- How To Make a Rainbow Birthday Cake For Dogs 🌈! It's our dog Memphis's 10th Birthday, , so it's time to celebrate the dogs birthday and make a diy Birthday cake for dogs! Since Memphis turned double digits, we wanted to do an over the top Dog Birthday cake and decided to finally make a Rainbow Cake For Dogs! Are you looking for a special birthday cake for your dogs birthday? You have found the right place! In today's video we will show you how to make a mouth-watering Rainbow Birthday Cake that your dogs will absolutely love! This dog birthday cake recipe is a little more technical then some we have done in the past, but I think you can do it! Homemade birthday cakes are a great way to celebrate with your dog! Let's get into it!

🌈 Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups Flour (we used all purpose flour unbleached)
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Baking Soda
5 Egg Whites
1/3rd Cup of coconut cooking oil
1 Cup of buttermilk
2/3rd cup Plain Greek Yogurt
Frosting:
Whipped Cream Cheese
Preheat your oven to 325F
In a bowl, mix together all of your dry ingredients. In another bowl, mix together your wet ingredients. Slowly incorporate all ingredients together. You want a cake batter consistency. If it's too dry, add a bit of water, if it's too wet, add more flour. Now get 6 bowls (you can do 5 if you like to work with the cake pan set, but we did 6). And divide your ingredients equally. I used a kitchen scale for this. We got just over 5 ounces of batter in each bowl, but you might end up with more, as long as it's all even, we should be good! Once divided, add 1 - 2 drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix. Pour your batter into your pans. If you do 6 layers, we baked 3 at a time. Bake the cakes for 10 - 14 minutes. As soon as your toothpick comes out clean, they are done! Let your cakes cook completely before frosting. I used whipped cream cheese for frosting, but you can use any dog safe frosting that you like. Frost in between each layer, and carefully stack your cake. Frost the outside and top if you like as well. I added some sprinkles to the top. That's it!
And for those of you wondering if people can eat this, YES, you can. It tastes like buttermilk pancakes, but less sweet since there is no sugar in this recipe. If you want to make a version of this for yourself, add 1 cup of sugar to the recipe, and 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla.

Hey gone to the snow dogs and i really love the rainbow birthday cake for dogs recipe and i know that Memphis known as the snuggle buggle will love and enjoy the rainbow cake you made on her 10th birthday and the cake is so colorful and nice to enjoy as a treat not a meal replacement also you guys jassica and jamie are good parents to your other three dogs that will always be with you even if they are not around anymore but your dog shelby the diva is so adorable even when she had surgery in your other videos or when shelby likes cheese and dip on everything also i looked on the gone to the snow dogs website and made the strawberry dog treat for my dogs and my dogs really loved it even if they are cold for them to eat. hope you guys enjoy the rest of the day and evening and love you guys and stay safe and i will stay safe as well and stay postive and dream big

For my dogs' birthday (they both had their birthday the end of January.) I got a box of Petcakes cheese flavored dog treats that come with a small bone pan and are microwavable. I put whipped cream cheese in between each of the layers, 2 layers for each pooch because they are small dogs. First time either of my dogs had ever had whipped cream cheese and they went nuts for it and they liked the microwaved dog treats too! Was fun to watch them make a mess and enjoy their "cake". If I get overly ambitious next year, I might try one of your dog cake recipes. I've seen them all at this point lol
