I didn't realize the F-104 had an air-to-ground attack capability. At 1:08 it shows a panel labeled "Special weapons" in the center between the rudder pedals. It has a fuzing toggle switch labeled "Hi toss" at the upper position, and "Lo toss" at the lower position. Was this for bomb release?
I always thought the F-104 was purely an interceptor. Great video--thanks so much for posting it!

The F104A was an air superiority fighter, every subsequent model (including the 104C used by the USAF in Vietnam) could do both air to air and air to ground. Their main role in the German Air Force for example was nuclear delivery. The last model produced (the F104S in Italy) also had ground attack capability, but since the Tornado IDS was already in service it finished its career as an interceptor.

I have a photo taken at Greek War Museum in Athens with an old F-104 parked there, besides other planes like F-84 etc.
