In a way, this really was the flagship series David Mitton wanted, but it was almost like this theme realized it was apart of a dying breed of shows, the swan song of an era gone by before our time, one last piece for one great show. We won’t get another show like it, not in our age. It was both ahead of its time, and a product of its time, as the biggest thing that wouldn’t slide now would be Izzy’s involvement, but one thing fans agree on is that this show was struck down rather unfairly, and listening to this makes me realize that that’s life, some of us are taken before our time, and that it’s always best to cherish the time we have

I'll never forgive the fact it was basically over before it started. Childhood personified though, love TUGS.
In the years after.. the bigg city port was abandoned, and the old tugboats were left to rot… but, you can still see them today… why? Well I, Captain Star, did everything in my power to keep them alive, because this will, and will always be… TUGS

I never would have discovered this show if it hadn't been for Unlucky Tug. After watching the whole series from start to finish, I really felt robbed as a kid. Like, if I had known this existed back in the day, I would have loved to watch it. I was and still am, a hardcore Thomas fan, and this show really does it's job as it's sister-show. David Mitton really did himself proud, even if this show's limelight didn't last as long as he would have liked.

The tugboat, for its size, is the most powerful craft afloat. And the Star tugs are the power behind the docks and waterways that make up the Bigg City Port this is tugs
Every time I hear this it makes me shed a tear
I dont know if this makes sense, but this whole show and theme song feels what its like to be having a good dream, and trying to hold on to it while of waking up. The sunset scenes especially. Beautiful show.

This is a beautiful piece of music. It really is a shame this show never gotten past season one. I would’ve love to have seen what the crew had in mind when writing the scripts for future episodes. But at least we got 13 episodes and most of the models still survive today

I've never seen a bad word about Tugs. I'm deliberately not watching the 6 remaining eps because I'm saving them for low points so they can, pun not intended, keep me afloat.
Nothing beats this theme well maybe the intro weather or not it’s instrumental but non or less this will be remembered by all proper tugs fans 😢😢🥺🥺🥺🥺😔😔😔🥹🥹😔

What I loved most about Tugs. Was that Junior Campbell tried *way* harder. Then he needed to when composing the score. It wouldn't sound out of place being used as a Funeral dirge.

Yeah but too bad the show ended up going bankrupt which Halted for a second season there were more plans for these series and a second season according to the Creator he said he had wrote 96 scripts Roughly 7 seasons it is unknown what the scripts contain however SIF refuse to show it.

idk cause Bigg freeze was the last episode to be filmed I do think It was recorded and lost forever or it was never recorded due to bankruptcy but Im still wondering if they do have a script for the song but I'm thinking its with The TUGS exhibition refusing us to show stuff for no utterly reason.

Once-in-a-lifetime used to be very legendary and cool almost thia show would have been a huge successes with the Legendary Thomas the tank engine 👏 🙌 😎 but sadly nothing last forever it met its fate 😢😢😢😢 but very underrated and very good and rare i wish it was the old time and the past ❤️🩷🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🤎🖤😎😭🩶🤍
