Nothing beats the M12 Fuel Impact Driver. It's the go to tool, so versatile, capable and usable.
I never thought I'd love the M12 stuff as much as I do. They're so convenient for small jobs especially at home for me. The M12 fuel impact driver is a beautiful thing!
Or professional use where space is at a premium.
Enjoy the directness and efficiency in your getting information to us!
My first M12 purchase has been the Fuel Hackzall with a basic assortment of batteries (to augment any future M12 needs). A great lineup of tools to keep project work “light and tight” where needed, and will compliment my M18 needs nicely.
In the end, very affordable for filling in the needs/get the work done/punch list projects.
Love my m12 cordless screwdriver. I used it all the time for plumbing rough in’s so much more compact and able to fit it tight areas for putting up hangers for the piping.
Have an m12 hackzall and it makes cutting ABS also a faster during rough in. A good collection utilizes both m12 and m18 depending on the practicality of your situation.
My favorite M12 tools are the 1/4 square drive fuel impact wrench and the M!2 1/4 & 3/8 drive ratchets. They make automotive upper engine & trim work much easier with dragging an air hose around.
I like the M12 1/4in ratchet for under hood work with small fasteners.
Professional powersports tech and I have used the 3/8 ratchet everyday for over four years and love it. With the extended life batteries I only have to change them about once a week usually and it lets the ratchet stand up. Definitely a good investment for any of the m12 stuff.
You should do an updated version. The installation driver should be on every M12 top list
He speaks really well and at a rate my brain can keep up with. Thank you.
Like a newscaster lol
I'm sorry you sound like a fucking moron. 🤣
I run it at 2x speed in the settings, but if you have trouble with other videos you can run it at 0.75x or half speed
3/8 ratchet is my number one. The reason I started with the m12 lineup.
as a mechanic i use the m12 fuel impact driver, 1/4 and 3/8 ratchets, as well as the stick light daily... the tools have completely changed how i go about my day and i am lost without them now. to throw in a couple extra tools that i use frequently and love i would have to say the bluetooth speaker, and the heated jackets. great vids. and i think i might be putting the sander higher on my list of tools to buy.
Great video!. One of my favorites in the m12 lineup is the small radio. I used to have a Bosch, and that thing was like a brick to haul around. The M12 carries around very easily by using one of the hand grips on the side.
The two I use the most... the mini blower and 3/8 ratchet. Love those tools.
The m12 lineup is fantastic. Especially the 1/4 “ fuel impact driver. I rarely use my m18 anymore.. love how lightweight and compact it is all while producing plenty of torque and rpms for residential electrical work.
i got the m12 fuel screwdriver and it's superior to the impact.
@TaRgEt0ZeRo depends what you're using it for. If you're drilling then yes. If you're driving then no the impact is better in every way
The M12 Jig saw is my favorite.
You're a natural and amazing at your craft. Thank you!
I purchased the M12 battery powered polisher/sander and absolutely love it. Small light and powerful with an awesome warranty. Was less money than the Snap-On equivalent with a better warranty. Since purchasing that Milwaukee tool I have since purchased quite a few from the M18 Fuel line-up. The half inch impact, the three eights impact, the drill, and the handheld led flashlight kit. Love all of my my tools and can't wait to put them all to work to make me some more money.
I love the M12 fuel impact and M12 1/4" drive ratchet. I use both of them daily at the dealership I work for
I just picked up an m12 drill/driver and I love it. super lightweight for ceiling fan and window blind installs 👍. its also compact, so much so that some might think it's an impact due to it's chuck size. great for tight spaces.
The m12 and m18 lineup are brilliant! The impact guns 1/2 inch and 3/8 both amazing gear! The m12 true light is brilliant too! Ohh and the heated hoodie For the cold winter does the job! All with 3 year warranty!! Would not change from Milwaukee.
Just got the m12 fuel hammer drill/driver and impact driver with a free 3/8” m12 ratchet in a combo kit from HD. That impact driver is the best tool I’ve ever owned. I’m so impressed with the work it does in such a small package!
Best impact drill for almost all applications. The only time it has struggled was trying to screw down huge 8" lag bolts.
