The price is actually pretty fair. They basically revolutionized the ui and ar in vr headsets. The only headset that even comes close to this is twice as expensive. People think colour passthrough is easy because the quest pro has it but no one understands how SHIT the meta pro's colour passthrough looks, and it was considered the best for the price for a bit.
The eye tracking is pretty crazy too. None of the competition UI or functionality even comes close to this

Saying the quest 3 and the Vision Pro do the same things is right, but it’s like comparing a 200 dollar phone to a 2000 dollar phone, they do the same functions but one does it sooo much better (the 2000 dollar phone).
The physical keyboard with predictive text pop-up is already a thing. I’m using it right now with a physical keyboard on my iPad. Still sick though.
What does it realistically do (aside from eye tracking) for seven times the price over the Quest 3

The only feature i could ever wish for is like a camera translate so i could play my japanese import games and instantly have the text translated to english so i can understand whats going on
Theres a light or dark environments mode look up to the green control panel and dial light ir dark
This is good for some of my patients . It will help Them

@@fabienbrown309it’s only better in terms of performance power, audio, resolution and some features. Pretty much all features on the Vision Pro has already been done by headsets from 2019 such as the quest 1. Apple just takes other features and brands it as their own. There has been vr OS’s for decades, oculus implemented an AR and VR OS, so Apple is not the first. Yeah, the Vision Pro has the best resolution money can buy, but its price compared to its features and specs isn’t great, especially since you can buy human eye resolution vr headsets for £400. That’s nearly 1/10th of the Vision Pro MSRP.
@@fabienbrown309and I’ve tried multiple different vr headsets: HTC vive, htc vive cosmos, quest 1, rift S, the list goes on. And the quest 1 had hand tracking (though not great) it was probably the first headset to officially implement hand tracking built in. The quest 3 and quest pro hand tracking are obviously much better, the point is that most if not all the features on the Vision Pro has already been done by other companies.
Whats cool is that i LOVE glass design, its callwd acrylic by windows but i think apple executed it perfectly (im not a hardcore apple fan i am posting this on a pixel 6a)

Glass is a font and can probably be replicated but personally as someone who has used mixed reality (not just vr) I won't to control the brightness
Eye tracking mod has already been used on the meta pro and uses the same hand gestures
Only reason meta quest 3 doesn't have eye tracking is because it's expensive.
Keyboard use that was Apple using Apple it's the only feature that's actually cool like you could use a MacBook or iPad or something through the Apple Mixed reality

Me it's a mac a iPhone a 4k oled tv it's a camera a vr and ar 3d camera 3d movies. screen size as big as a building if you want. good audio looks good so me so i don't have to buy alot of stuff like a good mac book or a iPhone or airpods pros a $2,000 or more oled tv your a 3d camera or a 3d tv or a big tv that can't fit in my house or a quest 3 or pro or a ar glasses that can easily add up to more than the apple version pro soo the price is good for what it can do and not all people can buy the vision pro just like not all people can't get a iPhone if you got the money you got the money.

The transparency effects and widgets from Vista were inspired by macOS when Microsoft wanted their operating system to look more modern/futuristic like the Mac did at the time, compared to XP.
@@extremeheat7947Windows has a tendency to follow the design of MacOS. When Microsoft first came out with their graphical user interface it straight up took everything from the Mac and flipped it. The menu bar was on the bottom rather than the top. The icons were aligned left as opposed to right . Window buttons went on the right instead of left. And the cursor was white with black outline rather than black with white outline. More recently, Windows 11 made the taskbar more like the Mac dock, and brought rounded window corners and more frosted glass materials as seen in macOS.

Probably what they do with the iPhone, so things like VoiceOver, which is text to speech.
In reality, if you're visually impaired, you shouldn't spend 3500 dollars on a headset named Apple *Vision* Pro.

Calling it idk when maybe decades whatever, when these get smaller and more common you will be able to create spaces and invite ppl to them like families in houses and guests and when invited to the space can see a shared space of AR things like tvs and whatever while keeping things like your gallery and bank apps and other sensitive apps private, if these are able to do what is shown even with this being the first one made a lot of things are going to change big time everywhere
Companies will take big hits when people realize that spending $3500 on something like this, getting even better considering this is their starting point and should hopefully only move from there, is cheaper than buying a living room tv and bedroom tvs and game consoles and laptops like most houses that could realistically consider the $3500 price point do, while also doing what all of those did for the person using it in a single device efficiently (hopefully🤞). Which is shown in their video that it can run apps like safari and social medias, being able to download all or most apps on ur phone to the headset, hopefully including things like Xbox app’s remote play which u can use without the need of your own Xbox just a monthly/yearly subscription you would need anyways, or PS Remote Play, already shown giant screens for movies
We in the future rn the things we doing rn technologically is very similar to a few predictions we grew up with, good example being bo2 campaign, little bit further off than the predicted 2025 but pretty damn close considerably

Final thought: having these be more common and accessible would probably be better for pollution in a lot of ways too because it takes all these actions where you need multiple decent sized things to perform that come wrapped in plastic put in a box with more of them in a bigger box stacked together with other boxes wrapped in plastic again to be put in heavy metal boxes on a giant boat that has to carry all that weight and move it using fossil fuels on top of all the fossil fuels used to make the plastic and produce those boxes with the time and resources all that takes where u can go even deeper and see companies wont need to pay for the materials to manufacture a probably decent chunk of all types of plastics or transportation costs which is a decent way to cut expenditures and potentially increase profit by starting to surf this tsunami before the earthquake even hits
