Derbew, Assistant Professor of Classics at Stanford University, joins host Prof. Mark Anthony Neal to discuss her first publication, "Untangling Blackness in Greek Antiquity," printed by Cambridge University Press in 2022. The book is a winner of the 2023 PROSE Classics Award from the Association of American Publishers.
