Agree. Miku arguably is a good enough singer to front the band (as Joan Jett ultimately proved to be in the Runaways) but I like the way she and Saiki blend.

Hard to know to how on point translations of her words from Japanese to English are, but have to say, her lyrics are pretty damn good even in possibly average translations. Her voice is very nice to listen to. Her backing vocals are a great foil for Saiki. I love Rock in Me. Lyrics are on point. Her vocals perfect for the song. Joyous voice and words with depth. Love the song. (How can one not love everything Band Maid, anyway!). The only thing she had to develop was her rhythm playing. Everyone starts somewhere. Clearly she has done the hard yards. Take her guitar out of any song nowadays, and the band is just not quite the band anymore. Her guitar work is as essential as anything else in the band, the feel is more important than any technicalities anyhow. Only certain critics - nobodies? - could find fault with her in any sense. Critics are not playing to packed houses as far as I know. NB ‘Time’ is damn good too.

Her voice is what it is, smooth and soft. She's not a rock singer, just like some people are not opera singers, but her backup vocals are spot on, and give her a song written for her voice and she sounds great. She could use some vocal coaching though. It would help her to maximize her vocal abilities and keep her from doing damage.
@@DMiyash248 Probably after performing for a few years with them, she is learning as good as they may look for the outfit, it's not the most comfortable/practical thing to wear while performing a lot of shows. I rather see her wear shoes that will be comfortable over style because killing your feet just to please some fans isn't worth it!
Lovely but I missed Saiki the whole time she left so Miku would sing solo. Saiki is a part of the soul of that band. Please don;t mess with it too much. I saw them in Bochum \m/

I actually didn’t realize Miku did the vocals on this song. I don’t know why. It’s not like she and Saiki sound similar.
They are their early songs. Miku-chan's vocal is a little unstable, but I like it. Looking forward to see them again at RSR fes 2019.
