Yeah it’s actually not that hard to live a life that God would like because he has Great plans for our lives when we serve him Jeremiah 29:11 “'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. '” So why would you even want to get close to hell ? Why make hell an option if you can go to heaven instead it’s literally not that hard because you don’t go to hell for sin you go to hell for unbelief.
Yes! This is exactly what I tell my Adventist friends and relatives. I don't need to argue about what hell is or how and when I'm gonna get to heaven. Its quite simple; hell bad, heaven good. I want to do all that I can to be awarded the good and not the bad whatever it is. Post trib, pre trib, disappear in a twinkling of an eye, caught up flying thru the sky, I really dont care. As long as I get there. Come whenever, send a train, a plane or a chariot or give me wings of angels, how its done is not important to me! Once I make it my business to remain ready it really doesnt matter when He comes or How He comes. Amen?
That’s true but I’ve never heard a soul referred to as the worm in any other place. No one doubts the fire will go on eternally but there’s no reason to think people will be tortured eternally. I’m surprised anybody thinks that a forgiving God would torture someone for a eternity for 70 years of mediocre living and not understanding the truth about God.
@@chadbarkway3073 I hope you watch, now to your comment. I’m not the judge and I can only go by what is written. You sir are not following what scripture says if you really think what you say is true.
@@CRUCIFi777 Actually I am following the scripture. You masochist Christians who think we have this terrible unjust God really confuse me. So a lifetime of mediocre living and not understand God equals a eternal torment? Think about that. That’s not the God I know.

Amen Pastor Corey!!! Jesus talked more about Hell! 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Oxygen water and gravity exists in reality. These things do more for you and your family than any god that man has ever introduced to you. The entity that created creation is far greater than the entity that created the bible. Has some gratitude and have since respect
I'm not going to go back and forth about it, I will truly just pray that you learn the truth before you stand before HIM. Because as that book states no man will have an excuse when the time comes. I am going to pray for you.
And I'd rather not make a bet, considering how many people would rather believe they'll live forever with their buddies in hell and would be shocked to find God has the power to destroy the soul in hell. Rather than making a bet, believe what the Bible says, and in particular, fear what Christ directly tells us to fear -- God's power to destroy body and soul in Gehenna.
in an effort to minimise the traumatic level of hell, we also minimise the seriousness of our sins and God's justice. I sincerely understand why many (include former myself) would struggle with the length of torment with our relative or some victims in view, but we also need to understand that God's law and justice is also eternal, and we (as creation plus sinners) have no say in whether eternal punishment is unjust. by definition, justice is no-mercy.
It's true that we have no say, but it's also true that as we testify to others of the love and justice of God we need to make sure we're testifying truthfully. And we can't be truthful if we're inconsistent.
Why didn't God tell Adam that if he disobeyed Him he would burn eternally in hell? Instead the Almighty who cannot lie told Adam that the consequences for disobedience would be death! Not torture! He told Adam that he would return to the dust! Genesis 2:17; Genesis 3:19! That is in complete harmony with Ecclesiastes 12:7 where it tells us that when a person dies they return to the dust, the spirit returns to God! Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 says that the dead are not conscious of anything! And in Ezekiel 18:4,20 we read that the soul dies! So what is left to torture? Nothing! God puts life and death before us, Deuteronomy 30:19! Not life or eternal torment! In Roman's 6:23 we read that the wages or price paid for sinning is death! Like God told Adam! Satan is misleading the entire inhabited earth, Revelation 12:9! Soon at Armageddon, all those teaching lies and believing lies about Almighty God and His Word will be destroyed! Psalms 92:7; Psalms 37:9-11! Yes, destroyed! But not tortured eternally!
Revelation repeatedly mentions an experience called the "second death". So yes, it is a one-time event. There is no reason why i should believe false teachings about someone being eternally tortured in the lake of fire when the Bible teaches that the condemned will be resurrected to experience a second and permanent death.
Lord help us!! Hell is definitely not a place I want to be at all. We are seeing the Bible play out more and more. Do not be deceived...Thank you for dealing with these things. The Bible also says that my people perish for a lack of knowledge. Prayerfully your message reaches many and they will turn from their ways, they will accept truth and make it in to Heaven...God Bless...
I stopped watching the Bible Project channel a while ago. It’s scary they have sooo many followers. Their concept on how they explain the bible so vividly and creatively is great, but their theology is off.
"But there are not a few who would be indignant at having their belief in God questioned, who yet seem greatly to fear imagining Him better than He is." - George MacDonald
I just want to clear some misconceptions people have about annhilationism. The doctrine does not teach that people will cease to exist imminently before there is any suffering. We believe they will suffer in torment consciously, and might even last day and night, but there will be a time when there will reach an end and they will be nothing but ashes. We don’t believe that every single person will burn for all eternity, depending on their sins, (Luke 12:47-48) some will suffer longer and some less, but they will all eventually be destroyed forever and be “ashes under the soles of your feet” according to the prophet Jeremiah.
