Excellent review of the World of Chris Collins cologne line. Harlem Nights is my favorite of the fragrances you listed. It has a sweet scent (I assume it's coming from the jasmine and patchouli), but it also has some rum and musk that doesn't make it too flowery. It reminds me of an updated version of one of the Halston colognes (I believe the Z-14), which I loved when I was younger.
If you like layering fragrances, try layering these scents. For example, I layering Harlem Nights with Nest Jasmine Oil. The additional clean floral scent tones down the masculine side of the fragrance without drowning it out completely. Also, I highly recommend getting your nose on Tokyo Blue. It's difficult to describe but it brought tears to my eyes because that scent immediately brought back memories of my Grandfather. He passed away when I was 8. Before that fragrance, I had never experienced a rush of memories from a fragrance. It's a wonderful (and slightly sad) feeling.
That's the beauty of fragrances. I love that you thought of your grandfather. There's some things I smell that reminds me of my dad. I'll definitely try your layering combo. Thanks so much 💙
According to the story behind the fragrance, Chris Collins modeled Tokyo Blue after his father's love for violet fragrances. I like it because its scent ranges from soft, sweet, candy-like violet blossom fragrance to a woody floral tonality. It's a great winter/early spring scent.
@@michaeljohnson7945 I adore Tokyo Blue. I have such an emotional connection to that fragrance. Besides the fact that the scent is divine, it's like a hug from my grandfather (he passed away when I was 8) whenever I wear it.

Long kiss goodnight is my favorite!!!! But once you said you hate coffee and that came out the strongest for you it makes sense. Me and coffee are besties 🤣
Yeah coffee is a no go for me. I hate trying to get water at my job when fresh coffee is being made. I literally hate everything about coffee from the smell to the taste 😆
@@LavishlyChiChi Of all the Chris Collins fragrances I have smelled (all 14), Long Kiss Goodnight may be my least favorite. As you said, the combination of coffee and flowers got on my nerves. It was like taking two extreme smells and blending them together to say, "This is a unisex fragrance."
Thanks for the detail about the coconut in the last fragrance. I'm not very keen on creamy coconut scents so I'm glad to know it's more light and fresh!
Lost in paradise is a low key bop. I hope he makes more fem leaning fragrances to his lineup. The Sephora sale is coming up in April so you can save a couple dollars. I'm gonna wear it a few more times to see whether I wanna get the travel size or big bottle
