I LOVE these kinds of videos, especially the longer ones!! It'd be so fun if you did this every time you de-kit, but I know it's EXTREMELY time consuming lol. Thanks so much for this!!
Yay❣️ I've been stressing over how on earth I was going to figure out the none-dmc numbers and had envisioned that I was going to be scanning my DMC chart one baggie at a time to find them! LOL. This makes it SO much easier and make much better sense. Thanks again for the solution to a problem for spares. You always seem to read minds and know w what we are all wondering how to do Keep them coming and as always...... Stay Blessed❣️😉😁🤠💐
That was quite the process. I listened while I am putting my spares containers together. Just finished through the 900s so on to all the 3000s and my 3rd container. Looking forward to seeing more of this. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you for keeping company while I was working in my kitchen. I love ur longer vids cos it means I can potter about doing my ordinary stuff while also learning & gaining ideas to work on my DP stuff. Also as I've only been doing DP for 6mths it gets me into good habits right from the get go 😍🤩
Have decided not to spend the time sorting non dmc drills. Collecting in a large container and hopefully find something to do with them. Looking forward to seeing what Meghan does with the craft items. 🌻🌟☕️😀💛👍
I find when doing this you need a good light because once you put these drills under a light it then looks different. I also use a dmc book to find the proper codes.
@@addmorezest I have a fraction of what you have so I might be lucky to get through them but fingers crossed for your sake that you will be able to see it empty.
Start with yellow, red, green, blue... anything else. Then sort each again: Yellow, yellow-ish, Whatever, Red, pink, orange, whatever... blue, light blue, bluegreen.. so on, and black, grey, white. anything else. Then after you/I have only the what-ever´s left... sort them as well as possible. I do this for everything I need to sort.. jan - jun and jul-des, so jan-mar, and apr-jun.. then jan, feb, mar, after that april, mai jun... and never sort in more than 3 (or 4) piles at once. Here I would start with light and dark. You should match the colors in the daylight. Some colors change under the electric lights.
Thank you so much and looking forward to your next video on how to match them with DMC numbers.

Best video yet! Love your organization, packing away, and setting up videos the most, but this one trumps them all!

Been waiting for this video YAY thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing for your process. I’ll be doing this from now on when letting down. Have a great day! 😀
Yes!!! I’ve been waiting for this vid!!!
Thanks for this vedeo. Looking forward for the next sorting one💎
Thank you this has definitely given me the incentive to sort mine and doing each time we dekit will make it easier.

Great idea! The rest of mine (after making these videos) are still in the original tub. LOL

My step son made me a light box
Thank you for the inspiration now I am going to go do something with mine next time I dekit
It's at least a start at dealing with them, I'm not sure if the tub will ever be fully empty though.

Thanks for this video. I really enjoyed it.. fabulous idea.
This is kinda like a game - guessing which pile she will put a color in.
Do you ever use a diamond art drill dmc colour chart to make this process quicker?
Yes I have, Part 2 I used a DMC Chart.
My problem is my canvas is 1-19 and color and the diamonds packs has the DMC numbers plus Other numbers

How do you sort 3d versus 5d drills or do you just mix them all
I mix them all. :)
🙂

Why do we have to watch you sort your color? This didn't teach me anything but thank you for helping all of us newbies!
You don't have to, its your choice, but thanks for taking the time to comment. 😎
Hello Rebecca, I just sent you an email with a attached DMC color chart in excel format. I hope that this helps. Lisa Marie.
Could u please send me one
