Am I the only one who finds these interruptions more funny than scary? Also, if Vrillon is an alien, he sounds like a pretty nice one. Reminds me of the Autobot leader, which is why I think it would have been HILARIOUS if instead of Vrillon, we had heard Prime's voice.

Fun Fact: at the same time as War of the Worlds there was also a big game on the radio, so many more people were listening to that instead. Newspapers certainly jumped to report it as if it caused a great panic due to radio being their competitor.

War of the Worlds album is a classic id recommend anyone 2 go 2 the concert Jeff Wayne still tours it brilliant I grew up with it in eary 80s, I remember bringing the album over 2 my friends house when they were all on Acid freaked them out cause its so farout/tripy🤣🤣 but brilliant music👍☘