In this physical universe, there's the 2nd law of thermodynamics that means everything is heading toward entrophy over time or in other words, everything decays to a state where it reaches a final state of being spent. It takes time for one to grow old and die (threescore & 10 years of aging is a good average for a lifetime). It takes time for the sun to convert hydrogen into helium to produce the light we benefit from. It takes over 8 minutes (for that light to travel 93 million miles) to reach our retinas and register as a hot yellow ball of fire in the sky (D=V*T). A planck unit is the smallest unit of measurement for both time and distance and is how far light travels in the smallest unit of time. It took a certain amount of time for the fire initiated by sulfur (brimstone) to create Sodom and Gommorah's final state of entrophy (being burned or converted into ashes). That's one of the properties of the dimension of time that came about at the Fall of Adam and Eve that makes things wind down through chemical, nuclear, etc. reactions and eventually stop (die). Physically, that fire eventually melted and burned everything combustible and then went out, but that was only the physical aspect of it. God could have eternally suspended the laws governing time and the process of destruction to the spiritual side of those people (souls) where they are still experiencing the state of entrophy (being endlessly conscious of being painfull burned, destroyed or reduced to ashes) God created everything including matter, energy, time, the laws of science that keep planets orbiting their respective fusion reactors (stars), etc., etc., etc. Only God can suspend or reverse these laws that He created including those governing time's role in the second law of thermaldynamics. Thus, a soul can be frozen in a constant state of conscious pain (& darkness as light takes time to travel the distance to the back of one's eyes & time is no more for that soul) from the hellfire while likewise, the memories of one's life with all its sins and missed opportunities to come to Christ are frozen on the screen of that tormented soul's mind without any chance to be forgotten, deleted and without a chance for that soul to move out of it's present state of pain and regret. For one such unfortunate soul, this ongoing destruction would take forever from that soul's perspective as it is frozen in time and thus frozen in a state of never ending burning as time wouldn't progress beyond that point to end the torment for that soul. Is God being fair (or just) by doing or allowing this as well as recompense or consequence to sin? Yes He is. Would God be acting justly if say, Hitler got the same slap on the wrist (annihilation) for all his evil that a liar got for telling just one white lie in his or her life (also annihilation)?. If some are eternally rewarded in varying degrees of rewards in Heaven as eternal souls while the unsaved were exempted from eternity (allowed to cop out of or to be "cheated out of" reaping their eternal wages per Romans 6:23) via annihilation, would that be just or fair? God is love, but He is also just (fair)), righteous, and holy. Each sin must be punished (assigned consequences) Being a God of love as well as of holiness, righeousness and justice, that is why He had to come in the Second Person of the Trinity as Jesus Christ to pay for all of humanity's (including mine) sins throughout all of time (being eternal and infinite enabled Him to do that) on that Roman cross. He could have uncreated the iron in the nails that fastened Him to that cross, so iron nails didn't keep Him on that cross suffering for our sins, but His love for us did. But out of love, He also gave us a free will to accept or reject His gift of payment for our sins. That's true love! The bottom line is that either we or He must pay for our sins and the ball is in our court to decide. If just one of humanity's sins weren't paid for, Jesus' body would still be rotted in that now empty tomb just like the dead bodies of Mohammad, Confucius, Buddha and other humans are in their respective tombs as it wouldn't have been fair for Him to rise from the dead unless the transaction of His paying for the world's sins was valid. That is also how He can also be just to forgive us our sins per 1 John 1:9 as they're already paid for. Dead people can't give gifts, love, forgive or do anything else for that matter, which is proof that His payment was valid because He's alive again and offers forgiveness and salvation. We as humans can either accept or decline the gift of salvation (His payment for our sins). Annihilationism as the JW's, SDA's and others believe is just wishful thinking that will continue for all eternity as they that go to hell will wish that they had been annihilated rather than suffer forever. We must remember also that there are no atheists in hell, only former ones. Ask the likes of such as Madelin Murry O'Hare, Stephan Hawking and other dead atheists or I must say, please don't ask them as necromancing (consulting the dead) is forbidden per the Book of Leviticus. Just assume that all of their doubts about God's existance got a shocking correction upon their deaths.
All of your reasoning about what God COULD do is irrelevant compared to what God says we should fear: that is, fear the power of God to destroy body and soul in Gehenna. Not "the power of God to freeze time and therefore make you feel undestroyed forever." //Would God be acting justly if say, Hitler got the same slap on the wrist (annihilation) for all his evil that a liar got for telling just one white lie in his or her life (also annihilation)?.// First: who told you to annihilation is a slap on the wrist? Jesus says the opposite - that it's the gravest loss (Mark 8:34-38) and the greatest fear (Matt 10:28, Luke 12:5). Second: both DO get "eternal punishment", so they get the same thing. Your argument that they cannot get the same thing simply contradicts the Bible. Our belief is that all of the unrepentant will pay the penalty when Christ comes, and that the payment will be eternal destruction AKA death (see 2 Thess 1:9-10 CSB or KJV) -- but accomplished by whatever temporal means God deems appropriate for the sins they've committed (see Rom 2:8-12, and notice that this happens "on the day of wrath", not "forever"). //If some are eternally rewarded in varying degrees of rewards in Heaven as eternal souls while the unsaved were exempted from eternity (allowed to cop out of or to be "cheated out of" reaping their eternal wages per Romans 6:23) via annihilation, would that be just or fair? // Romans 6:23 explicitly says that the wages of sin is death, and contrasts that to "eternal life". According to the dictionary, death means the end of life -- so either we pay the wages of sin by having our life end (="death"), or we don't have our life end because that's what the gift of God is. So contrary to your claim, the verse you cite proves that being judged, sentenced, and paying the penalty of losing your life is the wages of sin. //The bottom line is that either we or He must pay for our sins and the ball is in our court to decide.// Indeed. And if the wages of sin is losing your life, that's a penalty we can pay. If it's eternal torment, we'll never finish paying it. //Dead people can't give gifts, love, forgive or do anything else for that matter, which is proof that His payment was valid because He's alive again and offers forgiveness and salvation.// Correct. But inasmuch as dead people can't love or feel love, they also can't feel torment. Eccl 9 says that because of this lack of ability being dead is the worst possible condition; anything living, no matter how badly off, is better than being dead. //Annihilationism as the JW's, SDA's and others believe is just wishful thinking that will continue for all eternity as they that go to hell will wish that they had been annihilated rather than suffer forever.// Nobody will be told "depart from me, you who misunderstood hell." No, they will be condemned ONLY because they sinned unrepentantly. (I hope you don't really mean what you claimed there.) //We must remember also that there are no atheists in hell, only former ones. ... Just assume that all of their doubts about God's existance got a shocking correction upon their deaths.// True that.
This might be the most repeated statement I have ever heard among traditional Christians and it is complete nonsense. Jesus never in His entire life talked about some evil pagan underworld. Jesus used the words hades and gehenna which neither mean hell or have anything to do with hell.
Whoever’s saying isn’t that bad should go into their kitchen, put on their cooker and put their finger into the flame. That might give them a paradigm shift.
The Bible says God wants nobody to die without him. The problem with Heaven and Hell is you will be given a new body. A perfect body for each place. In Heaven you will feel and be happy forever. In Hell you will have a body for Hell, and you will feel and be miserable and in pain forever. YOU DON'T WANT ANYONE GOING TO HELL! Say this from the bottom of your heart, I ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR! AMEN!!!
