Awww memories of my childhood trip to Hollywood. We went there in '77, when Jaws was still "new." Scared the living daylights out of me and I still have old photos of it. Wow. So neat to see how it's evolved. Yes please take another trip back!
Thought jaw was to kill 007 or Roger Moore
I had nightmares for two weeks!
Lucy and Doc Brown were awesome! Great actors.
The runaway train used to wake up every day! My friend Clarissa did all of the foreign backstage tours at Universal in French, German and Italian. Back then, the Italian guys all wore mascara!😎
It's so rad to see all the different types of sets in one place
Trivia? How many stars have there own star on walk of fame as of 9/18
Your daily vlogs are the best. I feel like I went to Universal studios without all the walking.
Thank you
I'm in Florida--thinking about Annual so i can do all the walking.
SCOTLAND! !! I'm full blooded Scottish and my husband is buried there. It's a beautiful country, even more amazing people and the Highlands are breathtaking.
Enjoyed seeing this tour and sets, the guy playing Dr Brown plays his part very well as well as the women who plays Lucy, the interaction with both were awesome
I lived in California for many years and never went there. Thank you for taking us there . Love the vologs.
i never have either would love to go but not if i have to drive
💙💙💙I have been here but it has been years. Thanks for the memories
I’m seriously doing that tour when I visit in December because you were kind enough to share. I can’t wait! Lucy and Doc were adorable...and Jah too of course.
I went on the Universal Tour 40 years ago....boy has it changed. LOL. im a Charlie Chan fanatic, would be cool to see anything about those movies.
DAZE WITH JORDAN THE LION I REALLY LOVE YOUR BEHIND THE SCREEN TOUR ENTER ACTING WITH PEOPLE AND 3 D THAT IS AWESOME GRAPHICS THIS IS ON MY BUCKET LIST
The people who played Lucy and Doc were awesome!
If you have the funds, I recommend the VIP tour. It's a smaller tram and you get out and get to walk around. All the rides are included and you get to see a couple of stages. You do all the same stuff that you did, but it's a little more personalized.
I feel like I'm right there wi u Jordan! Thank u for shown ppl like myself a part of the world we otherwise wuddnt get to see! 👍
Jordan, I took that tour years ago, and I also enjoyed it! It was AWESOME seeing all that in person!
I loved the Lucy character, her moves and her answers were classical Lucy. I've seen that ride before and each time I see something new. Have a great day all.
I loved this one. Their Mexico scene wasn't near as beautiful as it was when you were there. I never knew Mexico was that colorful
Thank you for the tour Jordan 😊❤
Wow Doc Brown is just spot on 👍😊
I have super fond memories of my childhood trip to Universal and (among other cool things) rode the tram tour. Pretty sure we saw the notorious carrot tooth Jaws.
Just to add to 'why you vlog everyday' -- so people like me, stuck in the middle of the country can walk around with you and jah and see the sights.
i just happened upon you a few weeks ago and I have binged so many of your vlogs
thank you for doing this.
Hi Jordan. I’m from Australia but I did that same tour in 2014. It really brings back memories. Thank u for the video and welcome home!
Great vlog. Unlike all the other Universal Parks this one did movies and TV shoes. Like knot's berry farm the tram tour was to make money on the cafeteria. They would leave you stranded in the center of the park. I remember the land of the giants props there.. First stop was the sound stage for the Phantom of the opera.. Last stage was the set of all things Iron side. Collapsing bridges. boulders, Jaws, creature of the black lagoon, Mchale's Navy boat. Thumbs Up!
Jordan, you are the best RUclips person out there. I love your videos. Visiting Hollywood is a long time dream of mine and I thank you for taking me along. Love movies, celebrities, and the history of Hollywood. Saving up to become a patreon of your channel and to visit Hollywood. I hope to achieve this dream soon. Thank you for these experiences. Love Jah. He's the best dog. Keep doing what you do. Thank you again.
Thank you!
Really enjoying the Universal vlogs. Lucy was so lifelike!
Hahaha.... I LOVED Lucy. She put a smile on my face. It sounded like her. Peace to you and Jah!!
way more fun than Disney . Kicking myself for not going in 2010 when I lived around the corner for a little while.
Lucy and Doc were great!!!
When I was a kid it was just the tram tour and some shows. The tram tour lasted roughly 3 hours! Way different today.
Your vlogging is impeccable as usual! You're bringing back memories for me. When I moved back to my state of California, I got a job at Universal as a tour guide on the tram. Crazy how you basically have to memorize nearly the equivalent of a textbook. Great stuff, sir! Thank you.
