Grateful is a perfect word for appreciation. Great work. Caesar cried of Alexandra’s body in Egypt every night: As a man I kinda get it looking at your work; Caesar was wondering how could this 5 feet tall child rule the world.
The story about Caesar weeping when he gazed at a statue of Alexander, reflecting on his own lack of accomplishments at that age (this event supposedly occurred before Caesar had conquered anything) is a fun story, but it is also probably apocryphal. It's one of those things from ancient accounts that you have to take with a pinch of salt.
@@lycaonpictus9662 It was Alexanders actual burial coffin, we know its true because Caesar describes the coffin just as other historical writings. Here's the thing, there're two mosaics from Pella that most likely depict Alexander, and in these mosaics, he has strawberry blond hair. This is awesome! Some historians visited my family telling us they've tracked us down to be the descendant of him. So cool to see what hed actually look like. Thanks.
He was said to be very attractive and even called beautiful! Good job!!!!
Alexander was a very beautiful man. With blond or red hair, expressive eyes, regular shapes of face
Probably one of the best projects for someone so pivotal in history. Quite a slick fellow as well!
From what you created, if he looked similar to that, I'm sure women FELL MADLY IN LOVE WITH HIM!!!!
@Scott Mutual Because you were there and you knew him.
The dude had sons.
Or at least a son, since the origins of his son Hercules was disputed then.

What about Cyrus the great
@@adnankhannsw Cyrus is an excellent idea.
How wonderful, such an awesome reconstruction! I’m of Greek heritage and this is really quite special, thank you! Alexander The Great’s mother (Olympia) came from the same region that my Father was originally from.
I just love these recreations of people long past. Making them move as if they are alive is weird but amazing. Unfortunately, Alexander the Great only lived to the age of 33 but watching your age progression made it possible for the viewers to get a glimpse at what would have been had he lived to old age.
Absolutely - can you imagine what he would have accomplished if he had lived longer?! Crazy to think about.
What it truly means to be immortal, more then 2000 years and people still remember
That Cupid’s Bow lip…beautiful!
Gorgeous he was
Gorgeous ! Absolutely gorgeous. Love your works. Alexander is one of the most interesting and most complex historical figures. This particular work is very very beautiful. Enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for sharing. My greetings to you ❣️
Grateful is a perfect word for appreciation.
And Caesar in Egypt at any point in his adult life means he was quite accomplished indeed to say the least. The story shows how really ambitious Caesar really was.
THIS IS THE BLOODLINE....OF ACHILLES AND HERCULES......... POWER AND BEAUTY.... PLUS MIND!
I would suggest Alkiviades for a recreation. He was said to be one of the most handsome men in classical Greece and he really had rock star status.

The one bust of Alexander the great that was done during his lifetime is by the sculptor scopus. The head is located in the eufitsi gallery in Florence Italy
I just want to say, yours is the very best of the 'modern-face' channels I've seen, your work is the most realistic and life-like.
Thank you :) I really care about having it match to best of my abilities.
If his statues are reliable... wow! And what an incredible life.
Excellent work, although history can be so blurry you have managed to give us a very delicate and vivid glimpse 👏👏👏
Despite my obsession with redheads, the one of him with slightly darker hair looks so Greek to me. But I love them all. Beautifully done, as always. ❤️
Thank you!
Here's the thing, there're two mosaics from Pella that most likely depict Alexander, and in these mosaics, he has strawberry blond hair. Plus, ancient historians described him as having reddish-blond hair, too.
The mosaic that shows Alexander in the battle scene with dark hair, was from Pompeii, Rome. Thus a later depiction.
@@RoyaltyNowStudios Just let me add this to your information. There are no historical accounts about the exact height of Alexander. Thus, the claim that he's over 5 feet only, is rather guessing and speculating and not really factual. Matter of fact, the tomb with the human remains of his father Philip II was found. And the analyzed skeletal remains revealed that he was nearly 6 feet tall. People back then were usually shorter than today. However, folks sometimes tend to exaggerate the shortness of ancient people.

It was also rumoured that he preferred the company of men in all his domains including the bed chamber and that he was as handsome as these statues portray. Your version does him justice I think.
He had a harem of 50 women
he was bisexual.
@@entityaccount3876 That’s mostly a modern day claim in no way backed by history. He was just close to people he could trust, and those were mostly men. When your mother is Olympias, you’re bound to have huge trust issues when it comes to people, and especially women.
@@alexman378 he had a Persian wife, he liked women too. in the ancient world fucking men was not looked at as bad, only if you were the receiver not the giver that it would be a humiliation. ancient Greek would not care if he liked the company of men only that he was the in charge so to speak. like in prison.
@@entityaccount3876 Again, modern claims, not backed by anything. If you were caught in homosexual interactions in Ancient Greece, the penalty ranged from losing your rights in the Agora, to exile (if you were dealt with legally that is, and didn’t get beaten down by other citizens). The reason this has started, is because they’ve found a total of 600 amphorae depicting homosexual interactions. Out of 80,000. That’s 0.75% of them total, and it’s largely what those claims are based on, along with speculations and baseless claims, many of which are derived from the assumption that if a man is really close to another man, it can only mean one thing. God forbid two men are extremely good friends these days.
Thanks. I'd been hoping you'd do Alexander.
Bravo ! As for very long a kind-of Alexander fan, I must say your re-creation of the King is very convincing. However a correction, there were portraits in wide circulation during Alexander's days on earth that still exist, namely the life-time silver tetradrachmas and parallel gold pieces minted in several cities of the Empire, one you briefly show. Incidently, I believe this was the first time a living ruler was depicted on coinage. It was said then it depicted Zeus-Amun, but everyone knew it was Alexander.
Oh thank you, I didn’t realize that nuance! I appreciate your input
It is disputed his height was only 5'2. It is now believed he was around 5'6, the average height for men in those times.
Wow, he was a hunk.
Being over five foot tall is tall back in the day. Today people are much taller than their ancestors
Wonderful! *Thank you.* This is an excellent approximation of how Alexander might have looked. Btw, I did *not* know that he was only 5 feet tall -- which must have given Napoleon (@ 5' 6 inches) comfort. My only single, teensy quibble is that, as Alexander died young, he did not have an opportunity to develop grey or white hair or an aged face....
For sure about the age - just fun to see if he would have lived :)
Napoleon wasn't little so that doesn't make sens but ok
@@user-ry6ey8gq3t Quite right! At 5' 6", Napoleon was a respectable height for his time. British propagandists promoted the idea of 'the Little Corporal.' But Napoleon was *not* as tall as, say, the Duke of Wellington; or as his colleague Thomas-Alexandre Dumas Davy de la Pailleterie, the first person of colour to be a French general (during the French Revolution). And we *do* know that Napoleon looked to Alexander the Great as the epitome of successful commanders.
