@@TheNickMartinez he looked jittery on that play. Got right under it and then just… jumped? Kind of strange but can’t really blame him, it’s his first postseason game
While i think its fair to tell a pitcher who just threw a wild pitch and theb hit you to tighten up, complaining at the current pitcher about a different pitcher is a stretch.
Kind of. If the Dodgers had a game plan for him specifically to pitch up and in (if he doesn't hit those pitches well), then it isn't. This kind of stuff is common in MLB with scouting reports, so maybe that is the point of his complaint.
Man if you throw 100 mph and can’t control the ball you are legitimately threatening peoples lives. So when you hit someone high you should at least have the decency to admit it was your bad. Like Ohtani did against that A’s player
If you're not too up to speed on the rookie Miller you're looking at a dude, if he stays healthy, who is going to be superstar. He's the real deal. So is Outman. Dodgers are stacked with stud rookies. Had one last night, Sheehan, with 10 K's in 6 innings. Their farm system is the best. And they come up learning the "Dodger way." They'll be good for a long time.
Pepiot too. He was rough around the edges when he debut last year and then didn’t pitch until august this year but he’s finding his way. Hell if they all play to their potential, the Dodgers have an entire rookie rotation that will be a threat next year: Bobby Miller, Ryan Pepiot, Emmet Sheehan, Michael Grove, Gavin Stone
Other than the high strike out rate for Outman, he is a star in the making. Nice to have a player contribute so much early in their career because they are cheap.
"The power of knowing what a bubble is." 😅 Love your videos, Hector Neris and Julio Rodriguez had something going on last night, cleared the benches. Just lettin you know.
If he does that breakdown, I hope he looks into the history. I believe the Astros were upset about Chas McCormick taking a kidney shot the night before (and of course the fans cheering when Altuve got beaned - which seemed accidental to me). Worth noting Chas is one of the best hitters on the Astros' roster, and he didn't start the next night after coming out of the game because of the beaning. Also, I heard Chas had beef with France earlier in the season which might have contributed to why he was targeted.

Are you going to do a video on the foul ball off a check swing that the umpires missed in the second inning of the Braves game last nights versus the Cubs. I would love a breakdown on what Snitker said to get thrown out.
I'd imagine if it had affected the outcome, he'd be more apt to do it. I'm a Cubs fan, and while I'm not happy about the loss, I knew it was deserved when we went into 8th with just a 1 run lead. Couldn't be mad about how it shook out
"The power of knowing what a bubble is" - that DEFINITELY helped him with that smooth pop up out of the slide that he did... POP up? Get it? Ok, I'll see myself out
It's crazy how elite MLB are the ability to hit a target at 100 mph then hit another target while curving a ball 12 mph slower. Also a batter to scoop up a ball traveling 100 mph.
that was a fun exchange, the kid got excellent offspeed stuff to pair with the heater, to be fair to the hitter, one's mind doesnt operate rationaly right after getting plunked by a 99mph projectile, u litterally can see he got more and more reasonable with every passing second
We go from the Top of the 3rd to a random groundout in the top of the 6th, then "inning over" except there was only 2 outs in that inning after the ground out....other than that, NAILED IT!
One of the recent Dodgers v giants games was more worthy of a breakdown in my opinion there was like 3 mistakes in a row with 2 drops that caused a close game to let the dodgers win by 8 , but im no expert just a suggestion with peace and love
Ummm.......Jomboy......lol......ummm.......you went from all that crazy action that led to just 1 out in the top of the 3rd, runners still on 1st & 2nd, then immediately segued to the 3rd out in the top of the 6th, bases empty 😁
“Bo Miller” (as AtBat calls him in the stat line) may just put the Blue past the DS. Guy’s the best call-up pitcher they’ve had in years, and just in TIME for a rotation w 1/2 a healthy starter remaining (Kersh).
You have to take a look at the european championship semifinal, netherlands against spain. Great game and even the benches cleared twice in the final innings.

From my perspective. I was the 69th like, you're welcome.
ngl i read your comment before I watched the video and was incredibly excited to learn what a bubble was, like contextually in baseball.
It was apparently such a great catch that it was worth 9 outs and warp-piped the game from top 3 to top 6 🤣

Look, he's got a little kid, he's not sleeping, let's cut him some slack. The innings all run together sometimes.

@@Douggy24 I noticed that too 😂
Outman is a surfer by nature. That was a class A standup.
Just as impressive as the diving catch was the immediate pop up an throw
What do you expect from a guy named Outman? 😂

Yes! I'm surprised jomboy didn't say anything about this. He fuckin poped up like he was the Wolverine. That was awesome!

I'm far more impressed by outmans feet popping up like that than I am of the outstanding play he made.
They were different innings? First clip was from the 3rd and the random groundout was in the 6th and didn't even end the inning
I noticed that too
Thanks for pointing that out. I noticed it only showed 2 outs but I couldn't figure out why 😅
I think its cuz he's showing Miller's mess ups throughout the game leading to that accidental hit
yeah i was wondering where the hell the baserunners went lol
I guess the editors forgot to watch the video before dropping it.
Bobby Miller is going to be in the league for a really long time. That sinker/12-6 curve combo seems awfully familiar in that Dodger uniform
@2:22 The way he popped up directly into the throwing stance was pretty epic.
