Ridiculous LEGO donuts (and LEGO donut fails)

In some ways, the replacement of the 1x4 plate with two 1x1 round plates makes for a more aesthetically pleasing build that has less problems with the incomplete connections. But ultimately this design is much more fragile--which does make for some really fun filming moments. : ) And I'm just scratching the surface of what I could do with a LOT of these round plates.

it's almost like my life, barely holding myself together, except the donut actually looks nice
Why would you comment this wtf
I hope You fell better bro
@@jesse_cantcook have you never been on the internet before wtf
It's a joke
So if I understand correctly, your ‘donut’ looks nice..?
watching the donuts fall apart is great, unstable builds are quite wacky.
Agreed, and I love the blooper reel at the end
You know that he is just bend the bricks to actually make it feel like illegal to us but no its actually legal because it did not break the bricks
@@mikhaelikerchang1040 its illegal if the bricks have a lot of stress being placed on them, and im pretty sure they are, so yes this would probably be illegal.
He's not just bending blocks, he's bending reality!
Bending bricks
Merely creating his own reality!
I like his reality! Better than my own!
no, I do think he's bending blocks
Fun fact: The shape’s official name was technically “Torus” but we call it as “donut” due to its popularity and it’s one of the most iconic food with that shape (alongside with Bagels)
I Learned this in blender but I never knew it was official just thought that that was what they randomly named it cool fact bro
I believe "torus" is the _real_ name of the shape, not its _official_ name, seeing as there's no legal document that regulates shape names. It's just common knowledge.
@@i_am_ergo cool unfun fact 😒
True. Plus for me 'donut' is just more fun to say. 😁
fun fact no one gives a shit
I love how you can hear the chuckle at 4:13
The two interlocking rings made me think of a snake. I know you used all the same shade of green. However, with the dots being recessed into the build the shadows made it look like multiple shades of green.
Lego ouroboros!
It is a really nice effect. : )
Everything about Lego is satisfying
The colours, the shapes, the bricks, the sounds and even when we see it getting destroyed. God i love Lego
This reminds me of a time someone built a car out of LEGO for the first time (don't know how many cars like these was made). And now I wonder how you can implement brickbending in these scenarios
This is something I’ve wanted to point out for a long time. I have noticed that when you put groups of assembled legos together, you do not attatch them fully and in this video you can see this on more obvious scale
Yes, I'm not showing that final bit of careful tightening in favor of a more streamlined video. This one was definitely harder to hide because the connections themselves are so precarious.
Always happy to see interlocking donuts
The whole is just a little too narrow to create an actual chain, but I'll get there. : )
@@BrickBending If anybody can do it, you can! When that happens, know I'll be the first one there to congratulate you :D
that multilevel donut open a lot of possibilities with changing the second level type of parts. For exemple, a 2*2 round plate for a little ring, or wings triangle plates to make a sort of UFO ^^
Yes!
I really like how it falls apart into big chunks, like an object being cut up in a stop motion movie
Now do it with the half ones of those for a nice glazed donut, one side brown, the other whatever color/flavor frosting you want, I'm personally a fan of strawberry
I like how dedicated u are to making these lego builds they must be sooooo time consuming
It's my passion. Worth every second.
Concentric donuts. Take note, Krispy Kreme. 🍩
This guy's a maniac and a genius at the same time. God damm
This is like first class ASMR…
3:40 nearly spilled my coffee 😂
I did not expect it to fall apart so completely, so fast 😂
Very impressive Jeff 👏! Brick bending at its finest. The fails all make sense seeing as only 4 studs connect the build
" A doughnut hole, in a doughnuts hole!"😂
Super Cute ! Thank you for showing this in wonderful skill but also playful fail !
The models breaking apart was fun as well!!
All I see is a giant Lifesaver. Which is admittedly, extremely satisfying to look at.
Those are some clean designs
This video is so satisfying
Satisfying af
His little laugh at 4:42 kills me 😂😂😂
Woah circles are our favorite 🤩😍 ❤️
Nice presentation skills :-)
Great and cool as usual 👍. The fails are very important, as much as the successes. Are there curved LEGO pieces? Those 1×1 with variable angles of in to out surface would permit more stable geometric structures.
There are curved LEGO pieces but none like I think you're describing (that I know of). They would definitely help with stability.
0:42 Looks like a face going "OOH, WHAT'S THAT?"
if i walk into someones house and see they have this many of the same piece, im leaving and calling the cops immediately
I found myself laughing at the same time he was when all the piece’s broke apart. Those bigger donuts look awesome. Just a shame they’re so unstable. But still fun to spin and watch fall apart.
Such beauty.
It looks so cool
They look sooo good :D
Well That's a gigantic lego Donut and the fails make the lego Donut sad
For all those times when you need a scale model of the giant arc reactor in Stark Labs from Iron Man 1 to use in your Smash Bros-esque battle diarama
Wow this was very satisfying to watch! Who knew lego can be this versatile and unique.