1. We should fear hell, but I don't think it makes sense to tell people who don't know the love of God to accept Him because of a threat. For example, Paul in Acts 17 told the pagan philosophers at Mars Hill that God gives all good things, including "life and breath" to them; that "we are not far from Him, for in Him we live and move and have our being." In that context, then, he was able to meaningfully exhort them to turn to God because the mere fact that they're living and moving means God is waiting for them to repent. Conversely, though, this means that when God is no longer waiting, they will no longer live, move, and have their being -- hence Paul's statement that "God has fixed a day of judgment" serves as a warning that after it they'll either have repented and be in His presence forever, or be dead. 2. The claim you're making about a renewed body for the wicked isn't given in the Bible; the Bible says the fearsome thing about Gehenna-hell is God's power to destroy body and soul (versus man's ability only to kill the body).
My cousin once said, that if GOD BREATHED the BREATH of LIFE into ADAM and he became a LIVING SOUL then subsequently that BREATH has been PASSED DOWN to EVERY SINGLE PERSON EVER BORN, therefore WE will LIVE ETERNALLY somewhere whether in HEAVEN OR IN HELL !!!
You have a right to your opinion but I'm sticking with what my cousin said. Whether or not it's logical or illogical doesn't really matter because Heaven.and Hell are real and souls wjll be there for as long as God exsist. @@zachariahz9832 No, but you put it in context. I guess you believe we are not eternal beings and that in itself is something you have to deal with. People crawling on broken glass and sharp rocks, getting acid thrown on people, I can go on for a loooong time. When you die in Hell, you’ll be brought back to get tortured more. @@oldschool5 if Hell doesn’t exist.. why are you on this RUclips video? This video is about Hell not being so bad.. if it doesn’t exist, why are you here anyway? Just a serious, not sarcastic, question.
It's because hell means we'll be executed, put to death, destroyed body and soul that Jesus came to die for us, so that we wouldn't have to die but instead would live forever. Ultimately there's life only in Jesus. There's no life for those thrown into Gehenna -- they will die there.
Very good study! Thank you for posting this video! As I was watching, I was wondering why Hell would have to enlarge itself (Isaiah 5:14) if souls just disintegrate over time. They don't; just as Heaven is eternal, so is Hell. We were made eternal souls; our destination to Heaven or Hell doesn't affect that. Just my thoughts here.
Isaiah 5:14 is about Hades/Sheol, the intermediate state, not the eternal state. "Hades enlarges itself" means that it takes in more and more people; but we also know that in the end Hades is "thrown into the lake of fire" with Death, that this means they both undergo the second death and "death will be no more" -- so large or not, Hades will be gone. Nor do souls disintegrate over time; rather, we're to fear God's power who alone can destroy the soul in Gehenna.
People that hold to the “deconstruction”type of interpretation is hilarious. They completely neglect the idea of weeping and nashing of teeth. That the fury of God will be poured out forever. And on top of that, they do away with “eternal life” for the believer.
Suffering and agony occurs because of the nervous system. It's there so that we eagerly correct whatever may be of immediate threat to the integrity of our body. It's a good thing too, because if pain wasn't as _convincing_ as it is, humanity may try to procrastinate moving our hand from a scalding pan! So, does Hell still partake of this kind of agony? At some point, if the soul is eternal, the whole point of pain is null. You don't have to worry about the consequences of ignoring the pain. After time, people _will_ "ignore" it.
I don’t know about the other brother but I didn’t hear not one bit that Tim Mackie said that Hell is not a bad place to go. In your clip not one bit did he said that hell isn’t a bad place to go nor it isn’t a place of punishment. I would recommend everyone to watch his video on hell and decide for yourself. It actually revolutionized my thinking on what hell is and how now I speak to others of the great message with urgency.
This pastor is completely misunderstanding what Tim Mackie is saying. The truth is, Mackie is claiming that Hell is much, much worse than what people traditionally think Hell to be. More importantly, he explains exactly why not having one's identity in Christ lands a person in Hell. He actually makes Hell make sense and, speaking for myself, I find it a much more terrifying place than a lake of fire does. If there actually is a lake of fire, I would consider the distraction of burning a mercy compared to what I believe Hell really is. But more importantly, if you listen to what Mackie says and try to understand it rather than just try to find things you think you can attack, you may come away with a deeper understanding of just what your salvation means. I know it did me and it changed my relationship with God, or perhaps I should say it clarified it immensely because I now understand more clearly what salvation is. I understand much better what I must guard against and why I have to cling even tighter to Jesus. I understand sanctification better. If you find yourself to be a struggling Christian, I can't recommend Macie's video enough. The title is "Rediscovering Hell" Tim Mackie (The Bible Project) on Luke 16:19-31 The Rich Man & Lazarus 11/22/09. Check it out for yourself. Before you do, pray and ask God to give you wisdom regarding it. Make up your own mind. Personally, if you can watch that video and come away thinking Mackie makes light of Hell, you're not listening. What makes Hell, Hell is not a lake of fire. It is the complete and utter absence of God in your existence, forever. Whatever else it is, nothing can compare to that. If you think God leaving a person alone like that doesn't sound so bad you aren't thinking. You all know the fruit of the Spirit. But what is the opposite? Gal 5:19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Those are examples of an unrepentant heart. I don't mean people in Hell will be having drunken orgies or whatever. What I mean is that for eternity all they will have to satisfy a desire that only God was meant to fill is the evil desires of their own heart. Forever without end. Imagine the first day totally without God. Then the first year. The first decade. The first century. The first eon. Without end. And it just gets worse and worse and worse as their own hate, self-loathing, bitterness, despair goes on and on and on with not one picosecond of relief, ever. All because they wanted their own identity apart from God. Never a kindness, never a moment's peace. Never anything good at all. I don't know about you but I'd be looking for the closest lake of fire just to experience something else, even for a moment. Hell is a lake of fire? What's that compared with eternity without God? If you're afraid of a lake of fire, you're afraid of the wrong thing.
I agree, I think many people are stucked with the fiery hell image, and completely missed Tim's point. I don't get why Tim's explaination of hell undermines the severity of going to hell
Malachi 4:1 "The day is coming burning like an oven and all the proud and all who do wickedly will be stubble and on that day will BURN THEM UP says the Lord of hosts not a root nor branch will be left of them." Punishments vary by intensity and duration. The eternal fire represents God's eternal burning hatred for sin. Of course that will last forever. All of this does NOT allow any room for eternal torment!
