hi Caroline, after many cruises and my history of being a massive over packer I now take one pair of evening shoes that will go with everything. I bought a pair of metallic, open toe with embellishments that look great with dressy or casual outfits. This saves me the extra weight and provides more room in the suitcase. I usually have to fly to my destination so every little bit helps.

I look forward to seeing your vlogs from the cruise it sounds an amazing itinerary and I've never cruised with Celebrity before, so interesting to see what ship is like. One of the first videos I made for my channel was an "everything I wore on my cruise" vlog which was really good fun. My next cruise is In October and you've inspired me to try to be more methodical with my packing lol x
Great tips very handy especially taking small bags for hair etc I always try and cram everything into one bag which ends up a complete mess with hair make-up all in a tangled mess. Have a wonderful holiday love your vlogs never them 😘😘

I am rather like you…..if I can get it in the case…it is going with me! I love cruising from Southampton as I can take more luggage but,alas next week we have to fly to Malta to meet the ship to start the cruise so can only have the airline’s quota. Quite a challenge for an over packer like me. I hang all possibilities around a spare bedroom which astounds my partner and have to explain that only half will make it to the case! Just a week for us this time somewhat easier. My sensible head always says seven outfits for a week and the same for two weeks, wearing each outfit again! My sensible head doesn’t travel well! Xx Liz
Thank you for showing us the planning and packing process. Deciding what to take is the worst part especially if you have a lot of choices. I have a packing list for the main items, then plan my clothes over several days and have a daywear list, and an evening list, and items get put on a total clothes list which I tick of when I have them ready. I think your individual jewellery bags are a good idea. I assemble my items downstairs in a spare bedroom and pack my case on the dining room table. This is near the front door so I don’t have far to lift/move my case to the car. I made the mistake initially of packing upstairs, and then had to attempt to transfer the case down an open tread staircase! I live alone, but imagine that men don’t have the same dilemmas re decisions for clothes and items as women. I watch the RUclips Solent Ships and I think I saw the cruise ship leave Southampton. You may have been on the deck or balcony waving! Look forward to seeing more and hope you had a lovely holiday. Thank you for showing us this video.

Hi, packing list is very specific to me, so not something that would be helpful to share, easy to create your own I think. Jewellery bags I’ve collected over the years from when I buy things that come in pouches, quite a lot are from Kate Spade 😊

Ashley is a very last minute, chuck it in packer, so I don’t think his packing would be easy to film! I haven’t decided whether to post the cruise footage yet, probably there will be a video at some point 😊
Hope you had a lovely time. I know rolling saves creases but I found it took up more room in the case. I like the thought of the compression cases but does that not make them more creased if they're being squashed ?

Hello Caroline. We recently did a weeks river cruise with Great Railway journeys. The Majestic Rhine cruise. Never been on any type of cruise before but had done a holiday with GRJ. Our case only 1 per cabin was collected a week b4 our hol & returned to us the day after our return. All brilliant & well worth doing. We both took small cases with us. When all travel is by train you really don't want to be lumping huge bags & trying to find somewhere to store for journey. Anyway we had a wonderful holiday.... allbeit exhausting. But I packed just right, my partner took on board all my suggestion but decided to pack extra....Not needed things. I'm getting better at reducing whats needed. X
Did you feel you took the right amount? Was there anything you regretted leaving or that you didn't need? I'm awful at packing - definitely a 'just in case' person.
Packing and deciding outfits are all part of the joy of travel , hanging the jewellery with the outfit is a great tip !

I roll items inside them and don't notice them being any more creased, hope that helps :)

He definitely packs his own case, and I honestly don't know if he does it well, I don't check up on him, but I know he packs last minute!!
