- Tony Williamson on a 1924 Lloyd Loar Gibson F-5 mandolin, Noam Pikelny on a 1930 RB-3, Jon Stickley on a 1937 Martin D-18 and Ron Shuffler on the Big Bass at the 2014 IBMA "Vintage Instrument Tasting"
That's wonderful musicianship as they complement each other perfectly.
Come on folks this should have 100,000 views or more. All just amazing players. Perfection!
Each player a virtuoso.....fabulous!
Thanks for sharing your talents and music beautiful job
Amazing talent!! Thank you!!
Man Noam is just too good...
excellent!!!!!!
Supreme playing here. Noam is really (along with Jonny from Sleepy Man and Steve Martin...) making the banjo so popular and getting it out of it's three chord wonder status. Earl Scruggs would be well pleased.
marvelous
That guitar sound...
I had a 1973 D18 and had it stolen. I've picked up an old Levin (Martin) from about the same era - bigger sound I think than the Martin but is a bit harder to fret.
The best
Two thumbs up.
Fuck yeah
Great!
Yeah! $$$
That guy on bass. About a second and a half of camera time, then nope.
poor acustics, very hard to listen to
