Definitely would like that breakdown. MS as always not clear at all about pricing. All the "Fabric pricing explained" videos made so far are the ones that should have a question mark on the title, not this one lol Also Networking fees coming soon™, I wonder how this could affect those using pay as you go vs reserved, as "paygo" is at times more cost effective since you can pause it
Thanks! It's a bit disheartening because I put considerable time into researching this topic and still have significant questions about what is and is not included in the various types of licenses as well as some of the details of things like OneLake versus "native storage". I'll continue to monitor this topic as networking fees and other changes are rolled out. It's already difficult enough to predict how much capacity you need and have predictable costs so I can't imagine adding network costs into the mix is going to make any of that any easier.
@douglascory I've added the "Power BI and Fabric Licensing.xlsx" file to the GitHub repository for this channel, github.com/gdeckler/MicrosoftHatesGregsQuickMeasures
No worries. Great to have a discussion around this since details are really not forthcoming from Microsoft. One correction in the video that I did confirm was that EM SKU's allow content to be consumed without a Pro or PPU license but only it seems within the app it is embedded in. That's my understanding from here: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-embed-secure EM SKU's though still seem to be rather undocumented to a large degree.

@@MicrosoftHatesGreg Thank you for your work !
Sorry for adding my comment in batches (editting multiple times). It was my third attempt to add it and seems it finally worked ;)

@@MicrosoftHatesGreg Definitely, with this pace of updates it is hard to keep up with all of these nuances and still be doing your daily duties :-D
