Beautiful song. I've been a fan of Miley since day 1 and I have enjoyed her journey. I love that in this song, she doesn't speak of her past in a negative way. She was young, she had fun, she made great choices and bad ones but its a part of life. I think y'all would enjoy her interview on the Joe Rogan show.
And the regrets that one has when living that kind of lifestyle can cause a lot of pain. We are hardest on ourselves when regret creeps in. It's a long road and a process to learn to forgive yourself. Then the realization kicks in just how lucky we were to survive our own destructive behavior. Life is precious and young people don't realize it sometimes.
