Well the reason that your fan base is so negative is because people like Paul and ESPN put you guys in such a high regard before the season and throughout that when reality actually hits it's a lot difficult for a lot of your fans to take.. I don't think some of these analysts or podcasters aren't realistic with Packers fans or even Vikings fans for that matter but especially Packers fans.. so when you put a team on such a high regard and they don't reach it then you have a lot of fans not believing and the team.. I don't think I've ever seen a negative segment about this team on this particular channel.. it's ridiculous...🙄
The fan base is negative because GB has not proven they can overcome good teams. Games against SF still haunt this fan base. I personally fell into the belief that GB would be back in top of the division. It's not the losing it's having hope that kills ya.

So in reality all I'm saying is that this should have been a possibility of theory before the season even started.. but they wanted to crown the Packers as a division winners and talking about they're going to win the Superbowl and all.. and that's just unrealistic compared to what this team has shown

Since David Montgomery went down, Jahmyr Gibbs has rushed for 100+ yards each game and 150+ all purpose yards. Not including the yards from our other backs. We drafted Jahmyr Gibbs in the first round (number 12 over all) for a reason. The narrative that the Lions lost anything in our run game without David Montgomery is HIGHLY false.
I’ll tell you guys a little secret. Some of us Packer fans hate other Packer fans 🤫. Those Packer fans that cry too much make us all look bad. The Packers have what it takes to beat anybody
couple notes: - Darnold looks like a franchise QB to me. He looks like Goff 2 years ago with better escapability. He makes 1 or 2 brain fart plays a game, but that can be cleaned up. Goff is a smidge more accurate.... but I'd trust Darnold to run the Lions offense. - I'd take the Lions secondary over the Vikings. Branch and Joseph are pro bowlers. Branch is so versatile. Ifeatu Melifonwu returned last week, and while I'm sure you guys don't know who he is, he's actually a really good Safety/Nickel. He's our blitzer. He was gonna be our starting Nickel but was injured for the first 15 games. You'll see him and Branch swap positions throughout the game. - Lions LBs are where our D is breaking down... but I think we'll be getting Anzalone back this week. That's huge. It'll be a good game. I'm not gonna make a prediction. I could make an argument for either team. GO LIONS!
As a packers fan I just wanted the confidence. To be 0-5 is 0-5 no matter how much moral victory you put on it and we will be on the road and unless we get help from Dallas we have a path to the superbowl that goes through 1. Philadelphia, 2. Detroit then 3 Minnesota or the Rams and the only team that we beat in that equation the rams we only beat them because they weren't healthy at the time. Ik were a young team and maybe there's time to grow but if the 2010 packers SB run taught me any is that you don't take opportunity for granted because after 2010 in all of Rodgers time in green bay we never got back, for whatever reasons. I just feel like we're in that window to strike and get 1 because you never know how what can happen
Next year with good cap space in free agency & another season together for our nucleus the window is well open! Enjoying this year for everything we can squeeze out of it coz there’s better teams than us in our division.. Grateful we didn’t relapse like young teams sometimes do
Last year was playing with house money. This year is such a let down with all the new talent coming to GB. I personally am so sick of watching the non existent pass rush. I'm excited to see if more talent comes to GB.
Yep if you have a playoff spot you have a chance. People are putting way too much into one bad game. They’ve been playing great the second half of the season. If anything, that bad game will inspire them to be better come playoffs. Not giving up until the seasons over. 12-5 is a great season if they win next week.

Before last week the last time the Vikings beat a playoff team was sept 29 at Green Bay (same team as last week.) There schedule has been week it will be a good game for sure but Minnesotas record reflects there easy schedule outside of the division