As a mechanic, the M12 Sticklight is my favorite, closely followed by the Fuel 3/8 impact.
DarkFox6211818
I agree on the sticklight, I wish it had a magnetic back and more than just the 2 detents.
The M12 version does have a magnet available separately, and doesn't have any detents.
I like the circular saw and the phone charger, then the hacksaw .. just started in the M18 fuel series, the 3/8 impact and the 1/4 impact driver. Really awesome tools.
I own Milwaukee corded n cordless too for over 40yrs, love there balance and especially the durability, I always check out there new tools..
My first M12 was the palm nailer. Love it. Using it to nail joist hangers for my deck.
thanks a lot I definitely enjoy your videos. I'm a Telco lineman and appreciate your in depth video reviews!
Two of my favorites are the M 12, 3 inch cut off tool and the the 1/4" right angle die grinder. These tools have lots of power and can handle the tough jobs!
The 3/8 Fuel Impact wrench is my favorite.. Will drive 3" screws into oak timbers and snap a 1/4" bolt like nothing.
I like the impacts, the vacuum, the power supply ,and the radio as I use them the most. Really want to try the bandsaw and the nailer
I have most of the M12 tools and would say my favorite is the M12 Fuel 1/4" drive Screwdriver. This is a versatile tool that with a set of hex backed drill bits allows the user to carry only one tool to that is light and very handy. This smaller footprint screwdriver has great ergonomics and 18 levels of torque. It drills and screws with finesse.
My second and third choice in M12 tools would be the Fuel 1/2" chuck drill driver and the impact driver. Both are great and used most often. I also agree the Fuel Hackzall is amazing and very powerful and useful. My last two tools would be the circular saw and the jigsaw. These are the tools I use the most.
Rod Brink I know you’re post is extremely old but just wanted to agree. I like the screwdriver only version a lot. I have the impact also but I find it’s overkill for a lot of situations and the regular driver is perfect!
As always, your reviews are nice and thorough. Great job!
i started my lineup with the m12 crown stapler and pin nailer. Love them both and very handy... my next purchase will be the stubby impact wrench and the impact driver.
The m12 impact has been one of my fav tools I've had for 8 years. Still going strong!
That’s awesome. Just got mine today for my new job. I’m excited to use it Monday
the m12 ratchet are such a joy to use i have both the 3/8 and 1/4,i have the 3/8 for the past 2 years using and abusing it everyday at the shop still working like new,i bought the 1/4 last summer
I really enjoyed this video and I totally agree with using a smaller circular saw because it's lighter and faster. Thanks for sharing!
The M12 3/8" ratchet is my favorite :-)
Yeah that ratchet is incredible...I use it everyday and couldn't be more happy with it!
I use that ever day
Its my best friend!
Just bought the M12 3/8 drive impact
Also have M12 drill
And quarter inch hex Drive really like them all
M12 fuel 1/4 impact driver is my favorite tool hands down
The drill and impact are invaluable shop tools at one of my jobs, great for light duty around the building as maintenance staff.
I'm a huge fan of the M12/M18 shop vac. Nice when I go to a job not to haul out my big shop vac. I had the dustbuster one first. Sadly, but not sadly it was stolen. Was not a fan. So I bought the larger vac. Love it. Also the medium M12/M18 bluetooth speaker it wonderful. Fantastic sound quality.
The M12 band saw (port-a-band) is awesome. I'm not a pro who uses it every day, but it has come in handy numerous times and is smoother, quieter, and more precise than a sawzall. Also, the M12 Fuel screw driver. I use it all the time.
I seriously love my M12 tools! they are excellent. I keep forgetting that the polisher is also a sander/die grinder. My little air compressor I've owned for 20 years never could keep up with my air die grinder so I have to get the milwaukee one. I use the business out of the 3 inch cutoff wheel M12 tool. that thing is amazing.
Great review! Precise, to the point, no bullshit. Good narration too. I'm just getting into the M12 line - I have 11 M18 tools so far. Love the Milwaukee product line. Thanks
Thanks! 👍
I really like the m12 electric ratchet. I've had it for awhile with 0 issues.
3/8" Stubby is my favorite M12 tool!
1/2*
@Mr602 same power. Only difference is whether your going to use 3/8 sockets or 1/2 sockets.
