I don’t really comment that much on here but I just want to say that you are such an inspiration and a confidence builder for lots of people out there. I never knew you started going on solo trips like this around the same time as I started doing them and to see that you are showing that it is okay to making solo plans and not always hang out with people, is so lovely ☺️

This was just so wholesome and made me want to step out of my comfort zone. Makes you realise how much time you can spend worrying and missing out on the good and simple things in life and that there’s nothing wrong with spending time alone. So uplifting to watch. I love how relatable and kind hearted mark is in every aspect even down to appreciating the little jams and a loaf of bread being left for him 💕
This video has made me want to drive out to different little towns here in Germany while my boyfriends at work and just explore by myself. I sometimes forget how nice it is to get out by yourself. I used to always take myself on days out when I lived back home.

Hi Mark! Living in Kent myself for pretty much my whole life, it definitely makes you forget how lucky you are to be somewhere so peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you for making me re-appreciate where I live, and for helping so many people find their inner confidence. It isn’t bad or selfish to have alone time and trips away by yourself, even if some people think it is…glad to see you glowing and loving life in 2022☺️🍃⭐️

Watching you do this gave me the confidence to take my kids out without my partner on days trips to the zoo, swimming etc when it was the summer holidays, Instead of waiting for the weekend when he was off! My anxiety just wouldn’t let me go alone with the kids but watching your videos I just said f**k it 😁❤️

Mark darling! I love you to bits, but here's a little piece of constructive criticism: your intro and outro songs are SUPER loud in comparison with the sound of the actual video so I always have to turn the volume way down in the beginning (and then I can't hear you when the video starts), so I reckon a bit of sound editing would be great! Just my two cents.

Omg yes Mark I totally get it, it’s so much easier to warm up than it is to cool down. I prefer my bedroom to be cold so I can sleep with the covers on. I have to sleep with them on and when it’s too hot it’s difficult, I manage it, but it’s hard. I love being cosy x

I love escaping to the mountains in a rustic cabin high up in the Georgia hills. Smelling the fresh air, sitting in front of a real fire. Cabin isn't too rustic, comes along with a hot tub and jacuzzi. I though enjoy it with others, family of course. Game of pool, cards. Cooking and eating together, watching the nature around us. Ahhh been over 2 months, time to book again! :)

I just moved from Canada to Australia for my masters and it’s been a really hard change with a lot of things going “wrong” (luckily all pretty small things but the stress adds up haha) and this was such a nice reminder of how we can do big things, things that are out of our comfort zone!! Really needed this today so thank you💛💛
Firstly, Mark, when I hear your opening song and see the images, it puts a smile on my face…whoever did that opener for you is BRILLIANT! Secondly, you chose an AMAZING cottage at which to stay…as you said, it had everything you might need..what lovely, thoughtful hosts! Thirdly, you wandering around in the dressing gown was absolutely the cutest and sweetest thing..you know how to relax! This trip did inspire…the thought of being in the country relaxing, is a wonderful dream I want to make happen. Stay well and happy.🥰❤️

I've done solo travels forever and I prefer them. I have totally felt the same coziness, freedom, and relief that you felt when I stayed at a cabin in the country. Something about being away from the city is so peaceful and zen. Happy for you mark!
LOVE this! Solo travel is something I've started to do in recent years and some trips are better than others from a mental standpoint, but I don't regret a single one of them.
