In the spring of 2009, Dr. Benjamin Gilmer takes over a country medical practice in Fletcher, North Carolina. His predecessor is no longer running the clinic because he’s serving a life sentence for murdering his father. But, as Benjamin learns more about the case, he begins to wonder if the man is truly a cold-blooded killer or if there’s another explanation for his terrifying crime.

It’s so sad and disgusting how mentally ill people in this country are ignored or treated very badly. There’s so many people living on the street that might accept help but the only people that would do this are volunteers. They need to have separate hospitals just for the mentally ill with well trained doctors, nurses and therapists. They must learn the proper way to interact with patients, certainly don’t treat them like they’re babies or dumb. If I had the money I’d love to build a hospital like this but unfortunately there’d only be one. Obviously, our system really bothers me. Not sure how the VA is but in an interview it sounded like they were good to you when you honorably discharged. They better be after serving this country!! You almost died! I’m glad you are doing well and extremely successful. You are an incredible story teller 😻

Frontal lobe accidents always worry me bc it seems like the person has a good chance of acquiring the opposite of their normal, pre-injury personality. Violent people become passive, while peaceful people become violent or very easy to anger, often acting recklessly, dangerously...

Please see if Vince had medical disability insurance in place when his Huntington’s became sympomatic. Most physicians have private insurance and it may be retroactively effective. This could pay for a private facility to get him the help he needs.

Wow a connection came to me. People being greedy and wasteful causing over abundance of stored food would attract foraging creatures. Sadly most people living comfortably are guilty of this. In USA studies have shown on the average 40% of food is wasted😔

Don’t be, millions of people around the world are on it and other meds just like it, just don’t stop taking them when your ready too, (not that it would cause this) but myself have quit antidepressants cold turkey before and it isn’t pleasant, when you wanna come off just make a plan with your GP about tapering off and you should be absolutely fine, just whatever you do, stay away from doctor google!!! ;) you got nothing to worry about 😊

Life isn’t a bowl of cherries! I don’t consider it fun at all. But, I do have enjoyable times and I keep those memories. Nature, meditation, music, art, history, dancing also gives me some joy. But the pain involved in the every day is a bit much in my opinion.

Withdrawals don't help, though. I had severe withdrawals when stopping Lexapro after taking it for a decade. I was constantly severely disassociating and barely felt like a person anymore. People need to talk more about how much these drugs change your brain.

@@suryadas6987 lol what quack of a doctor would say that seroquel doesn't have any withdrawal symptoms? That's a horrible drug to come off of. I'm sorry you had to deal with that, I hope you're doing better now. It's like people refuse to believe how horrible coming off these drugs can be unless they've personally been through it.

@@PeteyThePenguin Right?!? He was trying his best to look perplexed and say there should be no withdrawal. It was absolutely horrible. I told him I quit it cold turkey because a couple years of a pharmaceutical lobotomy was enough and I gained 70 lbs which was tough to lose after the fact. It took nearly a year to feel almost normal again. Thank you for your kind reply and dialog. I appreciate it. 😀🫡 Edit: I am doing *much* better these days, thanks so much. 😉 💪

    CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION?
Why can't an American make a tic-toc like platform that promises you can switch from tic-toc and retain all your subscriptions, all your comments and reviews, and lose nothing? Why don't YOU do it and become a billionaire? Maybe you can offer some kind of little perk (allowing the shorts to be slightly longer? Offer an improved advertising for signing off the Chinese owned tic-toc to the American one? Hell call it Toc-Tic so no one gets confused? Make TicToc illegal in the US, just replace it. Obviously there's a desire for it.
