The sweetheart unions don't care about the people. The tripartite alliance has shown itself to be toothless. Unemployment/Employment rate is wrongly calculated. There are people who are out of formal job but make money in informal sector. Those people are not recorded anywhere. Can anyone for example confidely say that he/she knows how many people work in taxi industry? Drivers, queue Marshalls, mechanics, car cleaners etc? We should stop calculating unemployment/ employment rate and focus on income earning opportunities. If I sell Tomatoes on the street coner, I am not employed but I'm making an income.

Such people are not counted. Let me assure you that my children will not suffer the way. I have put a plan for them. Whether they will be employed or not, they won't suffer.

South Africa need State led economy. No more obsession with Foreign Direct Investment and market-fundamentalism. We have been following Washington Consensus market oriented economic policies since 1994. Business (White people) did very well, creaming profits and increased the wealth of Apartheid Beneficiaries. Its time we ditch GEAR, and adopt State corporatism model.
Sometimes foreigners are taking these jobs because of the laziness on the side of the locals. Locals are also knowing very much about rights than performance
Talk about yourself bro, our people can't even afford proper education here, foreigners get cheap education in there country then come here for work or they buy illegal papers here and license ...we got to start banning foreigners or we will see many attacks like last time and its not cool cause its not them its our own government that's betraying us.
Our ppl aren't lazy the rates they offer makes them uninterested they perform well for 2 years and then they realize I'm worth more than this and start not caring about the job because there's no motivation speaking from experience.

That what SA get with the harsh immigration laws against diaspora. Many with skills and capital to invest along with new ideas and thinking. Opportunities to partner with locals with fresh thoughts and views. 3 month visa for diaspora, instead of a welcome visa.
