Facts. These breakers are bullying and extorting this hobby and the sad part for regular people buying into these have such a low percentage of hitting anything because the breakers have silent partners in on every break to better their odds of cashing in on the big hits while unsuspecting victims pay the costs. It's like going to the carnival or state fair and trying to win the stuffed animals
Wouldnt even matter if the hobby shop shoppers quit buying to try and lower prices. O'Breakers rule
In a way I'm glad it has made me quit the hobby, as I was spending too much money every month, and being disappointed by how much I was wasting on crap.

Better off taking that 1000 bucks you just spent on this and sticking it in a S&P 500 ETF or Mutual fund. I can guarantee you won’t lose 900 bucks in 10min

If I flip a coin, my odds of winning are 50/50. In finance, a 50/50 proposition for an investment project is DOA. Meaning, it's not worth taking a dollar out of your pocket b/c in the end you'd break even at best. The odds on these box rips are way smaller than that. It takes a lot of courage to do what you do buddy. Especially when, the product yields no return. As they say, those are the breaks.
And this is why I stopped collecting in 2019 lol

As much as these boxes cost, you’d be better off spending that $1000 on the cards you want and avoid the floor. 9/10 boxes are not worth it. High reward my arse.

I love ripping for the fun of it but yeah most of the time you're lucky to even get 15% value back.
Retail is king
If your just getting a bunch of whatever to nothing, 30 bucks is better than a 1000. But sparkles and numbered sparkle cards.. it's worth it! lol

I remember my first girl.....Think she banged me out of pity cause I was already out of high school. Within 2 years I was specializing in cougars out of Marina del Rey, CA. Nobody wished me any luck after that first. Made my own luck....
So the moral is start small and move into high rent after you get your feet wet first. My first hobby box ( after getting back into it in 2020 like a lot of yahoos) was Score Hobby.

The worth of the cards don’t match the price of the product. I mean Aaron Glenn auto as a Jets LEGEND!? And the card is only worth 10$ because Aaron Glenn was a good player but far from a legend lol.

Man you’re way low on values. Fomo period but just looking at the Coleman silver the couple sold are $22-30. They’ve been very high since it’s new prizm but putting estimated value at $5 with your following I’m sure watching this kind of hurts values at least for the time being.

@ Hey, works out in sellers favor for about the first month or so. Seems like especially with prizm silvers and # stuff. Silvers always drop when retail comes out. That Herbert in your other rip was a great hit too, congrats on that one and couldn’t have been more fitting!