The almost silent laugh gets me! 😂
Love it Bro!!!
Studs will probably make those outer rings more stable
Torus? Damn near killed us
Lego Slinky, that can walk down stairs.
Finally!!! One I can build!
Any idea where you could get circular or semi circular legos like this?
Fragile beauty
so sad you broke your lego coffee cups, but I heard lime green pieces were fragile anyway.
Where do you get so many of these specific pieces?
You can buy them online
My thought exactly!
Bricklink or Lego Store ask for a K Box of a common piece you want. For example you can get a box of 650-700 2x4s for $70.
@@_Shay_ thanks!
my whole argument after they said "🤡" 3:39
Me noticing that the bigger ones fall into more pieces:
I wish i had that many duplicates of a piece
All these amazing Lego blocks you have to create anything imaginable and you make a circle…
So that's how you make munchkins...
That escalated from donut to double donut to Eye of Sauron!
Have you tried making a torus with only two pieces in each disk? I think you can put a stud in the middle of 4 studs on the disc and then stack them normally.
When I try to make a circle I completely fail
Homer: Mmm donut.
Me: I'm hungry
“When this thing gets up to 88,000 likes, you’re going to see some serious bricks!”
Will this work if the studs are 2 high or even 3 high?
so cool!! i really would like to know if you already tried a möbuis string!?
one half circle, 0.001 second, two half circles
Man you are one crazy man
Now I want see you make a Lego mobius strip
We have reached the edge of bendability.
Every time I see a new video from you the first thing I think is “oh no”
hard to believe that donut isn't illegal
Obliterated means destroying completely
4:12
You're a goddamn genius
wow amazing
Ah Yes, A Coffee Mug
Ik it’s flimsy, but this just shows how powerful the LEGO Stud system is. How little it needs to stabilize
this would be beautiful to immerse in an epoxy table
damn dude that's a decent amount of triangles in that mesh, how long did it take to render?
Looks like he made those "lego donuts" out of "lego wasabi"🤭
You should make a chain but out of leggo donuts!
When caveman rides the donut, I totally heard “The Man in Me” in my head. 😂
Youre a madman
Mans just built lego ring bologna
2:00
Imagine being imprisoned and they chain u up with fucking lego
I just have one question. Where did you even get that many pieces to build these in the First place?
Please do something with mixed colours, just to mess with people!
I like to mix colors when I can. But this one just felt like it should be all lime green all the way. : )
I love the triple donut - what would be really good would be to see a lego Homer Simpson saying "mm, donuts", and then "DOH!", every time it breaks apart!
Physics ate the donut
what if you had two 1x1 circles on one side of the base plate and four on the other (stacked)
Can it be done with a round 4x4 ? Thank you
I've tried, but at least with the plates that I had they would not stay together. That's a pretty big gap for an incomplete connection.
Where Can I buy this legos
Looks like a car tire that has been piled in vomit
I got the RUclips loading circle at 4:06 and it was so perfect.
🤣
Okay, I am a noob.
But, on the off chance I will make an observation. On the 2nd form, would it be possible to stabilize the doughnut by adding the stubs to the outter connection of the doughnut? Or is that space not the same distance?
That would definitely help, but I decided to embrace the fragility of these builds for this video. They will always be somewhat unstable because of the incomplete connections, but it was pretty amazing to watch them just collapse over and over again.
@@BrickBending oh absolutely. Thanks for all the fun and brain bending along with the brick bending. C:
Quality content. I'm always baffled by how many pieces you use. I'm guessing you buy a bulk load of the same piece for each project. Either that or you work in a Lego factory.
Cheers. : ) And yes, when I have a fun build in mind I try to get as many of those parts as I can (within reason).
@@BrickBending i'm not sure if this amount of green round 4x4s is what they call "reasonable"... :p
Also how do you manage to get this shades? I've seen ones like this only in very few thematic sets.
Edit: found answer in comments already. Had no ideas that boxes (sets?) like this even exist...
Actually that's how they built the LHC
Reminds me of a curled up millipede.
Techy question for AFOLs: I saw an episode of Australian lego masters where the two long haired lads were trying to build a UFO and wondered why they didn't use a method similar to this. Why would this be considered "illegal"?
Can you make a star lantern from Lego?
I think if you make the outside white and then the center is the colour of your choice, it might be an eye
A little bit of Kragle will remedy that
You are right on that. I have never succumbed to the Kragle temptation, but for this...
It looks like a kiwi tire lol
Can you also make a set of Lego Borromean rings?
Yes. I have a YT short where I build my logo. Borromean rings with an extra outer ring. : )
1:04 my humor is really broken
Anybody know why he hasn’t hit 1M yet