Great video. Thanks for the information. Not mentioned, but the LED stick light is great. Also, love my M12 heated vest. It's fantastic for hunting and ice fishing or any outdoor activity in the cold.
The M12 Fuel impact is great, I use it so much.
2:32 make sure you buy Milwaukee 48-59-1201 if you want this power supply !
it is the newer version and it will also allow you to charge the m12 battery by plugging it into a usb outlet.
the older version will not charge the m12 battery, only works as a power source for other items
I love the m12 fuel impact, I also own the new m12 half in stubby impact.
I love my m12 fuel impact hacksall. And the m12 fuel hammer drill the m12 circular saw rocks
The M12 3/8 stubby impact, the ratchets and the die grinder are my favorite in the m12 lineup
Agree with all 3
My friend likes the M12 drill/driver/hammer drill. I like my M12 Rotary Tool and M12 Jigsaw.
I really like the 3/8 Rachet. I’ve dropped it waste high and sometimes 6ft. It’s incredibly durable and for $99 dollars you can’t get a better deal
M12 compact band saw is my favorite of all my M12 tools. Wish it had a speed control though, as it cuts fairly slow compared to the M18 band saws.
M12 Stapler is pretty amazing! Circular saw is my favorite, but the M12 stapler is a close second.
M12 impact driver, 1/2 stubby impact and the 1/4in ratchet are my daily use tools
I have the 1/4 ratchet. It's a beast. Need me a lil stubby!
I like the M12 ratchet, FUEL impact driver, copper cutter, hackzall, and the LED flashlight that has the magnet on it.
the m12 mini band saw is my favorite
My top M12 tool is the soldering iron. Along with the 6ah batter its is a beast.
he sounds like a young Reverend Lovejoy from the Simpsons
I was thinking the exact same thing .
Lmao
No can't unhear.
I don't want to make fun of the guy... but where's he from that he says "SAWL" instead of saw? Is that a thing somewhere?
I absolutely love the hackzall great work
My top M12 pick would have to be the Cordless 3/8” Right Angle Drill 2415-20. I got it free with another tool and thought I'd never use it, I was very wrong. It's the most delicate and versatile drill I've ever had.
TheroiesofBlaze I love mine too. It also lets you drive screws in places a full sized screw gun won’t fit.
Thanks so much for this video! I recently bought the new 3.0 and 6.0 M12 batteries; they are incredible. That hopefully means that the M12 line will be around for a long time!
What??????😱😱😱 M12 6ah batteries? Where can I find em? I must have it!!!!!😁😁😁
I ordered them online at Home Depot. The 3.0 was $59 and the 6.0 was $89. I heard the 1.5 and 3.0XC are being phased out.
Thanks, on it!!!!!
I have a variety of M12 tools. I love them all. Recently bought the M12 Fuel stubby impact 3/8 and 1/2 inch. Can’t wait to use them.
I got the 3/8 stubby and I use it hell lots it's amazing way more then my M18 1/2 inch gun now
As a forklift technician. I own tons of M18 and M12 tools. My M12 ratchet and LED light are the tools that get used daily.
I like my right angle drill and the ratchet. Also have the hackzall and jigsaw.
I really love the m12 rotary tool.
Can you do a video on gasket prep and those roloc disks? So much conflicting info out there.
Great Video, it was very informative. Do you think you can do a comparison test of several small lithium ion screw drivers in the 4V to 8V range in the future.
Mine has to be all of the stubby impacts, the fuel impact driver and hammer drill. By far my go to when a tool is needed.
i really like my M12 3/8s ratchet!!great video thanks!!
man I miss his videos. wish he was still making them
Wishes do come true.....stay tuned.... 😉
Please review M12 ratchets, one speed 1/4in screwdriver, cutoff wheel, and under hood light. Great show! Thank you!
Try the M12 6" chain saw Hatchet! My favorite tool.
3/8 ratchet and impact also the new underhood light is awesome
Great suggestions but I love my basic M12 impact driver.
To me my favorite M12 is the compact Portaband. lightweight, doesn't take up a lot of room and can cut pretty much any size pipe as long as you roll the pipe as you cut it. needs a fuel brushless motor tho. my only gripe.