Go Pack Go, all I wanted to see this season was for more cohesion and even through the early Love injury and the way that we have been in all but one game this season shows that we are swinging well with the other teams. We have a bright future and locked in the playoffs well before we did last year and that should be seen as improvement. I can't wait to see the playoffs this year they all feel like they will be interesting (sans maybe the Texans and Broncos if they are not able to hold it all together).
The issue with your guys take about the packers and there being hope is this: Yes I believe we can beat any team in the NFL, yes Love can get hot and take over a game. BUT we will likely have a path to the SB of Eagles, Lions, Vikings. The three teams we have lost to 0-5 record. The storyline is insane. We could need insane consistency that we have not shown this whole year. Love the pod! I do think you guys saying Darnold and Goff are 50/50 is just wrong. Goffs experience in big games and his numbers this year are all better than Darnolds, with a more difficult schedule. Darnold has been a great revelation but simply has not played in an environment like what Ford Field will be like on Sunday night. I think Jefferson by far the best receiver on the field, but Addison just isn't comparable to St. Brown and is closer numbers-wise to Williams than people think. Vikings run game doesn't even compare to the Lions either, not in the same stratosphere.
Being a Packers fan, I think it is reasonable to be a little negative right now. Going into that game against the Vikings, I honestly thought that we should win. We obviously didn't and now we will likely have to play 3 of the top 5 teams in the entire NFL on the road to even make it to the Super Bowl. All teams that we have lost to (our only losses but still). I'm just not as optimistic as I was a couple of weeks ago on how far we will be able to make. If we do make a run, it will be straight out of a movie - beating the teams that you lost to earlier in the year to make it to the Super Bowl to possibly stop a team's chance at the first ever NFL 3 peat. If that does happen, this could be the best story of a team's journey in I don't know how long.

The way to beat the lions is press the line of scrimmage and get your hands on the wr/teams and reroute them. Their short passing game needs to be thrown off of their timing. I know Goff can make all the throws, but rarely passes the ball more than 10yds downfield
As a Packers fan our fan base is very ungrateful and have their expectations too high always. Because of the history Vince Lombardi, Farve Rogers. All of the Green Bay Lore there is alot to live up to. And the fan base tends to overreact

I don't think they're the bucks are that good the Lions beat them three times last year, and they lost in that second game real early in the season with the lions were playing that good., they look good but they're not, I wouldn't give that quarterback too much praise. It’s called Entitled Town for a reason. I don’t understand the doom and gloom segment of Packers fans. They might say they’re just being realists, but they’re discounting how well this team can play. Only one team wins a superbowl each year. It’s hard to do. Just root for your team.
There are realistic Packers fans - me for instance - who think our chances of making it to the SB this year is close to zero and yet root like crazy for them during the games. This is NFL football - crazy things like major upsets happen regularly. Do 4 advantageous upsets in a row happen to one team in the playoffs? No. One game at a time.

Me too but only because of all the Lions injuries. If the Lions defense wasn’t decimated by injuries imho they were the elite team of the NFL by a comfortable margin.
Need to stop the Lions a couple times --on the other side the Lions need just a few game-shifting turnovers and/or sacks. Which they're good at. Anzalone returning could be big. The game will come down to who is better at getting those few stops/turnovers ---maybe a missed kick, etc.
I think home field advantage here will be material. I don't think Darnold will have ever played in such a loud, intense, playoff -like environment. Fans will probably disrupt a play or two.

I think the Vikings are decent. I expect them to beat Lions this week. I expect Vikings to lose their first game in playoffs & I expect Lions to win the SB.

My fantasy team won because of two players Baker Mayfield and Amon St Brown. Both consistently outplayed projections almost every week

I don't think they're the bucks are that good the Lions beat them three times last year, and they lost in that second game real early in the season with the lions were playing that good., they look good but they're not, I wouldn't give that quarterback too much praise. Actually I think the bucks are the weakest team in all of the NFC, maybe the command might lose to them. They suck.

It’s called Entitled Town for a reason. I don’t understand the doom and gloom segment of Packers fans. They might say they’re just being realists, but they’re discounting how well this team can play. Only one team wins a superbowl each year. It’s hard to do. Just root for your team.
There are realistic Packers fans - me for instance - who think our chances of making it to the SB this year is close to zero and yet root like crazy for them during the games. This is NFL football - crazy things like major upsets happen regularly. Do 4 advantageous upsets in a row happen to one team in the playoffs? No. One game at a time.

Need to stop the Lions a couple times --on the other side the Lions need just a few game-shifting turnovers and/or sacks. Which they're good at. Anzalone returning could be big. The game will come down to who is better at getting those few stops/turnovers ---maybe a missed kick, etc.
I think home field advantage here will be material. I don't think Darnold will have ever played in such a loud, intense, playoff -like environment. Fans will probably disrupt a play or two.

I"m not a negative fan if I believe the Packers are not as good as the Vikings or Lions. I hate the Vikings more than anyone in the world and root for the Packers through thick and thin. Any Packer fans who root for the Vikings against the Lions is probably a band wagon Packer fan. They probably don't know the history of the Viking/Packer rivalry and don't know very many Vikings fans or players.