Another thing I noticed while he was talking in the video is he just galzed over the word destroy as if the word destroy has any meaning that doesn't indicate an end. The meaning of apollymi (destroy): To kill To put away with entirely To abolish To delcare one must be put to death To perish (to be lost or destroyed like death) To lose.
Amen bro all we can do is pray and hope they see the truth. From tv music they justify hell and say it's not that bad. YES yes it is !!! You are eternally cut off from God no I'm sorry no second or third chances. Good job brother.
No, Jesus is not comparing how unpleasant it is to lose an eye to how unpleasant hell is. He's comparing entering LIFE without your eye to entering Gehenna with both eyes. The point is not that Gehenna hurts more than poking your eye out; it's that entering life is worth losing your eye, since the alternative is worse than entering life.
Wouldn’t it just be better to lived a blessed, prosperous, generous, faith filled life tho like it’s not that hard once you put God first in your life when it comes to your time and money. I use to think it was hard being a Christian but I compared my Christian life to the average non believers life and God has truly blessed me and taken care of me and my family we are not perfect but we are making progress and believing God for his best. Thanks for the vid and God bless
I don't know which ones worse. Thinking hell ain't that bad... or thinking there is no hell.... i feel bad for those who have that kind of belief! Trying to talk to someone about that is nearly impossible

Minimizing how bad hell is can only be straight from the devil. If we actually experienced hell for even a moment we would have a 100% salvation rate. Believe what God says, Repent and trust in Jesus. This is the only way.
No, experiencing hell itself wouldn't have any higher efficacy than accurately preaching what's directly revealed in the Bible. Luke 16:27-31 - ‘Then I beg you, father,’ he said, ‘send Lazarus to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also end up in this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let your brothers listen to them.’ 30 ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone is sent to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 Then Abraham said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”
Eternal separation from the Father and His Son The Lord Jesus, is unbearable! All things are held together by The Lord Jesus. His love,His Being,His light,His warmth, joy, peace and even more are worth more than anything the world can offer. Eternity without Jesus would be a blank, dark, lonely, tortuous, burning existence that noone should ever choose.Praise Father God for Salvation through His Son The Lord Jesus Christ!
Hell is eternal yes, but in what way? Time is not a thing in God's realm you have to get that in your head, while I do believe there is an actual hell where many will go and suffer for a "TIME" .... It would be eternal because the last thing they would go through is that destruction of being diminished to nothing or ceasing to exist, so hell is eternal but because time is not a thing in that dimension you shouldn't think of hell as a timed place, once you are destroyed and you perish you are in hell eternally, literally. Heaven is eternal life, and joy and praise and adoring the one and only, hell is the opposite, and heaven also has no time, so it's eternal life, eternal because time is no more. Hell IS THAT BAD ITS HORRIBLE, it's the worst thing ever because what's more sad than burning and being tortured forever? Not existing any longer and no one and no thing remembering who you are and what you were. If you believe God will always have billions of souls burning and being tormented and being stabbed and all that stuff, forever and that specific process just continues on and on while it is KNOWN to God that it is happening..... then you don't know my merciful, RIGHTEOUS God. He is merciful enough, and powerful enough to make anyone or anything CEASE from existing.
God breathe into Adam nostril the breathe of life, then Adam became a living soul. God's breathe cannot cease to exist, the soul of man cannot cease to exist, it's going to experience eternal life, or eternal death, joy unspeakable forever, or torment forever.
That passage doesn't say that God's breath became man's soul. Nor does it say the soul of man cannot cease to exist; in fact, in Gen 3:19 it says "you will return to dust", and so in Gen 3:22, unsaved man cannot "live forever". The only way is to come to Christ believing, and then Jesus says in John 6:58 unlike those who died in the wilderness, we will "live forever."
Humans do not have souls, humans are souls. We are living souls and the soul that sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:4). We do not own God's breath. When we die, our bodies return to the dust and the spirit returns to God that gave it. Eternal death and torment forever is heresy.
@WilliamTanksleyJr the human body is made out of dust, the body was already formed before God breathe into Adam nostril, then when God breathe into him the body became alive, the life force that's was in him came from God's breath, there is nothing about God that can cease to exist, God is eternal, God breathe his life force into Adam that part is call the soul, you need to take your time and read the accout of how man came I to being, of your trying to pick a fight I'm not coming to your level ,you will know for certain soon enough
@therealgospelofchrist6823 man was first form from dust, the body was lifeless until God breathe into it then it became Alive,or a living soul, do the math the body was form number 1, then God breathe into it, into it, into it, into what the lifeless body form from dust, what was breathe into it that came from God, God's breathe, now God's breath cease to exist?, is God eternal?, Is God's breath eternal?, the soul that sins it shall died. What is death? The holy scriptures explains the first and the second death, the first death is dying in your sins never accepting Christ, the scriptures saying to die in christ you are automatically present with the Lord, how are you present with the Lord ? Your soul is present with the Lord, the person that didn't accept Christ and died soul is present in hell which is called the first death, suffering death in torment, Christians don't suffer death after they died they are in God's domain in heaven. The Christian body will be resurrected first at Christ's second coming to meet him in the air. The non Christians that died will be resurrected afterwards, to be judge by God suffering contempt, and indignation, and taken and cast into a lake that burneth with fire and brimestone which is called the second death, and then God will cast them out of his presence into outer darkness and will forget they ever existed . HELL is a real place, if you don't get saved but rather dispute the scriptures that's going to be on you, very soon, time is short, eternity is forever.
@therealgospelofchrist6823 our soul reside inside of our early tabernacle or house which is our body that made from dust, the soul dwells inside the body, the life force inside the body when the body dies leaves the body, this the soul, or you give up the ghost. If you preach another gospel not the gospel of christ you are according to scripture under a accused, all liars shall have there part in the lake that burneth with fire and brimestone don't let people dictate to you what the Bible is revealing find out for yourself study the scriptures.
