I know it’s called a date, but a date can just refer to any outing to increase relations, and it looks like Itsuka doesn’t actually do anything that can be taken as purely romantic or sexual. I mean, the mouth kiss is an entirely different issue from the writer’s side, but in the context of the anime universe, he’s trying to seal her powers.

I love this series as a whole and I hope that in S4 we get more one on one between Shido and Tohka, don’t get me wrong I love the rest of the cast but both Shido and Tohka need a together win, they’ve practically been built for each other since the beginning
