Use sandbags. You can actually reach the weight cap on the wheelbarrow that way. You can also use the "pour" ability on the sandbag to get whatever weight you want out of them, up to 20kg. Also, animal skin pants can handle 10kg, as can the animal skin jacket and the pilot jacket. Those pants have a small inventory, but you can get a 10kg sandbag in them. ...oh, and improvised wheelbarrows weight 20kg less than the real ones, though both have the same inventory weight cap, which means you can get your improvised one up to 380kg, but the real one to 400kg.

It seems like nonsense to me, I've been doing this stupid thing for days to gain a pittance of muscles and I can't enjoy the game because I want to have more muscles, they should do something to make it more interactive to gain attributes with your character like they did with the new bunkers.

Yep! That all accurate as my way. But some small weight I used PET Bottle.

Exhaustion/Hand Abrasion not too much effective anymore you can do it for a while.
PS. My ServerSetting disableExhaustion=0
this the best way but it still to slow rather chose to buıld muscle ın real life

If hungry, eat. When thirsty, drink. Go stock up on canned tuna fish for protein. And get some critical thinking skills while you're at it.
