I was like 😮 when you started talking about the vest, but you’ve got a good eye bc it totally does work well with that outfit. It’s totally got the Craft vibes.
I sometimes find unique pieces in the thrift store, but I can't figure out if it goes with my wardrobe. My mind just blanks, and I can't think of a single piece of clothing that I own. So this weekend I decided to download a wardrobe/closet app! I'm currently still in the process of taking photos, but I can't wait until my next thrifting adventure. The app also has a feature where it builds outfit ideas for you, so I'm also thinking of taking a photo of any potential items at the store, and seeing if the app can make any outfits I might like. That way I'll know whether or not I should buy a piece. Let me know if you'd like me to report back on my experience 🙏
Hey, I'm a bit late to the party but hopefully 8 months down the road you'll know if your system works for you ! I'd like to have your conclusion with this experiment, do you still do that ? Did it help you choosing good pieces that you actually use after buying them and create new outfits ? Would you recommend the app you were trying ? Thank you kindly 😊
Happy birthday!! Loved this video, your outfit was awesome. I have basically made boots + tights + miniskirt my uniform and I think it's such a classic. Leather jacket on top is sooo good. I have to remember to wear mine this spring when the weather is perfect for it.
Happy Birthday!!! That is AWSOME day! What shop was that that you went to? It looks like I need to go there. Also the sweet treats, do share where that was. I love new places to shop! I love all tips that shared. I really need to do a list for what I don’t need. 😆 I keep getting those items. Lol. Have a great day!
Thank you 🖤 I apologize I actually don't share my location because I'm not in a very big city (so for privacy reasons) but there are so many Asian bakeries like this like in Vegas there's 85°C Bakery Cafe or Japan Town in SF and this vintage shop is very much like all the vintage shops in the Arts District of Vegas or Pretty Penny in the Bay Area! You're not missing out on much honestly lol although I found some great stuff I guarantee there are plenty of better vintage shops in other places. I'm originally from Vegas & lived in the Bay Area for 4 years so I often recommend places from there
Can you please give me some tips for thrifting online. Where I am from there aren't any thrift stores but I love the unique designs available online at a cheaper price. Can you please help me?
Happy early birthday! 😁🖤 I was so stoked to see my question was in the video hehe, I'm slowly switching my closet to a dark aesthetic after being into bright and pastel colours for a few years and your videos are always amazingly helpful and beautifully shot!! I love seeing all your finds too and how you style them, that slip dress is so gorgeous and the way the vest looked with the outfit you picked is so good!! 🥰
Thank you! And so excited to hear you coming to the dark aesthetic side, hold on to some of those colors though because I'm making a video on how color can still be dark 👀
@@silkymochi perfect! I still hold onto a lot of greens, purple, deep pinks and reds, but I was able to sell a lot of my pastel and really bright things so that worked out great! My season is definitely spring so I need some colours sometimes when I want to feel extra glowy but I was tired of the extreme cheerfulness, I am enjoying the gloomy girl vibe much more these days. 🖤 I'm excited to see your future videos on utilizing more colours! 😄
Once again my good friend, a big happy Early Birthday as I call it! Also some very good, sound & solid tips. As per always. Especially about looking for used items that generally make higher thread count brands. Even as a male only "somewhat" into fashion, I also use that phrase for the higher name bed sheets & comforters and such. You also made mention of _Poor Things_ of which I finally streamed last week. Its a *BRILLIANT* film! Oddly enough I viewed it with my mother in my living room. While a bit uneasy to view at times with a relative, I truly had a wonderful time with it. Not to mention that recently won Oscar by Emma Stone truly was well deserved with all of the chances that she took, to be sure! Cheers my friend.🦇🎃🕸🐈⬛🖤
Happy early birthday!! I loved your tips about what to wear while thrifting and wearing your finds with your classic jacket and boots so you can see exactly how it will fit in with the rest of your wardrobe. Definitely going to sort through my closet and make a list of what's 'missing' from it so I can focus on just getting what I actually need!
Happy early birthday! What an excellent idea to celebrate I love it! I have been looking for a long leather jacket for months now and yesterday I was in a cafe with a friend and there was a little second hand shop in the basement and there was a long leather jacket for a great price! I was so so happy, it's a lil wide at the shoulders so I might take it to a leather shop to adjust slightly cos sewing leather scares me 😅 but I'm so happy to find exactly what I was looking for!
99% of my style is and will be thrifted. For me, it’s an ethical and economical choice and I also sell my stuff all the time 😅 And I actually want to limit my shopping this way. And I actually get nauseus in stores that sell new stuff. There is already way too much stuff in the world and it makes me sick that people do not appreciate good quality anymore like back in the day when there was no mass production.

I loved this video! I’m going to Japan soon and wanted more ideas on how to thrift in a structured manner. Happy belated birthday!! 🤍🎂
Happy Birthday! Thanks for the great tips.
I watched poor things this past Friday and was very inspired by the costume and set design.