Exactly, I've heard different theories about Hell. I've heard ceasing to exist, I've heard there is no fire but your eternally separated from God. I personally believe your burning however it could be something else. whatever it is I don't want to be there.
i think when God uses words such as "consuming ", he does not want us to leave with the impression of: at least the torment will come to an end. instead, he intended for them to sound as scary as it needed to be, so as to demonstrate his power, and justice. therefore, don't mess with God, hell will be as long as it need to be to leave sinners with no prospect of relief. which makes it the opposite of the final sabbath (Hebrew 4) PS> Heb10 : 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Thank you for sharing, Brother Corey... Personally, the parable of the rich man and Lazarus has always been one of the scariest stories in the Bible... It explains in detail how we will still have our senses while in our true spiritual bodies: See, Hear, Smell, Taste, and Touch/Feel... It also tells of how we will still our minds to recall all of that we did and/or didn't do while in the flesh... What would be the point of being cast into the Lake of Fire, if you can't feel anything or if the suffering would be only temporary? Besides, if the rich man was already in torment in Hell prior to the death/burial/resurrection of JESUS CHRIST, then I can't possibly begin to understand what would cause anyone to consider everlasting contempt into the Lake of Fire as simply an afterthought...
@@completoencristo I respectfully disagree... There shouldn't be any issue or concern with depicting it as a parable... Doing so, in no means diminish the truth of the events that unfolded... JESUS could've chosen to illustrate His lesson by any other means, but He chose to do so in the same manner in which He conveyed similar lessons to the disciples structured in form of a parable, thus giving power to its credence and understanding... There's no definition or rule denoting the use of a parable that would disqualify it as such, just for incorporating actual names...
There are Christians who believe in "conditional eternal life" only in Jesus. Only believers gain eternal life, all others just die and stay dead. Please search Edward Fudge and what he teaches on the subject. Thx
What did the Almighty tell Adam the consequences of disobedience would be? Death! Not torture! Genesis 2:17! The dead are not conscious of anything! Ecclesiastes 9:5,10! Soon at Armageddon, all those who are teaching lies about God and His Word will be destroyed, Psalm 37:9-11; Psalms 92:7; John 3:16! Destroyed, yes, but not tortured forever in a firey place! God is love, not sadistic!
@carolmueller3191 you can't go by one or two scriptures to prove a point with your own finite reasoning, the holy scriptures reveal what the holy scriptures are saying, the Word of God only reveals what the Word of God is saying, study the whole Bible and see what Bible is saying about this subject stop trying to fight.
@therealgospelofchrist6823 that's a well said point, when Jesus died they placed his body into a tomb, but the scriptures say when he died he went into paradise, well he told one of men that was crucified with him, Today you will be with me in paradise.
@@charleshurdle7010 That's one interpretation but then that kinda stands against the whole idea of Jesus being dead for 3 days if He was really alive in some place called paradise. I don't think Jesus went to paradise because after His resurrection, Mary tried to touch Him and He told her not to because He hadn't ascended to the Father. The word "paradise" has Persian origin and it essentially means a garden. This same word is found in Revelation 2:7 in reference to the paradise of God. So whatever paradise is, God is there and Jesus said He hadn't been to where Hid Father was after His bodily resurrection. I believe the issue here is modern grammar punctuation being added to the scriptures. There were no commas in the original Greek texts but commas can influence interpretation. Let's look at the difference; Truly I say to you, today, you will be with me in paradise. Truly I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise. Do you see the difference? If there were no commas, how would we really know what Jesus meant? We have to look at other clues that will help us open up the truth. The evidence I've provided is what I believe He said the latter.
That's also what 7th day Adventist believe. There's a really good preacher that I just found out is actually a 7th day adventists and I had no idea he was one until he brought up the whole annihilation view of hell. The rest of his teaching is spot on. actually his name is Doug Bachelor and I really like listening to him preach and I've never heard any other error in his doctrine. He never even mentions that he's a SDA. I found out when I googled some info on him. What a shame to believe that. I still think he's saved tho. He truly loves the Lord! 💔💔
I enjoy listening to Doug Bachelor as well. However, 7th Day Adventists view Ellen G. White to be an authoritative prophetic voice of the church. They also ascribe to her teachings that observance of the Sabbath is the seal of God. They also have a teaching called the Investigatve Judgment which postulates that Christ's sacrifice on the cross was not sufficient for forgiveness of sins but that Christ entered into the most holy place in heaven in 1844 and has been constantly reviewing the life of everyone born since Adam to determine if they are worthy to obtain eternal life and that the demarcation is observation of the Sabbath. Some of Bachelor and SDA teaching would be construed as evangelical. However, as you dig deeper, you will discover teachings that definitely do not align with Scripture and are indeed heretical.
I understand what you’re trying to debunk but the point is is that hell is the punishment that nonbelievers and those who do not accept Christ experience. It’s a place I don’t wanna go to whether it’s continuous or temporary
Knowing vs believing. When you know history there is no need to believe in mythology.. When the baby begins to KNOW the history of Santa, that child will no LONGER believe in the mythology of Santa. Study the history of the concept of a physical hell.. Study Greek mythology. Study Zoroastrianism. Look up the Greek word "Tartarus" and then look up the biblical word "Tartarus" Look at whose concept of hell is older. Once you KNOW the history behind hell, there will be no longer any need for you to fear something that has no evidence of existence.. And you will also recognize that no healthy person needs fear to motivate them to be righteous.
I must say that I'm not convinced by your argument brother. I think the other guy makes a really great case that the soul is destroyed in hell. But the fire is ongoing because there will still be the devil and his angels there, and new souls that are thrown in constantly and destroyed.
I believe in eternal condemnation, but annihilationism was one of 3 views in the early church, of hell. So it's not as un-Christian as you might think.
First off, you have to believe in God inorder to believe in a Heaven or Hell. Some people don't, so I always say this, I would rather live believing that Hell exists, than to die and find out that it really does exist, and then it's too late.
I used to follow that guy from unlearn the lies when I was first saved. He says we still have to follow the law, that man had me not eating bacon 🥓 I’m still mad at him for that one. But jokes aside that man is way off he’s teaching a works based salvation.
18:58 Playing with fire if taking sin lightly and decide to deal with the punishment later since it is not bad. Hmm. Being a teen parent and having to give up 18 years for your child ( for life if child has serious enough special needs ) before being ready to be a parent will feel like paradise compared to Sheol, Gahenna, and Hades!
