The fact bts had to make their own variety show bc of how much hosts were disrespecting them on different shows sucks. I get why some may think the burger thing wasnt big i think it was added onto all the other instances
With the black rose thing, she’s known as not fitting the Korean beauty standards, there was even a petition to kick her out of her group. One of peoples issues with her was that she was too dark. They were making a comment about her skin colour. 9:42
Monsta X is a 3rd gen group, most 3rd gen male groups are either in the military and doing solos which is currently happening with Monsta x right now. They were at their prime in 2018-19 globally. They’re still very well known in Asia, Latin America, and the US. Monsta X is considered a masculine group, with matured and unique visuals. They’re also know for their r&b, rap and monsta x sound music. No other group can replicate their energy. Now here’s the tea 🍵 Back in 2019, one of the most popular member Wonho got targeted with false allegations of drug use leading him to leave the group. Shownu was also targets but stayed. Fans noticed that as soon as they made it to American, things shifted. Some fans believe companies prayed on Monsta X downfall and target them as well. K-pop was getting recognition in the US and the competition is scarce. Fans were outraged by wonho leaving the group. Wonho eventually debuted as a solo artist and was recently released from the military! Many fans are loyal to wonho and Monsta x . They’re still hang out privately.
That is some interesting lore it’s crazy how you can lose your career over false allegations. Was it proven false because that’s some genuine bs. Do you think we should react to them or Wonho’s solo stuff?
Hi, I’ve always recommended Monsta X to people! Most popular- ‘Shoot Out’ (w/wonho) Recent- ‘Beautiful Liar’ Best- ‘Gambler’ Honestly I love them all! Wonho solos Popular- ‘Open Mind’ Best- ‘Lose’ Can’t wait for his performance in Jingle Ball The lore actually goes crazier 2019 was one of the worst years for K-pop. I tried my best to keep it short, but let me try to explain Wonho situation more in debt. Han Seo Hee, her villain story is being a failed idol. Reputation is exposing private information a ruining idols careers. Getting sued by others for defamation and sent to prison for drugs and marijuana used. Seo hee & their partner Da Eun would later talk about wonho and his past people he hung out with as a teen and sent to juvie. Accusing him for drug use and theft- ALLEGEDLY. This was a huge allegation. His company declined the claims. Wonho apologized and left the group, not wanting to ruin Monsta X reputation. Police later investigated Wonho for using drugs illegally. Wonho corroborated and cleared his named. His company then announced his future solo career. (This wouldn’t happen without the fans support honestly, protesting and signing petition) Sorry for being long
@ Nah it’s not “long” I enjoy reading comments. We definitely take the recommendations. As for the controversy I mean calling it controversial only gives credence to the clinically online folk. Really shitty situation all around.
Nah bts did a series in LA i belive, but their staff pranked them by staging a whole kidnapping, idk if it’s scripted but i felt so uncomfortable just watching clips i never saw the whole thing. This was way before they got big. Have you guys seen sasaeng content? Thats the really horrifying shit.
@@FMTHEFUTURE Wikipedia: A sasaeng or sasaeng fan is the South Korean term for an obsessive fan who acts in ways that invade the privacy of Korean idols, drama actors, or other public figures in the entertainment industry. One of the most notable activities associated with sasaeng fans is stalking. The term sasaeng comes from the Korean words sa (사; 私) meaning "private" and saeng (생; 生) meaning "life", in reference to the fans' intrusion into celebrities' private lives.
Yes that whole show was scripted but some parts like, them not knowing that they're going to get kidnapped was all real bcs I watched the whole show and the members were terrified especially younger members.
BTS were disrespected on multiple shows just bcs they were from a smaller company and they weren't making the same type of music as other k-pop groups, they were into hip-hop from the start.
the jungkook incident wasn't scripted at all. it's actually a really fucking petty story behind the video that would piss you off even more. this was before they became as big as they were now, and they've even stopped going on korean variety shows for this reason, but show hosts would use them for views and then publicly humiliate them on the same show. just some added context, jungkook was late because he was buying these burgers for them. he was late because he was buying burgers for THEM and they did this. during the show, they had a segment where viewers were able to vote for who they thought should receive benefits and army's being army's, they flooded the voting poll so much that jungkook felt pressured to ask them to stop voting for him after seeing how the rest of the cast reacted negatively. fans were also rightfully pissed after cast members were allegedly caught glaring at jungkook during the viewer voting as if it was his fault people were voting for him. after the burger incident, you could easily tell that afterwards, he wasn't the same for the remainder of the show.
Ahh really that’s annoying to hear. They’re kinda abusing his kind nature and that’s gotta be one of the worst things you can do. Why even invite the guy atp.
