As for the Zocom mirror thing, I think their rarity in competitive play combined with their coolness factor at a casual level (zone raiders, zoneheads, zone everything make big sonic boom) I think these games get a bit extra love whenever they come by.
Yeah always love zocom mirrors, and when u said unanimous support for highlight videos i nearly spat my drink out hahaha
I did enjoy the highlights you had done previously, and I know it's probably a lot easier to edit and make those videos compared to doing commentary over a whole video, but I do enjoy the full games as well since it can be a lot more entertaining to have those moments of big action, and then some slow times inbetween. Still, doing great work sir!

Coming from watching other games like starcraft or league casts, highlights are usually an addition to each full game or an after game thing pointing out specific points in a match. Love the idea of highlights but I just dont think this is the type of game for *exclusively* highlight videos. Either way, I always enjoy the cnc content and engaging commentary as always Sybert!
Edit: Just wanted to point out 15:50 because that is a clean edit right there.
Personally I love ZOCOM for being the most balanced between the vehicles, infantry and aircraft, and in this one all three were heavily used by both players. Nearly all of the remaining factions are dominated by vehicles, except for BH which is infantry-heavy but has zero aircraft.

I find artillery to be the most abusable element in games so Zocom mirrors are wonderfully scrappy affairs. Their most gimmicky units have a high skill ceiling too.

Unfortunately turning yourself into a Valorant highlights channel would greatly increase engagement because it's a significantly more popular game. It makes me cry inside.
Taking highlights from games and making shorts, or short form content I feel is still a great way to gain new fans of the series. Those who don't want to spend half an hour or more to try something new might still click a five minute highlight video.
How does the units move so smoothly? When I click for another direction my tanks (mammoths, predators, scorpions) stop, turn to the new direction and then start moving again, which is pretty anoying and costs lots of units while being chased. How do you fix it?

highlight videos sounds like tiktok/shorts type of content, like the regular games A WAY MORE interesting to watch since a lot of cool games being played after 2020
The highlights were still 90 minutes long, can't upload that to TikTok.

it wasn't "a few people" who said please no highlights. iirc, rouglhly the ten most voted answers were all some variations of "we want whole games".
And yet the videos still have 85%+ like ratios. Even if you add up all the comments and likes and add some multiplier it's still only a fraction of the total views for the video. It's useful feedback, but it's not the only consideration.
Hello! Me and my brother just started playing Kane's Wrath and I noticed that your video is playing at 60 fps - is in game also 60 fps? If so, how can we achieve that? In ZH, we had to install a mod but I couldn't find anything similar for CnC3.
The game runs at 30, the footage is interpolated up to 60 in the edit.
There is a tool that allows the game to run at 60, but it doesn't work with normal replays.