The word "olam" is used of things that have actually ceased--like the ceremonial practices under the old covenant. The word "aionios" actually means age or world, NOT "eternal", and is used of things that have--in fact--ended. In the verse about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit , it is said that it will not be forgiven, either in this age(aionios) or the age to come. This age WILL end, as you surely know.
maybe you haven't been depressed, many long to be annihilated because of their sufferings. if hell is not eternal. we do have less reason to preach the less attractive Gospel in a pragmatic world.
@@solideogloria5553 - //maybe you haven't been depressed, many long to be annihilated because of their sufferings.// Those are people who have been defeated by their sufferings. The Bible offers a few examples of people like that: Job, Judas, and the people in Rev 9:6. But such people don't "long for death" per se; they simply have lost all joy in life. The solution is to show them the joy of life and the hope in the resurrection, not to threaten them with something you imagine is even worse. //if hell is not eternal. we do have less reason to preach the less attractive Gospel in a pragmatic world.// Annihilationists believe hell is eternal. But no, we don't have less reason to preach the Gospel; we have MORE reason, because unlike you we can just say what the Bible says - when we want to explain why to fear hell, we can say "fear him who has the power to destroy body and soul in Gehenna." When we want to explain how Christ allows us to escape hell, we can answer "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." If someone finds that "less attractive", that's on them. We offer life or death just as the Bible does; we don't offer whatever we think will frighten the person the most, or whatever we think will tempt the person the most.
I agree with Lex, I've always said eternal life is a gift not a curse. Scripture says we will be given the right to eat from the tree of life, which means without such there is no eternal life. Even the Genesis Account God said let us remove them before they also eat from the tree of life and live for ever..... Once again this shows it's a requirement to eat from the tree of life to live forever, people in hell don't get to eat from the tree of life. Also Lex never said hell isn't that bad and it's dishonest to imply he did, he simply said people won't be there for "eternity". I'd imagine even just 10 min in Hell would be unimaginably horrible, and I'm sure most will be there much longer than 10 min, just not for eternity. Second Lex speaks more truth than most, I've not seen all your content so I can't say what truth you are or are not speaking but if you don't follow YHWH's law concerning the Sabbath Then you are teaching LAWLESSNESS.
@@ModerateMic 1 John 2:4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him Pray on it and seek YHWH for truth.
Why would anyone want one second in hell? If they desire to go to hell, it will be to late for an "oopsy." I don't believe we can comprehend hell because it is so horrible.
how about a compromise: (half jokingly) length of hell is unknowable but it is definitely not gonna end, cos if you (a random unrepented sinner) know the end date, you will be able to "patiently edure" it till the end. sadly, patient edurance is a phrase reserved for faithful saints who are being preserved for a reward of rest.

A. No, Abraham says he cannot even have one drop of relief. Q. Does the conversation with Abraham, or the torment, continue after the events we see described finish?
Amen, how can anyone be weeping and nashing there teeth if they are totally destroyed? God will not let you off the hook that easy. You will give an account for rejecting his Son.
Those who believe God will (literally) destroy body and soul in Gehenna don't deny there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that place -- all we deny is that the weeping and gnashing will go on forever. And there is no passage that says it does so; on the contrary, Matt 13:40ff says it happens "at the end of the age" (and so is finite), while Luke 13:28 says it happens "when you see yourselves thrown out" (and so is a description of the event, not a description of eternity).
Great video! I’m been following for some time, and was interested in what software or app you are using to compare the Hebrew text with the English version.
The rich man was NOT in Gehenna(the Lake of Fire). He is in Hades(that is the actual Greek word there). Revelation says Hades will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, so Hades is NOT the Lake of Fire, though there was obviously a fire there that the rich man was in.

in an effort to minimise the traumatic level of hell, we also minimise the seriousness of our sins and God's justice.
God could have eternally suspended the laws governing time and the process of destruction to the spiritual side of those people (souls) where they are still experiencing the state of entrophy (being endlessly conscious of being painfull burned, destroyed or reduced to ashes)
God created everything including matter, energy, time, the laws of science that keep planets orbiting their respective fusion reactors (stars), etc., etc., etc.
Not "the power of God to freeze time and therefore make you feel undestroyed forever."
//Would God be acting justly if say, Hitler got the same slap on the wrist (annihilation) for all his evil that a liar got for telling just one white lie in his or her life (also annihilation)?.//
First: who told you to annihilation is a slap on the wrist?
Romans 6:23 explicitly says that the wages of sin is death, and contrasts that to "eternal life".
//The bottom line is that either we or He must pay for our sins and the ball is in our court to decide.//
Indeed. And if the wages of sin is losing your life, that's a penalty we can pay. If it's eternal torment, we'll never finish paying it.
//Dead people can't give gifts, love, forgive or do anything else for that matter, which is proof that His payment was valid because He's alive again and offers forgiveness and salvation.//
Correct. But inasmuch as dead people can't love or feel love, they also can't feel torment. Eccl 9 says that because of this lack of ability being dead is the worst possible condition; anything living, no matter how badly off, is better than being dead.
//Annihilationism as the JW's, SDA's and others believe is just wishful thinking that will continue for all eternity as they that go to hell will wish that they had been annihilated rather than suffer forever.//
Nobody will be told "depart from me, you who misunderstood hell." No, they will be condemned ONLY because they sinned unrepentantly. (I hope you don't really mean what you claimed there.)
//We must remember also that there are no atheists in hell, only former ones. ... Just assume that all of their doubts about God's existance got a shocking correction upon their deaths.//
True that.
Jesus spoke more about he'll than heaven
Waaaaay more!
What book did jesus write about hell in
This might be the most repeated statement I have ever heard among traditional Christians and it is complete nonsense. Jesus never in His entire life talked about some evil pagan underworld. Jesus used the words hades and gehenna which neither mean hell or have anything to do with hell.
The beloved shall live forever, and the wicked shall die forever in the lake of fire which is the second death.
Someone who has been dying for days is not dead yet; they're still alive. You're essentially denying the death of the wicked.
Utter nonsense.
Some people like my self used to think that going to hell was like sitting in jail...🤔
None of that logic is in the Bible; on the contrary, in Genesis 3:22 God took action to make sure Adam wouldn't be able to live forever.
You have a right to your opinion but I'm sticking with what my cousin said. Whether or not it's logical or illogical doesn't really matter because Heaven.and Hell are real and souls wjll be there for as long as God exsist. Many people get on here and say this or that but never say anything to people about the Gospel. I hope your not one of those people. Be Blessed !