Nice backlot tour. Loved your interaction with Lucy and Doc. We got to be part of the audience on the Voice a few years ago when the judges of the show were Christina Aguilera , Ferrell, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. It was a nice experience, but if you need a bathroom break and your part of the audience, good luck. You have to wait til they come to your row, then you have to walk a ways to the portapoddies available to use.
The experience is not for the faint at heart. I’ll take Jordan’s vlog tours anytime over my personal experience. Thanks for the great backlot tour and yes, the butter beer is fantastic ❣️
Wow! What a difference 30 years made! 😄 That's when we took the Universal tour. Can't do all that walking now, so thanks for a look at everything now! 👏👍👍
That was fun. I always enjoy the history and behind the scenes tours.
This is all just too much for me to take in....FANTASTIC...those dinosaurs....OMG!!! lots of love Jordan from Liverpool, UK xxxx
That was really great and that they let you film it !
Tram ride was fun. Used to go there often in the 80's and 90's. The earthquake ride and Mexico look exactly the same. Thanks for taking us along. Brought such great memories!!
Love the 3D glasses lol!! Very cool cars no doubt Barres built them. Pretty cool tour thanks for taking me along 🦁❤️!!
I've been to Universal Studios more than once. They keep adding to it and always making it interesting.
@14:12 when she says it's where Three Amigos fought El Guapo - it's actually where they filmed the scene in black and white that Carmen watches in the church, where she first learns of the Amigos - not where they ever fought El Guapo :)
Very nice Jordan i enjoyed that just as mush as you did ! thank you for taking us along ;-)
Wow! That was......AWESOME!! thanks for taking us along as always Jordan😉☺
Love your show and Jah. It's so nice to see a young man with your personality and talent. It sure has been a life saver during this COVID19 time for me. No need to answer this. We know how you feel about you viewers. Take care of yourself and that precious Jah.
Lucy looked very original I enjoyed the tour
I love watching these type o' videos
That was awesome! And the guy portraying Doc Brown rocked it!!
you americans love that word awesome and wow!!!
linda lee 🤣
Awwwww loved seeing Back to the Future...such a classic! Thanks JTL!
Oh my the flash flood still happens! The last time I was there was in the 80’s. They still had the parting of the sea and Jaws.
This video brings back a funny memory! True story. My sister used to be the head RN on the back lot at Universal from 1997-99 (roughly). I’d go to visit her on occasion, and she’d take me around on the back lot in her golf cart! She told me the story of the one time one of the nurses accidentally tried to cross the wash just before the “Parting of the Red Sea” attraction was to begin...she didn’t make it and got stuck! 🤪
The first time I visited, I got completely turned around (in my vehicle) as I was leaving, and ended up right there in “Hill Valley” and drove around the town square, right by the clock tower. Then I found myself (trying to get out of the lot) at Dream Works, and pulled into Craig T Nelson’s parking spot to turn around! (my mom had a Mercedes 560 SL at the time that I borrowed, I think that is why I didn’t get into trouble, haha). Finally I was able to find the proper exit and get out. What a hoot (and a great way to see the lot!)🤣
Hi Jordan and Jah! What a great tour, it felt just like I had a trolley seat right next to you. The scenery was spectacular. Thanks for taking me along, glad you made it back safely to the USA! Awaiting your next adventure :)
Took the Universal tour in 1982. Was something to remember for sure ! 💗
Well, that was amazing. OMG, I would love to go to Universal Studios one day and go on the tour and the rides. You are so lucky having all those Studio's and things by you. Just seeing where so many famous films and TV shows were made would be out of this world. Can't wait for your next Universal Studios tour Jordan. Brilliant vlog again.
Thank you Jordan. The video tour was excellent. Really enjoyed watching it. My love to Jah.
Love your tour. It is something I have always wanted to do. You brought it to life.
When we were there for our honeymoon, they couldn't guarantee we could walk around Hill Valley, the main reason we went there lol, for the then 400+ VIP tour. Thank you for this, my friend!! :-D But, the tram tour vas Super Awesome and the King Kong 3-D! :-D The DeLorean they had back in 2012 was the A car they restored. . Thank God.. that broke my heart seeing it like that!
Wow Lucy was good she was awesome good video
Love that so much, wish I could go . Just loved the skull island part, so much fun. And the great outdoors cabin, I love that movie, one of my all time favorites, I miss John candy. And I love coach. I can't wait for you to tour the Harry potter part of the park. Have a great weekend and thanks for the fun.
The guy that came out in front of the psycho house... this may sound silly but I wonder how many tours he has to sit around and wait while each one goes by and he comes out for less than twenty seconds ? Btw... I LOVED this video !!!
