I teared up, with nostalgia, recalling memories of the very early eighties, riding with legs out the window, and, with the driver and fireman, after dad (a metallurgist) having a quick yarn with them. We'd stop at the Zig Zag railway whenever passing too - I only ever remember riding in a carriage on one occasion - when mum came, took - otherwise, dad would get a ride for the three of us, including my sister, in the locomotive, 'assisting' the fireman shovel the coal...how great it was...