So we'll just ignore the Genesis account where God said quick let us remove them before they eat from the Tree of Life and live forever.
@@zachariahz9832 No, but you put it in context. I guess you believe we are not eternal beings and that in itself is something you have to deal with. If God had allowed them to eat from the Tree of Life then we would have been locked into this fallen world forever; no chance for redemption or not;
.no Heaven or Hell just only what you see right now killing, stealing, racism, sickness, tornadoes, earthquakes and the list goes on and on and on;
kind of like Hell with some good. Believe it or not there are people out there who know more about scripture than me and you combined and that also includes God so do some research. 👍

Why should I fear God if He can destroy both my body and soul in Hell? I would fear Him more if He can send my body and soul to Hell for eternity.
Carlton Pearson was a Pastor of a Mega Church and came out one day renouncing hell.
Remember when he came out with his Unitarian views. He’s still teaching some crazy doctrines.
Mr. Pearson teaching of inclusion whatever that means.
@@andreadrake4890 inclusion is that ultimately everyone will be included in salvation. Carlton was a good teacher at first. Then went into wrong doctrine. He even made a video defending Mike Todd when he spit mucus in his hand and rubbed it all over his brother’s face.

My son has seen Hell in a biblical dream just this year. Spiked masks getting put on peoples faces and eyes getting jabbed out. Sand getting poured in mouths with poisonous ants. People crawling on broken glass and sharp rocks, getting acid thrown on people, I can go on for a loooong time. When you die in Hell, you’ll be brought back to get tortured more.
This is a place where NOBODY wants to go. The most horrific things happen there. This was all seen by my son at 7 years old and he does NOT watch that type of things on television.
Please seek God, turn away from sin and be born of the spirit, pick up your cross and follow Christ. It won’t be easy, only worth it. Stay blessed everyone.
Did he ever see these masks and jabs before the pandemic?
@@oldschool5 no. Crawling on rocks and glass with demons pouring salt on wounds, seeing acid melting skin off of bones, seeing torture devises ripping off body parts and skin. Seeing people getting beaten with what Jesus got beaten with, rats eating faces off of people. He stood there with Jesus for 10 mins he said looking into Hell. I asked why he wasn’t afraid of Hell and he said “Jesus was with me”. There was A LOT more torture but I think you can get the point. This description came from the eyes of a 7 year old. @@oldschool5.. Hell was 10 mins of his Biblical dream. He was in this dream in Heaven flying around with angels, was taught how to talk with hand signals, was taught how to bat by Jesus and his 2 hits in his first scrimmage ever he hit 2 doubles, he planted fruits and vegetables in Heaven and poured holy water on them, it takes about an hour to grow; then gabe an offering to the Lord. @@oldschool5 if Hell doesn’t exist.. why are you on this RUclips video? This video is about Hell not being so bad.. if it doesn’t exist, why are you here anyway? Just a serious, not sarcastic, question.
Why does it also say that the saints will thread on the ashes of the Sinners
Ideas like this have so many going to some quick-fix judgment; that they are taking their punishment into their own hands.
If hell was not so bad then why did Jesus come into the world to die for our sins? He gave His life so we can have eternal life with Him.
When was hell created
The wicked will perish and disappear after judgement. John 3:16
Hell is not forever, the effects of hell is forever... big difference. If the wicked burn forever then it'll be eternal life!!!
Do not let anyone deceive you !!!! Read your Bibles people !!!
The meaning of apollymi (destroy):
To kill
To put away with entirely
To abolish
To delcare one must be put to death
To perish (to be lost or destroyed like death)
To lose.
Amen bro all we can do is pray and hope they see the truth. From tv music they justify hell and say it's not that bad. YES yes it is !!! You are eternally cut off from God no I'm sorry no second or third chances. Good job brother.
Jesus said that it is better to lose an arm or leg than have your whole body cast into hell. So think about it. Does that sound like a nice place?
right, the length of serving will be as long as it need to scare the "hell" out of a "want to be annihilated" sinner.

Let him warn them, so that they will not also end up in this place of torment.’
29 But Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let your brothers listen to them.’
30 ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone is sent to them from the dead, they will repent.’
31 Then Abraham said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”
If you preach another gospel not the gospel of christ you are according to scripture under a accused, all liars shall have there part in the lake that burneth with fire and brimestone don't let people dictate to you what the Bible is revealing find out for yourself study the scriptures.
oh yes, it is a bad place
Hell is the WORSE thing that can happen too ANYONE.👿 🔥.
It’s actually not a parable because Christ gives names of real people .
Jesus was destroyed too but God brought Him back from destruction.
@@charleshurdle7010 That's one interpretation but then that kinda stands against the whole idea of Jesus being dead for 3 days if He was really alive in some place called paradise. I don't think Jesus went to paradise because after His resurrection, Mary tried to touch Him and He told her not to because He hadn't ascended to the Father. The word "paradise" has Persian origin and it essentially means a garden. This same word is found in Revelation 2:7 in reference to the paradise of God. So whatever paradise is, God is there and Jesus said He hadn't been to where Hid Father was after His bodily resurrection. I believe the issue here is modern grammar punctuation being added to the scriptures. There were no commas in the original Greek texts but commas can influence interpretation. Let's look at the difference;
Truly I say to you, today, you will be with me in paradise.
Jw's believe that to.
Jesus said if you love me FOLLOW MY COMMANDMENTS...
18:58
Playing with fire if taking sin lightly and decide to deal with the punishment later since it is not bad.
Would love to get your thoughts on the “sheol doctrine”
Even if hell was inhalationism I would rather be in heaven forever with my creator/father then not exist.
Well… yeah
maybe you haven't been depressed, many long to be annihilated because of their sufferings. if hell is not eternal. we do have less reason to preach the less attractive Gospel in a pragmatic world.
@@solideogloria5553 - //maybe you haven't been depressed, many long to be annihilated because of their sufferings.//
Those are people who have been defeated by their sufferings. The Bible offers a few examples of people like that: Job, Judas, and the people in Rev 9:6. But such people don't "long for death" per se; they simply have lost all joy in life. The solution is to show them the joy of life and the hope in the resurrection, not to threaten them with something you imagine is even worse.
