I got your book in the mail at 2:20 this afternoon. It is now 7:45 and I am done… I could not put it down. You were speaking to me. This book was written for me. I felt just like you a year to the day my dad passed ( September 2021) from cancer. It literally hit me a year later. I, like you, lost control of my body. I cried, I felt sick the whole time, I went to sleep early cuz it felt better to sleep. Reading how you managed it and got out of it helped me so much. Many of the things I was doing, after researching…but many I learned from you just now. Gosh I wish I knew you in person. I want to give you a big hug and thank you so much. You write that you will be happy if your book helps at least one person. Well be happy because it did ❤ THANK YOU!!!

Hi Marie, I sat down today and opened your book. I have so much I would love to say but I know your time is precious. To make it short and sweet I will just say you touched my heart deeply and my own fur babies cuddled up with me as I cried. I wish I could hug you. I wish you the best moving forward with your life and I keep you in my prayers always. ❤
I’m just reading the comments and see all the comments about your book. I should be getting mine soon. I’ve been so excited to read it. I can tell I will be bawling my eyes out. I just had to put my dog down that I have had since delivering her from her mother, and having to breathe life into her because she wasn’t breathing when she came out, I had her for 13 years. I know how much pain losing a pet a.k.a. child as I called them can be my heart goes out to you.❤

Got your book today and finished it today. The beginning got me 😢 about Loxi. It was a great read but the last 2 pages had me crying like a baby.
Marie, I was anxiously awaiting your books arrival and it came a couple of days ago. I could have read it straight through but my life is busy right now. I’m half way through and the first couple of chapters slayed me. I lost my beloved Daisy a year ago to cancer. She was 14. Reading your heart wrenching words of your loss of Loxi brought it all back 10 fold. I cried and cried and cried some more. You know, the really ugly snotty cry.
Give you a headache cry. I’ve cried many times over the loss of my Daisy but this was the cry of that day we had to say goodbye. I miss her terribly. Like you, I’ve gotten another dog, Charlee. She’s a goldendoodle and she’s helped heal my heart. She’s brought joy back into our lives. You know, the joy only a dog can bring you.
Thank you for being so open and raw with us. I loved you before this book, and after reading what I’ve read so far I feel like I really know you now. Wish you could know all of us too! Glad having us helped you in those very dark days. Blessing to you always.

Marie you can never change the past it’s gone. Yes you had a beautiful house in TX , moved to FL, didn’t love it , moved back to TX. The house your in now is simply beautiful. A lot of people would die to have that house. You have great decorating skills and your going to love living in this house. Remember to enjoy the little things everyday. Be Gentle to yourself. Get your craft room and office done and do some junk journaling. I think that relaxes you. It would me. Enjoy life

With the wooden Halloween decor that you paint I took it and put on a t-shirt for the kids and spray-painted around it and put that imprint of the witch and the witches Bowl on there it was so neat the way it turned out

Glad to hear someone complain about nails! I had gotten mine when I was working in corporate law. Felt like I was Edward Scissors Hands!!! Running stockings, closing a necklace clasp? How?? Lol!! Didn't last long a couple months later after all the maintenance and fills was done with them, tire them off! Never looked back! Lol!

Speaking of sprinkles, when you do your Halloween candy haul, try and pick up some Charms Sprinkles lollipops. They taste just like a cupcake and it’s so interesting, kinda reminds me of something from my childhood. I bought mine at Dollar Tree (obviously) but on the candy isle, not in the Halloween candy-It’s in a pink bag.

You should keep the matching bath slime and hand soap and add them to the stocking stuffers for their Christmas presents that you are going to send for them.
You know that episode of Friends where Chandler and Joey guess all the items Rachel bought at the store? That would be such a fun live 😂 we guess what you hauled. Ex: pens, fruit stickers, die cuts for junk journaling etc.
I used 2 of the house faces with large popsicle sticks and made a complete haunted house.

Heres an idea for the solar stakes, get those small terracotta pot and put in those with moss, fabric whatever to hold them in place. Then you could set them in a window. I'm thinking of those who may live in an apartment and dont have a yard to put them in. Nice haul. Thanks for sharing. 😊

I think I mentioned this before that because of you I got the idea to use the cards in my scrapbooking. I don’t really do much junk journaling but I put pictures on the inside of the card and then glue the card down to the page

I like candy corn and the pumpkins and the brown parts I hear a lot of people dont like it or it's the worst candy I'm 65
I love candy corn as does my daughter. She lived in Europe for several years and of course there was no candy corn to be had. Mailing that box cost alot. It was very, very heavy. Other stuff included of course.
