I think it is also good to bow down for the king and not just to shake hands with him when greeting him. People bowed down for Queen Elizabeth II. it is a tradition that should continue when you are greeting or exchanging pleasantries with the king. He is not an ordinary person to shake hands with when greeting him. I love that.
I could never , ever do the endless shaking of hands , listening to people who are often narcissists . Younger people know how to communicate and get to the point without clinging on to the poor King's hand .
Wonderful ecumenical gesture by the Governor of the C of E (the Bishops and Clergy and lay leaders of the Synod actually run the affairs of C of E), visiting a Jesuit RC Church. I noticed some other Eastern Rite Catholics and Orthodox maybe. The King took the time to visit with those helped by the Jesuit pastor's feeding and outreach programs to the homeless.
