Love your videos man. Regular guy on a regular bike trying to figure it out on my local trails. Keep it up dude.
Thank you!!! Trying to "figure it out" is accurate, haha
I have the same colour, absolutely loving this bike and the looks it gets!!
Awesome!!! My girls call it The General (from Dukes of Hazzard). haha.
@@BIIIKES The General Lee......😉
@@gazg00 ehhhh, we'll leave it at just "The General" haha
This video makes me 100% certain of my top fuel 7 purchase today! Looks like a blast! I am also in the newark/white clay area and a beginner. What areas would you recommend for just starting out?
Awesome!! We should ride together some time. Lums Pond is great for just starting out. 6 to 7 miles of flow, roots and not too much climbing. White Clay would be next in line (bigger climbs and it gets FAST, haha). Enjoy the bike, and maybe I'll see you out there!
@@BIIIKES So, I ended up swapping the Top Fuel 7 for the Fuel 8 XT. I liked the beefier setup and it just felt more planted. I will definitely take you up on the ride offer! Would love to find a local crew that I can ride and learn with!
@@CrazedCookie327 Sounds good! I'm part of a FB group called "DelMarPa Area Mountain Bikers". Great, informative group. Some newbie in there and a lot of instructors too. Good stuff. All supportive. You'll see me posting in there as Todd Anthony
I've been enjoying your vids here and just recently checked out Lums Pond, really fun. I've done the outer loop a few times which is more my style, but also did part of the swamp trail which is a bit more technical. I'm right around the corner from white clay, and need to explore that more and you're videos are a great guide! Maybe I'll run into you out there (I followed you on Strava by happenstance while browsing segments).
Ah, nice!! I thought that was you!!
Do you have a FB group for 302 MTB? Would love to meet up with other riders. I ride a lot at Lums Pond but never been to White Clay. Lums has a lot of tree roots, this looks like it would be a nice change.
No FB group for 302, per se, but I am part of the DelMarPa MTB group on FB. Great group of guys and gals who share routes, sets up group rides, and just enjoys riding bikes 🤙
hi how often do you ride at lums pond
Hey, was just there today
I live in md and I am thinking of going to lum bond Saturday morning first time ride on a trail
Awesome! If it's wet I would stay off the trails until they're dry though. Don't want to create ruts (I help maintain the trails there). Whenever you're able to get out there, enjoy! Remember trail etiquette: hikers and horses have right of way, and always go slow and call out which side you're passing on. If you see a horse, pull over and let them walk past (bikes spook horses very easily). Good vibes all around 🤘
