    This channel feels like a discovery!
    My work from home just ended and I have forgotten how humans dress. This video is my one step closer to civilisation.
    Thanks a bunch for the advice.

    My advice, never buy chinos online. The lack of consistency in sizing by manufacturers is a nightmare. And let's not be guided by the label and size. Because often, for example, Zara gives the size according to body measurements, but in fact the pants are sewn for a certain range. It may turn out, as in my case, that chinos a size smaller than what the manufacturer suggests for our body dimensions will fit better

      Agree but not everyone has time to shop in-store. Find a good and reputable brand and if the fit isn't right, tailor it up!

    With some body types, high rise (sit at or near bellybutton) can be a better look. Very few places carry high rise chinos. Also if you lift weights - you may want to avoid too much tapper at the calves. Lastly I find the comparison to "Khakis" which in American terms are cotton twill pants are worth considering as an alternative.

    • @theDapperVault
      @theDapperVault  5 месяцев назад

      On point with that comment. End of the day, it's about the overall proportions!
      Also a fun fact, khakis and chinos are the same!
      😃
      Thanks for stopping by!

    Hey all correct but is this chinos a bit tight in knee area? Like other length and stuff is okay but for me knee area a bit tight and has this waves.. Not too much but a bit like not that plain straight look like there is no waves.. Sorry for my English. :) I have never tried chinos I always go with jeans, slim fit jeans, formal pants and stuff.... Is this normal in chinos?

    I'm a guy who tends to get too hot. I also like shirts that are poly/silk feel (which helps to reduce heat). However, when I find certain shirts like these, I tend to mainly find those that are see-through (showing nipples). Do you have any recommendations to where to buy some good shirts like what you are wearing in this video? Thank you!

    I want chinos that fit. So far, all chinos are a crotch vise. Sit scars make the pants look awful. So wear them if you don’t plan on sitting. Razzzz is right. I have three pairs of the same Levi’s. All are different sizes and they all fit. I’m a 34” waist. in Dickies, I’m a 38”. In Levi’s I am a 34” and 36”. Ridiculous.

    Full break is fine. No break or ankle is a trend. Plus won’t work for short people.

    • @theDapperVault
      @theDapperVault  6 месяцев назад

      False. A perfectly fitted outfit makes shorter people look taller. Take the Modest Man for example, he looks tall in all his videos. Break preference is well, a preference. 😉

    • @Halejandrino
      @Halejandrino 5 месяцев назад

      @@theDapperVault false back at you. Pant breaks will make a shorter dude look taller rather than showing his ankles or no break. It is just a fact. Imagine being 5’3 and trying to “tailor” pants to your ankle. Might as well get some capris 🤣

    Chinos should have a small break. You are not going to buy perfectly fitting pants 95% of the time so buy a good fit and take them to a tailor. They can be worn in all but the most formal settings at work, in court, at a formal dinner.

    • @theDapperVault

      @@theDapperVault i guess that i should have said that chinos with a break can be used for semi formal wear in an office whereas without a break at all would be quite informal. At least that is what i learned from my father.
