Omg!! The nostalgia overload! I've watched the movies countless times, not just around Halloween. No Joke, Grandma Aggie's phrase "being normal is vastly overrated" is my motto in life.
I'm 54 and STILL watch it, my boys loved it, both so beautiful, ty for this!
Such a classic and timeless Halloween tradition!!! Halloween will never be the same again thanks to Halloweentown. Gwen's storyline is seriously always my favorite as I got older. It's so amazing to watch the transition she makes from the first film to the 4th film. Gwen seriously today reminds me of a mix of "Samantha" from Bewitched (wanting to live a normal life in the real world) and "Elsa" from Frozen. They both had dark pasts that caused them so much fear and hiding their powers. As time got on, they're able to learn to love their powers and their own individual selves.
Watching the Halloweentown movies made me really happy and sad! It reminded me how Halloween was in the 90s,and 2000’s. Not what it is now. I remember it didn’t start going downhill until the 2010’s with all the “Stranger Danger” Stuff!

Currently watching those wonderful movies again, I'm on the 4th one even though Kim wasn't in it. Missed her terribly in that one. I enjoy watching these films every October and loved all you guys' performances. Much love to the late Debbie Reynolds as well, loved her as grandma Aggie; I wish she was still here for this; would have been so great. #Halloweentown 🎃

I am happy I had time to watch the Halloweentown movies this year! I have been in college 11 plus years and am always busy around this time. I always say next year I will watch the first one at least but it never happens. This year is an exception, I ended up leaving college for personal reasons. Going back in January.

Halloweentown 5
Marnie is a single mom to 3 kids ages 13, 10 and 6. The youngest one powers are coming in. She been living in the mortal world and hasn’t visited Halloweentown as much since grandma Aggie passed. Since Marnie oldest child is now 13 she decides to take her kids to Halloweentown only this time things are different there is no giant pumpkin, and Kalabar is back and more powerful than ever. Kal is back too but is he good or bad? I’ll let y’all decide.
Note this will be a few years down the road. Figure you have to write the script, cast Marnie kids, learn lines,directed it, edit it. Etc. Also I’m not a writer this is just an idea.
And yes Gwen will be in the movie along with Dylan, Luke, Ethan and Benny

The biggest thing I learned from Marnie is that we all have something special about us and we should pursue finding that special thing regardless of what others think 🧡

first of let me say you are my favorite April ever. TMNT was my favorite cartoon and the original movie came out when i was three. My mom figured out i was gay when I said mom I want to be that April. Secondly. Halloweentown is a staple in my family. All the films but number 1 for sure. my Grandma Eleanor reminded me of their Grandma both in looks and Spirit.., because she's very bright in her persona and you felt like you could talk to her about anything and she'd listen 🙂

Love Halloweentown, my brother and I just finished the series. Gwen and Marnie gave Halloween a really special meaning to us growing up and even now. Wish there was alot more Sophie in the second one, that little girl did things that not even grandma Aggie could sense, she was teased to be an advanced witch, but they went nowhere with it. Otherwise we love the films

I always thought Gwen hiding from Magic, Aggie living apart from mortals, and Gwen marrying a mortal her mother didn't approve of... they all felt like references to Bewitched. Even if it was unintentional. Samantha even had kids in the later seasons although only two when there's 3 in Halloween town. loved listening to you guys talk and answer questions.
