House of wax is a traumatizing movie for me. My brother a drunk at 14 years old, had me watch the movie with him as he tried to apologize to me for being a drunkard and a bad brother to me. Ironically so, he was drunk then. I was 11 years old and didnt want to see the movie. He wouldn't let me leave the living room. I cried and he kept saying sorry over and over but then would proceed to laugh when i got scared. I was hesitant watching this when i saw the title and house of wax image. But weirdly enough i almost fell asleep. Which goes to show even in situations where we break a wax figure and she turns us into a wax figure i feel safe when this woman is talking. 🥺