I like all of your picks w/the exception of the buffer. Thank you
Funny …..I actually have used that buffer more than any other m12 tool. I like it.
I've got 30 M12 tools. Don't know how or when but I got them lol. Great platform.
I like the M12 right angel drill. I do like your picks.
X'D the pose you started in cracked me up. lmao
The beauty of the M12 lineup is you can really tailor the tools to your trade/hobby. I primarily work with cabinetry and boxes, so my top 5 are:
1. Brushed 2- speed drill
2. Brushed 2-speed screw driver
3. 90 degree drill driver
4. Brushed jigsaw
5. Fuel brushless circular saw
Meanwhile, my electrical contractor uses the M12 system as well, but the main tools in his truck are:
1. Fuel Brushless Drill
2. Fuel Brushless Impact
3. Fuel Brushless Recip Saw
4. 90 degree impact
5. 90 degree drill/driver
The fuel series shocked me with how powerful their drills are. I install water heaters so I use mostly the impact drill and Milwaukee tube cutters, also they're PVC cutters. My tool napsap is pretty much all red inside its hard to figure out which handle to grab.
@@ryanminaker157 old, i know. Color code with colored tape!
@@aspenwagon04 Good idea jojo
Hands down, the best m12 is the fuel impact. Light, compact, and powerful.
M12 port ban is awesome!! Love the ratchet too! The hackzall falls short for me but is nice in a tight space
I have it. I've cut everything with it. Don't expect it to do the job of a big sawsall though.
Very clear video, on point, I just subscribed to your channel.
For doing assembly work the M12s are my go to tools.
My favorite would be the impact driver.
I got me the m18 mid torque gen 2 and m12 stubby for the hard places to get into. Both in 3/8, that's all you'll need really for a DIY guy.
Great comments here. Most seem to be from people who use these professionally. I have several M12 drills and drivers. As a homeowner, my brushed M12 drill/driver gets used the most by far. Small and will do 90% of home maintenance stuff. I pull out my Fuel hammer drill and 1/4" impact driver as needed. They all have a ton of use. Built ~2K square feet of deck and railing with my 1/4" impact. Boxes of 3" screws...no problem.
Not a big fan of the M12 Hackzall tools. Just too slow cutting for me. Like that they can be one handed. I just want more cutting out of them.
The M12 wire cutter is great, especially with the extra capacity battery. It will cut 500 kcmill cable multiple times before needing to be recharged.
M12 Fuel Stubby Impact. It can take off every bolt on my cars except the Axle Nut. It's a great tool that I use at home and when i go yarding.
Awesome list, +1 for 3/8 ratchet...non fuel version
3/8" Stubby is my favorite.
My favorite m12 tools are the rachet, lantern, rover flood light, power source, impact driver
M12 3/8 stubby impact is my favourite use it every day
I love all the m12 fuel tools, and the specialty tools such as the rivet gun, soldering iron, rotary tool,etc.. i just wished the higher ah battery i.e. 4.0 and 6.0ah were the same style as the 2.0 ah batteries, i don't like the square base
The m12 gen 3 hammer drill and impact are 2 fantastic tools. I've been installing stone facade on the front of a house and garage. The hammer drill was able to push a holesaw through the stone for a porch light and drilled 24 holes for 2 sets of shutters. The impact is ballsy enough to hang the stone whether going into the wood on the house or the predrilled block on the garage (yeah the hammer drill went right through the block as well, but if I didn't have so many batteries it wouldn't have made it the whole day). I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Truly amazing tools that have excelled at everything I've thrown at them. Up next I think I'm gonna get the finish sander, multi tool and maybe the sds, so I don't have to beat the brakes off my hammer drill on big jobs like this stone one.
As a pool and spa tech. the hackzall is a "cut and fit" dream. As often times, a 110 volt outlet is far away or indoors. And a big, heavy Sawzall is a maneuvering nightmare, at times.
I got my M12 fuel impact driver and drill/driver. I’m going to later expand my m12 collection with a fuel 3/8th stubby, fuel multi tool, and lantern. Then grow my M12 collection with a few more tools and eventually get some M18 tools.
