Being half Norwegian/ partly raised in the Oslo area,I remember him being called the "prince of fog"by the Norw.media...He nearly always did this I believe, and still somewhat does to this day-As I do speak Norw.fluently,I guess I prefer him being interviewed in norwegian too..His English is excellent, but still his sec.language-some ppl may find it amusing/charming while others find it annoying/confusing.I'd think he'd make an interesting teacher in philosophy:-)At first, I thought he smoked too much weed for a while...Now I do see it differently as he actually made some fairly good points over the yrs.It may not fit media tho'as they usually wanna go straight to the point and most shows include time limits too.As a viewer tho'I find it somehow endearing that he brings the up loss of hearing for instance.A bit off topic perhaps, but he just can't help himself. Also, he seem to have a pretty good idea about the subject mentioned above so it sort of makes sense at the end of the day:)

@@rebeccajelenawang4306LOL … except I doubt Morten has ever smoked much weed - if any at all - because he doesn’t like feeling “altered.” That’s also one of the reasons he doesn’t drink alcohol. And, of course, by avoiding both of those substances, he’s doing his voice a major favor.

Incredibly, after all these years immersed in English media and even living in England for years,... he still mispronounces the 's' in words like "confusing" and "music". ;-)
By now, I think he must be doing it on purpose. :-D
Or maybe not=> Magne does it too. It could be a Norwegian thing. I wonder if they realize.
(And now of course I have to wonder what I myself may be mispronouncing in solidarity with my entire nation without ever realizing it. Because if I do, this is clearly a case of the pot calling the kettle black. :-D Well I can only hope it sounds as good...)

It is definitely his/the Norwegian(Oslo area/south east Norw.)accent.(BTW heard some Aha's earlier interviewes recently and their English was really good back then(80's/early nineties)I think his swedish wife(Camilla?) had their children over there too.I think both him and Mags are unaware of these tiny flaws"Being half Norwegian myself, ppl tend to ask me if I'm from the Isle of Man, Wright or some other isle. Most Scandinavian ppl(Or ppl from the Netherlands,Finland, Belgium...most of them prefer sort of an American accent.Met this bloke from Scotland once, thought his accent was sooo charming(Probably because he was too lol.) Morten, Mags and everyone else should keep their accents. The way you smile, laugh walk, talk, think, express yourself in general...I believe that's what make most ppl unique in the first place✌🏼🌺🤲🏼🦋
