I am not usually a fanboy but I have so much to love about this damn game! I LOVE the map and how high spots don't flood the lap with icons. I really appreciate that as I actually learn the environments so much better actually looking at them once I know the basic direction to go. The fact this game has coop and i haven't even touched it yet is insane.

A lot of channels reviewing this game just hated in this game and said how awful it is. I am 15 hours in to the game and I love it so far. From what they said the beginning of the game was horrible but I love it.
This game has been poorly advertised, its been months since announced and i still have no idea what this game is about. This video gives a clearer picture than the devs have beenn.
Just got this game today on game pass, and while it is super fun and looks cool, the combat system is a little frustrating at times. I only started today, so Im sure ill get the hang of it soon.
So, basically this combat system lets you switch between Kratos from the greek games, Kratos from the norse games and Asura from Asura's Wrath.... ok, already downloading

been playing it today, got it a day through pre-order. Played through 6 hours, will try and get through as much as possible by tomorrow and will be sending it back. I would get it on sale, but everything in this game is average as f***. Apart from the story, which is garbage lol. Honestly the combat systems was a good idea but there are so many things that just make it bad, hit detection, unfluid hits (they will have this kinda shake, slow down on impact, it's very minor but can make you lose momentum and overall just looks bad), and ariel combat is arse, the movement system in this game is just not built for it. It has some good rpg mechanics in terms of levelling and customization, so if your big on those it might be worth it. I would wait until it's on sale personally.

@@jihigh482 Yeah, the fact that really critical folks like ACG are saying the combat is LEGIT and t's some pacing and issues outside the combat that deduct points makes me think this guy is a bit of an outlier. They mention it's not DMC or Bayonetta, but definitely closer to The Surge 2/Darksiders and Kingdoms of Amalur. That type of combat is right up my alley.

Man this game is an underappreciated gem. The mobility of the character is awesome. Harkens back to the prototype days.

Gaming journalists are terrible. They hated on it purely for DIE reasons. (letters out of sequence so my post doesn't vanish)

I waited to play it until it hit full release. Just started a co-op playthrough with the wife. Likely no guides since they would be super late.
