I just want to say, thank you John for sponsoring Brew Strong for so many years. Also, I really like this tutorial for the Brew Easy. An "all-in-one" unit I am considering. Cheerz.
Test drove the breweasy surface for Blichmann for our brew club ASH (Arizona society of Homebrewers). Definitely one of the easiest most efficient systems out there. I really enjoyed ease of cleanings and how powerful it was once we got the hang of how to use the system since it was new to me. Blichmann engineering is top notch.
Very satisfied BrewEasy 10 Gal customer here, too. Thanks for the GREAT product, as well as update & tips! I have considered replacing my BoilCoil kettle with a Surface.
I absolutely love my 10gal-240v Blichmann Brew Easy (15/20 kettle configuration). My system is only four years old and continues to perform flawlessly. The Surface would be a great upgrade and eliminate some worry from keeping my submersion coil covered with wort. I’m curious of the additional weight the Surface has compared to the traditional boil coil application.
Very cool updates to the BrewEasy. I loved mine before. The Surface kettle upgrade was the best update IMO. Now I love it even more. Easy to clean as your clips of my own cleaning video demonstrate.
I brew on your 10 gallon ProPilot electric HERMS system. I just want to say what great quality your kettles and pumps are. I especially appreciate the false bottom (same one as shown in the system in this video). I’ve never used a false bottom that worked as well and yet never had a stuck sparge. I’ve tried to push my recirculation and never had any issues. I highly recommend your kettles and brewing systems Thank you for your great products.
This is an awesome video. We currently have a 3 vessel 1bbl boilermaker herms system with 3 riptide pumps. We are always looking at new techniques on improving our brewing!!!!! Keep putting out this amazing content!!!!!
So glad it was helpful for you! We certainly will. Make sure to stay tuned @BlichmannEngineering and @AnvilBrewing Equipment for our educational series that will start this month with Mike Frericks from @BitterRealityBrewing.
Right? The best thing about brewing is that you learn something with every brew day that you didn't know before. It's a process and if you ever need anything we'd love to support you. Jared in our customer service has some stellar best practices and tips. He's at support@blichmannengineering.com. Don't hesitate to reach out.
Looks like you have stuck with this approach and it is taking shape. Some suggestions from a Low Oxygen brewer and Anvil Foundry owner: 1. Add your grain to the mash tun first then Connect the recirc hose to the mash tun outlet to perform an Underlet. Close the valve and hook up the stem and proceed. 2. Create a mash cap that is integrated with the system. 3. Change the silicon tubing to Tygon or Santroprene. 4. Have a way to slow the pump down considerably via PWM or similar to limit shear force during the recirculation. Do these things and low oxygen brewers will see the system as a decent all in one option. Please let me know if you would like for information!
Thank you, @januszkszczotek8587, for reaching out! We have several European retailers, which is likely the quickest and easiest way to get our products. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Jared from our technical customer service team at support@blichmannengineering.com-he would be happy to assist you.
While the 30/30 is the largest model we have at this time, you might want to look into the Pro Surface™, as you can always do smaller batches without that element exposed. It's more commercial, but if you are looking at moving in that direction it is the way to go! www.blichmannengineering.com/pro-surface.html
Hi there! It's a 10/10 prototype, but the BrewEasy™ 10 Gallon Batch model is the most comparable. You can find it here: www.blichmannengineering.com/breweasy.html
Aw dang. I really like the 25lbs of grain and the surface element combo. Guess I'll have to wait, my current system can do the 18 of the current 7.5 gallon kettle. And i can't justify the purchase if it doesnt have what i need. Hopefully, we can get the prototype to market soon.
Thank you Mr. Blichmann and CO for all you do and supporting the brewing industry!
Thank you for giving us the privilege of supporting you!
Love seeing new Homebrew items.

Perfect timing with end of Dry January.
Thanks guys!!! Great info and great products
We just picked up at false bottom for our 55 gal mash tun (finally). Realized I should have also picked up a new dip tube.

Glad it was helpful!
Love the helpful videos
Very cool.
If I get back to 10 gallon batches, I'll have to make the decision between the largest Anvil and a BrewEasy.
Sure would be nice!!!

Great Wort is easy to make. Fermentation temperature control and O2 free packaging is what makes great beer.
Love all the new equipment I have an anvil foundry. Thanks guys!
Nice! Thank you for all the support. We appreciate you.
Lovely machine. Unfortunately not available in the EU.
