my big bro said he loved the original anime version of this drama.
The play is adapted from the Japanese classic manga of the same name, drawn by original Yumi Horita and Takeshi Obata. They retain almost every naming from Japanese to Chinese. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

This drama left me speechless. It is so beautiful and meaningful. But it's just so painful yet joyful. My eyes were swollen after watching it. I think I am crying at every scene whether the scene is happy or sad. Then Chu Ying left without actually saying goodbye to Shi Guang and I lost it! Every word he spoke when he bade farewell while Shi Guang was sleeping hits me hard. So hard that I even typed it, which is stupid because I cried again reading it.
I cried alot too on that scene 😭
one of the successfull live action, acting, cast, visual effect...top notch...

This is such a masterpiece..which became a hidden gem just cuz there wasn't much advertising done. Hope this hidden gem gets to shine and become well known..in my opinion it's almost at par with the Untamed..and their bromance is really unique and sweet.. I want to forget the whole drama and rewatch
Yeah, im agree with your opinion, the hu xianxu and hou fenshu acting was great,but why this couple not be booming enough like the untamed couple do....so curious about it...

Coming back to this ost after years gives me a nostalgic feeling 🤧. I miss myself watching this and this drama is still my favourite. I hope I'll be able to find as good as this drama again (I've never seen any drama as good as this🤧).

I really love the series itself.... my first time to be a fan of chinese series. I love the story and all the cast. I've finished twice from beginning to end and it did not bore me at all. hoping and wishing for a second season....

@@fuzzstation One word to One word translation from Japanese to Mandarin for song lyric is impossible since each single word in Japanese have more syllables than Mandarin. If you try, It Will sound like Pre-2016 SNH48's songs.
Usually they tried to suit the pronunciation and rhyme as well in the song, so the meaning could also slightly different from Japanese. And yes, Japanese syllables... that three types: Hiragana Katakana and Kanji 😓😅
@@fuzzstation What I mean isn't about Japanese writing system but spoken Japanese, for example Japanese sentence for I love you is "Boku wa Kimi wo Aishiteru", or can be shortened to "Kimi wo Aishiteru", it's literally longer than Mandarin "Wo Ai Ni".
Umm, maybe. I am not a master of Chinese language yet also not Japanese learner. For worse, not even fluent in English. So I got your point. It is just like: 我对你有爱 I have love to you (literally) = 我爱你 I love you. But the second is generally used.
