      Totally agree! Why doesn’t anyone else make live feeling backing tracks that build!? It’s so helpful with listening, as well as getting better at playing with some intensity.

    The MOST value from a Patreon sub I've ever gotten!! Doesn't matter if it's free on RUclips, this content is worth the support.
    A+ as usual! I low key was hoping you'd go back and update some of the first tracks you did, the drummer sounds great!! Keep it up as always!

      @@JeffWilliamsGuitar I always thought it was Boston Garden but apparently it was Worcester Centrum. I'm from the area too. I grew up in Duxbury (near Plymouth) and I live in Duxbury currently. Do you live in Boston or the suburbs? I have a GD tribute band that was playing at Rivershed in Scituate once a month up until coronavirus came along. btw I tried to private message you but I couldn't figure out how lol

      Thanks! 90's Phish is my favorite. Yeah, one of the improvements on this version is it's not me on the keys! He's playing a rhodes and when he plays organ (on other tracks) he's got a real hammond with lezly speakers. It adds so much!

    Are there any Phish backing tracks for keyboards? Meaning I’m a keyboard player and just want to play with drums, guitar and bass? Thanks and sounds great!

    • @JeffWilliamsGuitar
      @JeffWilliamsGuitar  3 года назад

      Hey Tony, I haven't made any tracks specifically for keyboardist. But I do have all the multitracks available on my Patreon page. People download them, throw them in a recording program and the mute the keys track. Most don't have lead guitar but I did just start adding that about 10 tracks ago and plan to keep it up for all future ones. www.patreon.com/jeffwilliamsguitar

    Jeff, these backing tracks are superb. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.
    1. Are these tracks based on specific performances of the song (and if so, can you tell us which performance), or are they more of a general jam in the style of the song.
    2. What gear are you using to create them? ie. What DAW, and are you using virtual instrument plugins (if so, which ones) or the real instruments?
    Cheers and keep up the great work.

    • @JeffWilliamsGuitar
      @JeffWilliamsGuitar  3 года назад +1

      Hey thanks Justin! Don't mind at all.
      2. Easier if I answer this one first. I started out doing everything myself with midi keys and drums. (there's an older Reba one) but now I've got a drummers and keys player (he often will play a hammond with a lezly cab or a real rhodes like he does here)
      1. I used to just do my own thing but now with the live drummer pick specific versions. Only because we're playing remotely. This one is referencing Star Lake 98 (also Wolman and Limb by Limb) I love that show! Have some stuff coming out soon that refernces Clifford Ball ones.

    This should really give people some new respect for Trey here - sure I can find some cool things to say soloing in this mode, but can I do it for TEN MINUTES probably not! I petered out after about 6 lol

    I like how you describe it as a F mixo, which it is, but is't really a B flat 7 note scale. you just do the b flat scale on the neck. that's it. Don't get too crazy about it, know your diatonic scales, even if you are bad at targeting you will get better, once you can play those scales then you work on targeting, and playing triads and chord tones, I admit I am not good, buy you will be, you will start hearing things, pay attention when you hear a good note, a good guitarist is not making things up, a good guitarist knows what to play.
