So a couple questions for Don come to mind 1) What is the forum he is on? I hope it is not stampboards because the admin there I hate to say is insufferable 2) Since Don mentioned his health, what steps has he taken so that if he passes his work and content will not be lost?
I use the Stamp Identifier app. Was that app made before or after March 2021? Do you guys happen to know who created that app? It would be interesting to have that creator on as a panelist.💌
Stamp shops are almost extinct. Stamp shows not as numerous as 50 years ago.Linn's Stamp News not as many subscribers etc. There still are quite a few public auction houses. They are doing well, because many elderly collectors, are either selling their collection or their heirs are. That leaves online auctions. Ebay is the largest. It has helped keep stamp, coin, record etc.collecting alive. This is especially true with younger folks who prefer it to other venues. Philately has changed much, since my mother bought me a beginner's album, for my 10th.birthday back in 1959.

@@roger0929 great, thanks.
Couldn't agree more with you regarding stampboards. Had a bad experience with the moderator and never went back many years ago.