I love your little dog. I enjoy your videos too. You do a good job.
Thank you sooo much for this tour ... your the best👏🥰👏not chessy at all ... it was amazing 🥰👏🥰
Thank you, great time !!
It is my favorite attraction at Universal. Love it so much. I have always visited Universal during late spring or summer. Nice to see all the different overlays.
I've been in the cabin! It's great inside. They actually have real electric outlets in every room and you can walk upstairs to other bedrooms. Looking out the windows you use to be able to see a beautiful lake outside, so it really felt like you really were in the great outdoors! That was one of my favorite places to hang out because it was one of only 2 or 3 real buildings that are real from the inside and not just the front. Loved the video. The Back To The Future square looks a bit different now but they had two really bad fires that burned down a lot of Chicago town and i think both king kong rides. Looks like I need to take the tour!
i have been Universal Studios in 1996 i did had a very nice time one day i will go agin
That was absolutely fantastic! Thank you! Another one I never would have seen! Your Awesome!🌹
Loved it!!! I'll never get there to see all of that so this was wonderful!!! The woman doing Lucy had her voice down pat! Same for Doc Brown!! Thank you so much!!!

Unfortunately Studios Hollywood Love my favorite one fan Big 💖💖💖💖🗽Hollywood old
Took that same tour years ago. It's changed alot since then.
Thanks for this post Jordan. I went to Universal studios once a very long time ago. It was in 1962 when I was 12 years old. Obviously much has changed. Thanks again.
I remember going on that tour years ago like in the 70's or 80's. Things have really changed since then and I hope to go on that tour again in the near future but now that you took us on it with you I might not have to now. Thanks
I haven’t been to Universal Studios since 1978!
😁 whole lot of awesomeness for real !! Especially love the flood simulater and the Hogwarts Castle!! Thank u Jordan!
What a cool place!! I enjoyed all this tour. Seeing Jah always brightens my day. As always , this was so much fun!!🙆♀️
Found out not too long ago, that the town square on the back lot was also used for the town square in the Ghost Whisperer
And the city center in gremlins!
Love you and your dog and what you do thanks
i have been Unversal studios i spand all day i love it
That is a great back lot tour. The movie sets are cool. You sounded like you were having fun. I heard the story of how Spielberg come to the back lot one day, and the Orca (from Jaws) was gone. He asked one of the crew there and they said that they chopped it up and hauled it away. HE WAS MAD! That was very interesting Jordan. Thank you.
During Halloween u gotta visit the poltergeist movie house attraction! X
Fascinating stuff you post, I have been to the Universal Studios in FL. Got to get out to Cali., thanks for sharing.
I. Seen the grinch in person there it was awesome I had my photo of the grinch and his dog
When I was in Universal Studios back in 1971 I got to tour the "Andromeda Strain" film sets.
Again you find the neatest places!
Much better than Orlando Universal Studios!
That was an awesome tour! Loved all of it!
Omg!! Frozen butter beer is the best!!😋(if you are fond of butterscotch)
I have seen the same guy playing Doc Brown pop up in a bunch of LA based videos in the recent past and he is fantastic. I would love to see an interview with him as it must be interesting to be Doc Brown everyday. The Lucy was also an amazing performance. It must be amazingly difficult to keep up those personas for long periods of time and react in the moment to random events.
Super cool, the tour was so much fun :)
Hey ,DUDE ,I have those exacte same green glasses ,e joy your tours of the famous and child TV hood shows ,thks Keep Up The Great Work ,really appreciated.
The Tranformer ride was the best ride I ever been on.
Luv the new attractions they have there..!!..thanx for another interesting and informative vlog...☺
Doc Brown was amazing.
Thank you soooo much! I really enjoyed that and had fun watching this vlog every second of it! You make it so fun and Jah is cherry on top!!! I hope to get to universal one day- you made it worth trying for the trip!!!! I am totally amped up!
Man the guy who played Doc Brown was exactly like and sounded like Christopher Lloyd!
That was a lot of fun!
Well that was fun, but I was disappointed I didn't get to see Jaws come out of the water. I have always wanted to see that. It may seem hokey to some, but I still wanted to see it.
It was awesome! I loved the Jurassic Park, even with out 3D!
Jordan I enjoy the tour Thanks
This was Epic!! Going to watch this vlog A LOT!! 😍❤
19:42 "How about the gourmet here, you know what he wanted? Hotdogs! You know what they make those things out of, Chet? You know? "
You should have seen this back in the '60s when it opened. You still parked in a dirt lot :)
