to have it. Thank you for making this film ang letting Americans and the world know just how repressive the Cuban government really is. It has not changed, either.
Cool history! I enjoy it with friends, not solo. We friends you have lots of time to chat, exchange jokes and histories. That might be the reason I enjoy it.
