Thanks for posting one of Morag's most spiteful moments - following one of her most emotional ones. She was (and is) such a layered, complex woman. 1989 and 2008 are the only years she ever really got any exploration as a character.
@Sheri451 Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cornelia Frances is such a great actress, and Gary Down turns in a lovely, sensitive performance.
So just read about it. Nigel is apparently a blind friend of Moray which was why he said I can smell your perfume and are you sitting in the dark? Just assumed it was because she wasn't answering him and her saying why should it bother him? Makes sense too why Nigel stumbled around after she moved furniture. Was that Bobbi at the start, her daughter? Always heard of Bobbi and Pippa after she died. Martha her great niece brought up years later that Morag was the same, bitter and twisted. She must never have got over not having kids although vile for saying an innocent child ruined her life
As fare as am aware they’ve never killed off Morag so am not sure if they are planning to at some point or weather they’ll bring in a new actress to play her
@@Renwick19 I noticed they haven't mentioned her but why bring someone in after 30 years? No one would like it. It wouldn't be like replacing Pippa, Irene or Flynn. That was only after a few years. It wouldn't make sense

Also, the writer of this episode wrote much of the Blake/Meg story.
I remember Morag breaking down so vividly - yet I'd completely forgotten her booby-trapping the room like that! Such a good story and great acting.
Why did she do that
Who was Nigel and what was the relationship between him and Morag,
I think he was her PA - but also a friend, and someone who understood her more than most. Celia fell in love with him.