//if hell is not eternal. we do have less reason to preach the less attractive Gospel in a pragmatic world.//
Annihilationists believe hell is eternal. But no, we don't have less reason to preach the Gospel; we have MORE reason, because unlike you we can just say what the Bible says - when we want to explain why to fear hell, we can say "fear him who has the power to destroy body and soul in Gehenna." When we want to explain how Christ allows us to escape hell, we can answer "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
If someone finds that "less attractive", that's on them.
Second Lex speaks more truth than most, I've not seen all your content so I can't say what truth you are or are not speaking but if you don't follow YHWH's law concerning the Sabbath
Then you are teaching LAWLESSNESS.
Now the truth is out, SDA. So you totally dismiss all the verses presented.
@@rtg8point858 I have no idea what SDA means? The only people I see dismissive of bible verses is the people go to hell for eternity crowd.

There is a difference between "torment" and "torture".
Hell Is a bad place 😧
I would like to know your take on the image that CS Lewis made in the Great Divorce
Very good bible study!!
Why would anyone want one second in hell? If they desire to go to hell, it will be to late for an "oopsy." I don't believe we can comprehend hell because it is so horrible.
Do we have any proof of hell outside of Zoroastrianism, Greek mythology and the bible?
The American mind has strong aversion for punishment and will unconsciously interpret scriptures through that filter
how about a compromise: (half jokingly) length of hell is unknowable but it is definitely not gonna end, cos if you (a random unrepented sinner) know the end date, you will be able to "patiently edure" it till the end. sadly, patient edurance is a phrase reserved for faithful saints who are being preserved for a reward of rest.
Everyone in hell that got there thousands of years ago and are still there understand what eternity in hell means.
Evidence?
"A thousand years" isn't eternity.
Weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth. Doesn't sound great to me.
Burnt up like tares, like chaff burnt up in unquenchable fire, destroyed body and soul, pay the penalty of eternal destruction on the Day He comes ... doesn't sound great to me either.
Q does the rich man get some relief while he is having this conversation with gather Abraham?
23and in Hades, being in *TORMENT* he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.
24¶“Then he *CRIED* and said, ‘Father Abraham, have *MERCY* on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am *TORMENTED* in this *FLAME*
LUKE 16:V23-24 (read to the end of the chapter)
Scripture certainly doesn't show any relief aid for the rich man ...⚠️⚠️
Whoever needs to read this, put ALL that you have in Jesus Christ, making Him Lord of your life.

@@elciscoplummer3255 thank you
The rich man was NOT in Gehenna(the Lake of Fire). He is in Hades(that is the actual Greek word there). Revelation says Hades will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, so Hades is NOT the Lake of Fire, though there was obviously a fire there that the rich man was in.
That guy from the Bible project, something has always seemed slightly off about him. Like I’ll nod my head to 90% of his videos and then I’ll be repulsed by something
Who ever said hell isn't that bad never had visions or dream of it it is unforgiving and horrorfing 😩
Whoever said that, do they have any evidence to support their stance
Whoever defines hells by visions and dreams without mentioning what the Bible says has a problem.

Tim, that is the saddest reasoning for the real heaven, earth and hell I have ever heard. How do you guys get to teach into people's souls? So full of their own reasoning, leading many weak-minded to a false eternal reality. My God!
Basically there is two hells the first one is the same from everyone like everyone will die and be put in the earth where the flesh comes from but the second hell is the lower hell which means the second death where everyone will be judged and whosoever is not found written in the book of life will be casted into the eternal fire forever and ever and they shall have no rest day or night
The believer is in Abraham's bosom not suffering
@@fabiancortez2256 so your saying the story of Lazurus and abraham isn't real cause it's definitely in scripture where I assume people go to before the judgement. Prove me otherwise??????
@TP The Free Thinker guess u don't get it do you
@TP The Free Thinker so your not talking to me & when he says 2 hells you should analyze what he might mean before you go at him. I think he's talking about the holding place before judgement that we all go to. I mentioned Abraham just to clarify both sides of that holding place. So If this what he's trying to communicate then I'm not gonna jump on him for saying 2 hells. Now if he's saying something different from that then we can talk. Reminds me of the conversation I had with a person when a unbeliever we knew died. I said it's sad that person is in hell right now & this person yelled at me saying they will go to Hell but there not in actual Hell right now. I then said of course I know that but that wasn't the point I was making. I was basically saying they weren't going to heaven. This person still wanted to argue with me & I just had to stop talking to them about it & shake my head. Just make sure this is not what your doing and find out the intent of what there saying first before you attack them & if you do. With truth & Love, God Bless
@@fabiancortez2256 it's literal and I can tell you know I'm with him unless he says something differently to contradict anything I've just said which you can look up
Not only is hell not bad. Hell and heaven are fictional areas. They are a condition of the mind.
At best
Instead of leaning on your own understandings and false beliefs, seek God and His truth. By reading His word, you will know that the only way to eternal salvation is through Jesus Christ. Don't believe me, fine, but know God first. And give your life to Christ, repenting from your sin, and watch as many testimonies of Christians who were once non-believers who came to Christ. That will answer your questions.

Hell is the eternal desire to die in the knowledge that one is not God. Oh, it's bad.
So if heaven isn't so bad or it doesn't exist, then what is the purpose of following Jesus. Just doesn't make sense.
Well if he is telling ppl that hell is not so bad...then he should by all means go there himself and he will find out the truth....thats the only way for him to be sure.
That's the only way to find out if hell exists.
Is the fire eternal or the punishment I think that’s the difference
Matt 25:41 says the fire is eternal, while Matt 25:46 says the punishment is eternal. So my answer would be "both."
No sound. I stopped "Learning the Lies" after hearing the speaker's perspective on hell😒😳. I offered him my list of scriptures (in comments) supporting that there is indeed a hell. We don't have time for this foolishness going around. People make excuses for what they want to do.
Some Christian's think I'm going to hell because I celebrate Halloween and I decorate my house
I know people that hold tightly to the doctrine of annihilation. I have asked these same people who have children if their cildren were killed by a sadistic killer who tortured and murdered their child would they prefer the doctrine of annihilation or eternal Hell? They immediately go into deep thought knowing that an eternal Hell would be the best punishment for a child murderer.
