the stone fireplace is worth an additional comfort point. Once you guys upgrade to the new haus be sure to move all your comfort decor to get best results.

A convenient mod, that I really like, is the Valheim+ setting, that allows one to repair several pieces in a certain radius, at once. You could call it a "vein repair" function.
Also a tip about iron chest storage:
If you place the iron chests, beginning on the top shelf (not the bottom), you can have the shelves closer together, resulting in a more compact storage, fitting more rows of iron chests under a given roof or floor.

i like building from boxes because you could stand by storage, build a portal, then break it and put it in your inventory without searching through the boxes :)
I agree, just use whatever mod you want. If it's gamebreaking, but you are having fun, I'm having fun.

Yeah!!! I'm always waffling about. It was pretty triumphant. But the compound is turning out great!

veinmine is great to speed up the mining for the pillars in the plains as well, not just the copper veins. :)
At least you got a trophy for all the bother (dying). I'm on community level pace right now with the Draugr village spawner, 12 elite trophies, crossbow skill 35 and 0 deaths. I give the archers a straight shot at me always too, I just don't let them out of their cabin sized 1x2 stone rectangle.

I *love* Veinmine. Yes, it can be a little cheaty. But ultimately, the 'cheatiness' depends on how the user decides to utilize it. I don't see any reason not to use it for resources that aren't necessary for current progression.

A mod for convenience would be (forgive me, I forget the name) one that adds a search bar to the crafting tables, so you can just search "nail" or whatever instead of scrolling and missing things.

@@WafflesGamesProbably It's called AAA_Crafting by Azumatt! Adds a search bar, the ability to input a number of items to craft (say, craft 10 items), as well as a recipe tracker, but I don't know how that works
Veinmine is fine by me, for what my opinion is worth to you. Its not a game breaker, its just a game accelerator. It doesnt enable you to do what you cant already do, its just (a lot) faster.
Yeah that makes sense. We're already on EP 45 and it's just now officially mountains tier. Accelerating extra previous tier materials makes sense to me!
@@WafflesGamesProbably I dont know of any mods to speed up wood-gathering so coal for smelting will still be a bottleneck. Mind you, I havent actually looked for one, so I may be wrong.
Dudes. Nobody watches this to see you grind. We watch for the buffoonery. If a mod means less grind and more buffoonery, that's a win for everyone.
