I have circles under my eyes and hyperpigmentation on my checks, so I take concealer and create a straight line from my cheek to my hairline, it helps break up that circle, or at least I think it does. My circles are not dark, it’s just the shadowing they create.

Absolutely essential video! I am rethinking my concealer technique ASAP. I never gave a thought to use as a highlighter ( I have not fell in love with an actual highlighter to date).
So useful and lots of tips. Why have I never tried most of these products? Definitely making a list based on your recommendations especially the Chanel Vitalumiere. I know you have mentioned it before as a favourite. Also what you said about exfoliating really rings a bell with me and I will start doing it more regularly. It makes sense that even if the product is fantastic it’s not going to look good on a layer of dry skin.😀

This is a great video. I am 66 and looking tired. I will give your techniques a whirl. The most problematic area is the under eye concealer. Do you think the Chanel sublimage concealer is a good choice, won’t crease.? Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! The best concealer is Armani, Tom Ford, Laura Mercier Flawless. BUT, what matters most is application! A little dab and tap and blend with finger. Build up product slowly.

FYI: for those who have jowls, your lips may be turning down, you can underdraw the upper lip & draw up on the bottom to reduce the sullen, resting droop a NuFACE doesn’t correct with muscular training or taught-holding a big pencil ✏️.

I use Tom Ford concealer but it's not pen...Still, it's the best concealer I came across in last 10 years. It really covers and it doesn't moves or creases. Highly recommend.

What's your camera, lighting situation? Looks like consistent (!), natural lighting. I love that you shoot up close and personal. We're able to see your skin texture, instead of the usual blown out studio lighting, where all complexion, product interaction is completely lost. As a former MUA, loving your practical tips and techniques. You're a gem!

@@CHERIVOYAGE oh no 😞 I even looked for the Tom ford pen concealer and that is also not available anywhere.
I can’t use a pencil for eyeliner. I will paint it on my hand and use a very thin angled brush and stamp it. Much easier in my opinion.

I love your videos. This one is no exception, but I was distressed to see the mushroom cloud of silica-hyaluronic powder. Breathing in silica is so dangerous for you. Maybe you could transfer the powder to a container that minimizes fine particle dust spray for your protection. Given your line of work, I fear for your safety.
